{Ed025's Note - they must have a pre contract agreement jonno..

He won't actually sign until the window opens. Just means all the terms of the agreement have been completed now.

Troy Deeney rumoured again, 35m who's having a laugh?

I wouldn't be laughing.

You laugh at deeny's price tag but value lukaku and barkely at 100m and 50m? you guys are delusional.

I agree, I think he's a good player but for £35m and £100k a week I would rather us search elsewhere but then again if he could score 20 prem goals for us then it's a bargain.

Pick a number between one and ten multiple by five subtract two then add four zeros. That's about a scientific the rags and media outlets get when pricing up players. The market will dictate what players go for. Deeney is not woth £35m and Lukaku and Barkley are not worth £150m either.

rovercocastic - Deeney 28 years old. 10 goals. Lukaku 24 and 25 goals. A 1 in 2 record for prem near enough. Much more room to progress.

Whilst i don't rate him at 100m, to compare him to Deeney is ridiculous.

Decent player, but we need more than decent.

Morning Eds, what do you think of Cuco Martina from Southampton on a free. ?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - i suppose he would be alright as a stop gap until seamus is fit again AB but i dont see him being a regular starter mate..

26 May 2017 09:23:16
No nor me mate he didn't play a lot of games for Southampton last year. Good golf weather mate.

Koeman obviously knows him from his time at Southampton. Obviously again Koeman sees something in him so I'm happy enough. Could turn out to be another surprise bargain. Walsh is no stranger to them either.

I think it's a shame the Walker debacle has happened when it has because Trippier looks like a quality player now he's getting games. Missed out there.

Kenney had a great season in the under 23 side, he is by reports, playing out of his skin for england at the under 20s world cup, so why do we even have an interest in a free transfer player who could not hold down a place at s/ hampton?

Koeman and Walsh must know something no one else does. Suits me. Kenny might get his chance also. Coleman can play on the wing either.

I watched the u20s game yesterday and Kenny was superb. Defensively solid, accurate in the pass, great going forward and quality delivery. His link up with do well for the goal was top class. I'd like to see him get his chance next season. Natural heir to seamus.

I think a lot of people are getting carried away with Walsh, nor he koeman or any of our team are world class, we're moving in the right direction tho but nowhere near the top six clubS yet.

Who finished first last season Bebington blue1? Another question, were they world class? Last question, what constitutes world class? Top 4 finish would do me. World class or not.
