I think this could be a good deal for us, i know he wasn't for them lot but he was really gud for bpool, put him in the middle with gibbo and let us play through him and again IMWT so keep the positives coming

Agree0 Disagree0

NO NO NO NO...HE'S CACK.......

Agree1 Disagree1

I have also heard that this is a goer. I think it is a good deal. The lad is a good player - we would have all been over the moon if we signed him a year + ago. Give him chance...

Agree1 Disagree0

True or not if moyes wants him., we should trust his judgement.

Agree0 Disagree0

We let a better player go to tranmere

Agree0 Disagree1

To the man who said he is cack, i know three cack player, an they think it is bloody unfair. ON THEM.

Agree0 Disagree1

Adam is a championship player at best! he's slow and can't tackle; and there his plus points!

Agree0 Disagree0

I dont trust the judgement of someone who wants doyle gives anachebi such a long contract wont play barcley not everything he does is correct i do like the why hes wheeled and dealed this summer naismith merrielis pienaar in rodwell out still some cash over please dont waste it on doyle theres a reason wolves were relagated is lack of goals 1 of them what would he bring to us

Agree1 Disagree0

The person who doesn't trust Moyes judgement, vic was given a contract or we would of lost him on a free, that's bad business! Barkley, as much as you want to kid yourself, he is not ready yet, I've watched him come on in games and he looks Amazed by the people around him on the pitch, ie Rooney! This stops him playing what he is capable of, therefore not ready!
Doyle is just a rumour, till it happens that is all it is!
And after saying you don't trust him you praise him for his signings!?! You don't trust a manager that keeps us in the higher end of the table, delivers European football!?!
I have a lot of trust in him as do many others, and this season is off to a flyer, and I hope it keeps flying, with the manager I trust!? I don't want to swap him for any other, he knows the club the way it works and what it's about, I think he does a great job year in year out, and would love to see what he could do if he actually had money to spend!

After missing out on Mbaye Niang Moyesy wants Johnny Russell and Kevin Doyle.

Believable14 Unbelievable13

we could be on for 6 or 7 signing by the end of the week doyel riussell philips ince owen chamakh Gouffran moore some of them will be loans its possible to get them all in

Believable3 Unbelievable33

Absolutely no chance of bringing that many players in. Maybe 1 more but that will be it.

Mike {Ed025's Note - mike..you are the most negative poster i have ever met!...have you got anything positive to say?..

Agree1 Disagree0

Maybe a couple of them but certainly not all.
Joe EFC

Agree1 Disagree0

Ed025, I don't think that is negative, you can't honestly believe we will sign 6 or 7 players this week

Mike {Ed025's Note - i dont mike...i was generalising mate...we are enjoying a really good time at the moment, but you seem to put a negative twist on everything!..

Agree1 Disagree1

We would never afford the wages never mind the fees

PTF

Agree0 Disagree1

Whats happened to all the money we got last year? Why couldnt we get at least 3-4 of these, even if we dont were going places this year and am loving it COYB {Ed025's Note - im loving it too mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Why do it? bringing in 6 or 7 players would totally destroy the team spirit.

Agree1 Disagree0

What you on mate. No chance of getting that many in

Agree1 Disagree0

I think we'll bring 2 in. 1 permanent and 1 loan.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice one mate we'll just bring in 4 strikers, 3 wingers and a center half!

Agree1 Disagree0

...Grumpy, Sneazy, Dopey, Blitzen, Rudolph, Prancer, Tiny Dancer seamstress for the band..

I think we need to loan out Ross Barkley to a championship team this kid has a lot of promise dont think he will get much playing time this season but next year or the year after i would say he will be ready i would love to see him play regular week in week out he would shine in the championship and it would give him the boost he needs to make the next step there would be a lot of teams intrested in taking him on a season long loan i would say .Stef the blue

Believable15 Unbelievable10

I think this will only happen if we bring in another midfielder before the window shuts. Wouldn't mind Tom Huddlestone, I know he has had an injury but is a good passer of the ball and I think Moyes was interested in him last summer, reckon worth a season long loan.

Agree0 Disagree1

'If he's good enough he's old enough'. Barkley is supposed to have more potential than Rooney and I can't remember Wayne being loaned out even at sixteen years of age.
With our squad size introducing Ross, from the subs bench, with 20 minutes left would be a wiser alternative.
Fancy Smith

Agree0 Disagree0

Wolves fan here
Can't believe you are seriously interested in Doyle. Good hard worker for the team but just doesn't score enough goals. Can't see him doing much for you TBH.

If you want to send Barkley out on loan somewhere send him to us. From what I've seen of him he looks like a very good prospect.
Good luck for the rest of the season. {Ed025's Note - cheers mate..

Another great game.

Been doing a little Bank Holiday work for you fellow blue noses. Not sure what to make of the Niang chase as there are massively conflicting reports here and in Italy. Here it nearlydeal done and same story in Italy with Milan.

It seems that AC Milan cant loan Kaka so they have changed to niang as their main priority.

Really hope he chooses us when he looks at the league table and the footy we've been playing.

Everton can afford the 15 million for m'villa so he isn't coming. I would be disappointed if we brought Doyle for 6mil is I don't think he is worth it, but we could bid for him. Niang not coming, or Owen (thank god) but Atleast one more signing and a loanee.

Believable5 Unbelievable5

'Everton can afford the 15 million for m'villa so he isn't coming.'?

I suppose Messi's coming because we can't afford him then?

Keith EFC.

6M for Doyle! and the rest! Look how much Sunderland paid Wolves for Fletcher. I would take Doyle over Fletcher any day!!

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Aug 2012 16:56:33
The M'Vila rumours are rubbish, we dont have 15m to spend unless we are planning to let a big name go. I expect a striker on loan and maybe a young fringe player.

Believable7 Unbelievable3

How do we know we aint got 15m, i know a lot of people are touting about 12m for rodwell, (ive heard from a city season ticket holder its more around the 21m mark) i laughed too, little over 5m for mirallas, cahill sold for 1m yobo for 2mwhch gives us 10m, a 5m budget before all these sales aint out of our range in my opinion! a strong holding midfielder is probably not enough of a priority for us to spend 15 million on one, id much rather him spend 10 m on someone like defoe, although this kid niang is highly rated, it doesnt mean he is gonna cut it in the prem. yobo was highly rated and wanted by arsenal among others.

I can see the Gooners coming in for Felli ,the Arse is itching to spend some cash, Guernsey Blue

Believable6 Unbelievable13

Stop being negative

Agree1 Disagree0

They'd need to pay 40 mill at least

Agree0 Disagree0

Let him come , HE IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE ......opening bis wud be 30 mill

Agree1 Disagree0

Felli loves Everton, could have left last season but signed new contract. Got him till at least Christmas!

Agree0 Disagree1

Wenger would never spend 35m+ on 1 player, anyway better chance of getting champions league football with Everton next season.

Agree1 Disagree0

Arsenal would try and get him on the cheap! They do not spend money. Screech is possibly the best midfield player any where at the moment. We would start the bidding at 30M at least!! Arsenal won't pay that!

a website reporting that Everton and Aston Villa have made enquiries for Kevin Doyle of Wolves. As we all know from past windows Moyes is an admirer of Doyle's work rate and he had him top of his list in January in case the deal for Jelavic had collapsed. A deal is now on the cards.

Its SSN!

Agree1 Disagree0

Look on a website website

Agree1 Disagree0

We dont need another striker,we need a right back and have needed one for 10 years.

Agree0 Disagree0

Doubt we'd get him. Moyes does like him and he isn't too bad but Wolves are much richer than they were recently and aren't desperate to sell, they'll want more than we will pay.

And whoever said we needed a RB for the last 10 years, Hibbo is god. A backup who could also play CB is what we do need though.

Everton fear they have missed out on prodigious striker M'Baye Niang, who looks set to agree a four-year deal with AC Milan.

Niang had also been tracked by the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal this summer but David Moyes moved ahead in the race to land him recently.

Moyes was confident he had sealed a £2m for the Caen striker, just 17.

But Everton's move for Niang has pressed AC Milan into action and the lure of playing for the Italian giants seems too much to resist.

It has been reported in France that Niang is expected in Milan in the coming days, where he will sign a four-year deal with the Serie A club.

Believable14 Unbelievable4

I read something similar on l'equipe which is a reliable French source unfortunately it looks like we have missed out on him
Little Tim

Agree0 Disagree0

If he wants to lower his playing standards to play for ac milan that his problem i honestly think the lad mind isent in the right place to choose milan over us

Agree0 Disagree0

I can honestly say I was very excited by the prospect of having this exciting young talent at our club soo much that I am now rather disappointed of us missing out on him but if he doesn't value his playing time over money or maybe he's rather assured that he has the ability to make it they'd I don't know but if I was him I would have chosen us oh well I hope moyes makes another exciting signing to cheer me up not Kevin Doyle but if mirallas is our last piece of business I won't be disappointed its been a rather good transfer window for us

Agree0 Disagree0

The player we need is tom ince

Agree1 Disagree0

Tom ince won't move to us not this season as he has already said to many people he wants to repay holloways faith in him

Agree1 Disagree0

If this true I'm rather disappointed with the club. The lad obviously likes the kudos of playing in a league were cheating and match fixing is the order of the day!!

Talksport (not particularly a reliable source) and French media saying Everton & Newcastle both bidding for M'Vila..

What you heard ed? My money would be on him replacing tiote at the toon to be honest. {Ed025's Note - i would love it...but remain very sceptical, as we are talking major dosh..

Believable0 Unbelievable13

Seen him two or three times since arsenal's initial interest but haven't been so impressed.. Don't see any foundation in these rumours as he'd cost in excess of 8/10 million. Also not keen on the Doyle talk.. With Mirallas on board, I'd be more concerned with strengthening central midfield..

Agree1 Disagree0

Yann M'villa seam's most likely

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the "top french player" is yann m'villa. I cant see us having the reported 15 million it would take to get him. But reports in france are now saying that us and newcastle have now registered interest. Be brilliant if moyes pulled this off but cannot see it happening.

Everton are supposedly interested in signing 19 year old leicester defender Liam moore. Never heard of him to be honest and hes only made 5 appearances for the club. man united also interested.

Were also being linked with the annual kevin doyle rumour. he would be a good back up striker but nothing more. i would rather see ince or phillips come in. both of these rumours are being reported in the mirror. make of them what you will.

DraperEFC

Believable6 Unbelievable6

Sounds like the sort of deal Moyes does on deadline day coleman, gosling type signings they often turn out the best value, we do need bodies we've let a lot go this summer.

Agree1 Disagree1

I think Ince and Phillips both have great . they have already got off to a flyer at Blackpool but Ince looks more like a goal scorer than Pillips. never herd of moore.
good start fot the blues, hope we can continue it against West Brom away

niang deal is done 100% will be announced over the next few days..

charlie adam and michael owen are not happening.

we're chasing either phillips/ince (more chance of getting phillips)

donovan to sign in january.

so say 2 signings in this window being niang and phillips/ince and then in january donovan will sign and wear the number 10 shirt... i think niang is gonna be number 9 (his current number at caen) and phillips/ince number 8...

as far as im aware, the barkley loan has gone quiet because of everton still waiting for a couple new faces.. also coleman could be used in a swap deal persuading a move for a blackpool player... ince/phillips.

heitinga is staying hes happy, anichebe staying aswell and as i said several times - baines gonna stay an everton player..

CP

Believable6 Unbelievable12

Love to know were you get the donavan one, in a radio interview on soccer today radio, covered by NBC sport, and available to read on toffeeweb, he has said;

The chances of me playing again this off-season are very slim, he told the Soccer Today radio show.

I've had, not since this January but last January [2011], a total of two weeks off. My soccer enthusiasm is not as high as it was two years ago. I'm kind of ready for a break when this [MLS] season is over.

Asked if some time off would recharge his love of the game, the 30 year-old said that that might just be what he needs.

It's possible. That's why I'm really focused on doing my best this year and finishing up the year and then reevaluating. It could very well be.

I've been out the last 10 days with this [hamstring] injury and I'm already chomping at the bit to get back on the field again, so that could very well be the deal.
