Gibson back for the game on Wednesday. He was in the away end yesterday having a beer with us just before half time!

Shaun

Believable14 Unbelievable17

Of course he was, I mean prem league players always go in the away end and have a few scoops with us mere mortals instead of travelling with the team don't they? I suppose he drove up there in his ford focus as well?

Agree0 Disagree0

Actually he was in the away end. Some fans posted pics of it on . But he's had a setback and won't make the midweek game.

Agree0 Disagree0

He was in the away end,

Agree0 Disagree0

Mirallas is expected to be back for WBA tho

Agree0 Disagree0

He was there, you arrogant man.
Ste Old Swan

Agree0 Disagree0

Bet the 2nd poster feels a bit of a plonker now...

Agree0 Disagree0

He was there, James Wallace was just in front of me as well.
Addo

Agree0 Disagree0

There are about 20 photos of him at the game on sat. He was a bit worse for wear as well! Check your facts before you get all smart arse on us first poster

Agree0 Disagree0

He was there, james wallace was there in front of him, he was talkin about his bet he done

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha, what great 1st reply to my message!

Shaun

Agree0 Disagree0

Seen him there myself. its happened a few times over the years. I once witnessed richard dunne singing kopites are gobs&£"es in the anny rd end. antefc

Agree0 Disagree0

Steven Pienaae was in the away end at Cheltenham, he posed for loads of photos too! Second poster has never been to a game in his life

Dave M

Agree0 Disagree0

Everton are eyeing up a deadline day move for 19 year old Standard Liege startlet Imoh Ezekiel. Fee set to be around £2.5 - 3m

JG

Believable17 Unbelievable11

He's the sort of player I could imagine us getting and could be quite a smart purchase, but he's got 4 and a half years left on his contract so may cost more than £3m.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be a typical Moyes signing, someone who I've never heard of. Has a pretty decent goalscoring record too. But one for the future maybe, when we need a ready made goalscorer right now.

Agree0 Disagree0

No doubt he will end up at loftus road then

Agree0 Disagree0

Is that the ex man utd youngster who is now at spurs
u

Agree0 Disagree0

No that's Ezekiel Fryers
Joe EFC

Agree0 Disagree0

No mate if he's now at spurs how could he go to us from liege? This guy is a Nigerian striker. The one who used to play for utd is an English left back called Zeki Fryers.

Does anyone think everton should put in a 1.5 million bid for holtby to try and snag him from spurs

Believable19 Unbelievable9

Yep, I'd love that, snatch him under Spurs noses!

Wages mate, we can't top Spurs unfortunately and money talks

Degsy

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think that will happen. Pre-contract agreement must have a section in it that rules this out. If not Tottenham chiefs need their Hess checking! Holtby gone move on!

Agree0 Disagree0

Why pay 1.5 million to have him till July when he has a contract starting with them

Agree0 Disagree0

Spurs have already had two bids turned down, he's guna end up there

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2013 15:40:20
Totally agree mate maybe 2m to make them think about it

Agree0 Disagree0

The problem with Holtby is not his transfer fee. The big sticking point would be his high wage demands, he is asking for an amount similar to what Fellaini is on, now, haven't seen a lot of Holtby, but surely he isn't as good as the big Belgian? Not to mention, our wages to turnover ratio is very high, something like 75% or something, we cannot be adding to that, for this to happen, we would have to get someone off the books (we are trying to get Heitinga off the books, but easier said than done).

Agree0 Disagree0

Why? He doesn't want to join us. He's a free agent in the summer and was free to go anywhere. He picked Spurs, he wasn't forced into it, or sold to them. And if he was that brilliant why are Schalke letting him go instead of offering him a new, bigger, contract? Bluesaint.

Agree0 Disagree0

Been reading posts about holtby for past 3 seasons. Change the record guys.

Agree0 Disagree0

Please stop going on about Holtby. he's just not good enough.

Agree0 Disagree0

We would be very stupid not to.

The problem is not that we can't afford him or that he isn't good enough....HE HAS ALREADY SIGNED A PRE CONTRACT WITH SPURS!! (Sorry for shouting but people seem oblivious to the plain facts)

What about just the Fellaini to chelsea bit...

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree0 Disagree0

My mate just said Liverpool will win the FA Cup.....sounds almost as daft as your mate;)

Some papers are reporting that we are back in for Barnsley right back John Stones. Wigan, Sunderland and Fulham have all had moves rejected but Moyes hopes to get him for £2m.
Joe EFC

Believable20 Unbelievable10

He might be great in a couple of years but he isn't near ready for the premier league. Maybe if we got some money knocked off by sending a couple on loan to Barnsley, it'd be an okay deal for the future.

Agree0 Disagree0

You never know until you put them in and give them a go at top level. Look at Shaw at Southampton. Could turn out to be a bargain!

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be a cheaper alternative to San byram who I would prefer we bought but just signed a new contract until 2016. And would probably require 4 million + to land him I recon 6 million would get him but we don't have a lot of cash
And right back is somewhere we need to strengthen now or in the summer with the midfield striker cb roles also needing new recruits and maybe even a goal keeper

Agree0 Disagree0

To the last post. So wot your sayin is then that we need a new player in every position, haha did you go 2 the same coachin school as villas boas you clown

I don't think that's a priority at the moment Neville coleman at hibbo wen fit play that position midfielder at striker is wats needed I think.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not being funny mate but he's right your the one whos deluded if you don't think we need a new player in the 4 main areas

Agree0 Disagree0

I didn't say we didn't need people in them areas did I lad, I said he was stating the obvious by sayin we need sum1 in every position so learn 2 read b4 you hav a go butthole
