That performance against Fulham surely had to leave a mark on Dempsey, and hopefully it swayed him into choosing Everton.
Would be a terrific addition to the squa,d with Fellaini, Jelavic and Pienaar being dominant, add a lad who has scored 22 goals into the frame, I might even begin thinking about top 4 again {Ed025's Note - he would be good, but securing peanuts is vital!..

I doubt it, if he hasn't even began pienaar talks (which must be his number 1 target) why would he start talks a club over another player? besides martin jol wasn't even at the game he had a chest infection or something

Dempsey only has 1 year left on his contract after this yr...so will probably be available at a knockdown price if he chooses to leave! Him and Peanuts on a permanent would be a sign to the likes of felli an bainesy that we mean business! COYB!!

If this actually happens it would be the best bit of business Moyes will have ever done, and probably the best bit of business he will ever do. Redmond is one of the best young English players at the moment.
Very unlikely thoungh, he probably will have the choice to sign with Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and i've seen a rumour before that he is/was being watched by Real Madrid and Barca.
Any idea if Moyes is even interested in him Ed? And i agree with the other reply, it would be more like £5m + {Ed024's Note - George green turned down a host of clubs to come to everton, so he would come as he would know everton is a great club to learn and grow as a young player, i think tentative enquiries have been made about redmond
