It is not £4.5m. You have no source for that. The £3m information is from inside information.

Fee agreed for Pienaar BUT there is a strong rumour that it is £3m, the same as what we paid for him.

No it is £4.5m

Cant see everton paying £4.5 on a 30 plus player it's not an investment.
Agree0

At 4.5 mill it's probably slightly expensive but if it sways Leighton Baines staying with us then it's a steal. Steven Pienaar has been nothing but exceptional for us and than God we've got him back. He brings a beautiful balance to the team. Welcome back Steven, stick around this time!!

we should monitor lucas piazon. can't see him breaking into the first team for chelsea this yr, so maybe a season long loan for the kid? i think he can play upfront and just behind the striker.

It's pretty sad when our biggest transfer news of the week is the suggestion that Conor McAleney might sign a contract extension.
Sign of the times ... Not a pot to pass water into at Goodison?

Its the way it is so deal with it,we all dnt like it but all this negetivity is ridiculous,we havent sold any big players and signed naysmith and pienaar wil come so lets look 4ward to the season, true blue efc 4 life

Surely the biggest transfer news of the week is out of Cahill, Pienaar, baines, Johhny H?
Agree1

The transfer window is longer than last week!
I`m starting to think these doom and gloom mongers are Kopites again.

Sign Mcalenay is a deal to be happy with as he`s a good prospect. why cant we be happy about the players we are developing!? we have some of the best youngsters in the league. I tip Barkley, Velios and Duffy all to have good seasons and hopefully Garbutt can understudy Baines

We're supposed to be the best fans in the world, I see someone put a statement, alright it's abit negative but it's not that bad and all you can do is bitch and moan, get off his back
Agree0

I for one think we do have th ebest fans in the world, allthough we have to put up with our spoilt brat neighbours who come on to our websites posing as blues to try and bring us down.

Naismith is a superb aquisition! junior looks a real talent and he was the deal that went under the radar in jan. Vellios looks like a goals scorer. Barkley is top class and i expect he will step up to fill Cahill`s spot. Gueye is a developing talent who showed last season has match winning abiltiy. Gibson is a top class midfielder who has only lost once in a our colours in six months and not lost a league game in over 2 years and of course Jelavic is the most deadly striker in the league!! with a couple of carefull additions and youth players promoted we have the ability to mount a charge up the league table. The deal for Pienaar will get wrapped up shortly and i think there will be one more eye catching signing and always the posibility of a few loans. Im excited for the new league season and infact have just Ordered my new home shirt. I look forward to seeing you boys at the old lady next season making some noise. {Ed025's Note - love it mate..

What is with all this negative crap? Okay so the great Tim Cahill has moved on, these things happen and perhaps it was time. However, we have some serious quality and prospects already at the club to replace him, some of us are old enough to remember Duncan McKenzie being sold and replaced by Geoff Nulty. (Now there was a reason to moan!)
We have a decent squad, some really talented youngsters who do seem ready to step up and I firmly believe DM will bring in Peanuts and maybe one more just to tweek things. look at reality, the Arabs of Eastlands have spent hundreds of millions yet we beat them! They just scraped the title from United, because we went to Old Trafford put the ball down and played with heart and pride, In one of the best games I have seen for a long time. (Something a lot of the over priced and over paid prima donna's some people would have us sign can't even comprehend.)
We are Everton supporters, the clue is in the name................SUPPORT and lay off with all the negativity, for the first time in many years we have genuine reason for optimism this season.

Get a grip! We have the same squad that we had at the end of last season minus Cahill. Looks like Peanuts will be signed soon, we have added Naismith, Junior is looking quality, Maguye Gueye will feature more, Barkley is getting stronger, Rodwell looks fit and raring to go, McAlaney looks decent, Shane Duffy can be a superb CB, and Velios the guy who played well the first half of last season!
Oh and Big Vic is looking good, 5 goals 6 shots!!
Agree1

Dont care who we might and might not sign, just cant wait for the season to start COYB!!
Agree1

Why are you being so negative? Go and watch someone else if you don't like the way we are run!
Bet you jump on the band wagon when we gt to wembley!
Agree0

Why u moaning about no money to spend? yes were not the richest club by any means, but Bill splashed the cash on Jelavic and Gibson, is spending on Pienaar, has to alocate funds for Naismith tribunal outcome, stumps up wages for loan players, and were apparently looking at bringing others in. No pot to p*ss in... do we look like rangers, portsmouth and the likes? Also take a look at the gobsh*tes across the park who have to sell before bringing anyone in including loans. were now in a much better position than alot of seasons gone by!

Everton, Manchester City & Liverpool are all in the hunt to sign young Derby starlet Mason Bennett, Bennett who made his Derby debut at the age of 15 is thought to be picking up a fair bit of interest this summer.

Been saying that for a month! To be honest I couldn't care less if he signs or not. There are other good players we should be looking at in this window instead of wasting all our time on this one deal !

It would ease the nerves a bit if the Peanuts deal were tied up sooner rather than later, as for the other player I can safely say that it will not be Winston Parks!
