. you heard it here 1st folks.Lewis holtby & jay Rodriguez!

Believable11 Unbelievable10

Zacki now is not the time for messing mate lol no but seriously were have u heard this or are u just guessing.

Agree0 Disagree0

Honestly zacki I hope your right mate, hope your not just dangling money on a string here haha

Agree0 Disagree0

I like the new signing in rule - means we get to know whom knows and who doesn't! Hope you're right Zaki!

Agree0 Disagree0

It's a bit of a guess with holtby stef/guys. as I quite rate him & think he could do a job for us (especially after last night, lol) but Martinez is definitely keen on jay Rodriguez. I guess any decision on him will depend on the results of lukakus scans later on today.we'll, reckon there will definitely be 1 more addition though.

Agree0 Disagree1

If selling jelavic for 6.5/7.5, which is quality buisness, and then signing a replacement on loan, doesn't show everyone that were skint I don't know what will. I wouldn't be surprised if we did absolutely nothing on deadline day. I'm hoping we will but as squads go this is one of the biggest we've had. Unless we do a city and some guy with more money than sense steps in, then we can expect nothing.

Agree0 Disagree0

After last night we've got people posting 'you heard it here first' dreams. Then saying it's a guess. What a muppet

Hi Ed, Another name the press have linked us with is Adrian Lopez from Athletic Madrid, a 21yr old striker small and very quick and knows where the net is. you heard anything Ed?

Believable2 Unbelievable10

{Ed025's Note - no joss...sorry mate..

Not quite sure where you've got your information from. Adrían Lopez is 26 years old, 5'11" (hardly small) and has no idea where the net is (11 goals in 80 games). He's technically very gifted, but hopeless at finishing.

Any truth behind Oscar Cardozo rumours? he's only started a few games this season for benfica, he would be a terrific signing. Him and Canales in before deadline, COYB!

Believable6 Unbelievable13

{Ed025's Note - not very likely mate.

Were are these rumours coming from.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - mars?..

Why do we want him if hr only played a couple of games for a team in Portugal

Agree0 Disagree0

Canales is in talks with real sociedad.

Last night was a compete sickener, with a right slap in the face BANG we're back to reality!
Bottom line is and it pains me to admit it is they are better than us - they knew they could park the bus and hit us on the break with the strike force they've got,
We can't do that and when Lukaku came off we brought Naismith on - embarrassing really,
I'm not going to slag Naismith as he's a decent pro and can do a job against lower league sides, but against top teams he doesn't cut the mustard.
After half time Osman walks out, he's been great for us in the past but let's all be honest - his legs have well and truly gone.
Which brings me onto tactics, if your 0-3 down and you need to throw the kitchen sink at them and you turn to your bench looking for someone who's attack minded then there was only Mcgeedy not Osman, why the hell did Martinez leave him sat there till 15 mins to go? What's the point? I wouldn't have blamed Mcgeedy if he'd done a Tevez and told Martinez he's not coming on!
Martinez is supposed to be a great tactician, sorry not last night he wasn't!

Yes I've got a strop on today, I effing hate that RS!

Believable5 Unbelievable8

{Ed025's Note - to be honest baz, I thought Ossis was one if not THE best player last night...but like you I'm as sick as a sea going parrot mate..

Osman and mirrallas were the only 2 players who deserved the shirt!

Agree1 Disagree0

I agree Ed I also think Ossie & Mirallas were by far our best players, we were to loose at the back and I think I'm right saying Jags & Alcaraz haven't played together before competitively so with the players we had available we were always likely to struggle! If we get some of our players back we have a great chance of top six and a good cup run

Agree1 Disagree0

I'd say Mirallas can be proud and Osman and Barkley (he did as well as he could) can be pretty content with themselves. The rest shouldn't. But yeah, not just slagging off Naismith, as I do so love to do, but he wasn't the right man to come on. Mirallas should have been pushed central and McGeady on the wing. Naismith as Osman were never going to get us back in the game.

Agree0 Disagree1

Completely agree with everything martinez did last night. If he would of brought mcgeady on at ht, and we got beat 6/7-0 then you would have still had a go. I think ossie is great and everyone needs to get off his back!

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought ossie did well when he came on, in fact I would have started him as he was fully fit and Pienaar wasnt

Agree0 Disagree0

Jesus you can't blame ossie for this one ffs it was 3 0 down when he came on

Agree0 Disagree0
