So what the crack with Slimani? Is it true about the bid? Are we going to go back in with another? Would sporting sell? I know that a lot of questions I'm just wondering if you know? Kids on fire in front of goal atm 😃.

{Ed001's Note - yes, don't know but I would think so, yes if you pay enough.}

It's a shame we didn't take a punt on Austin at £4m!
Any news of Besic return? Seems to steady the ship when he is playing.

{Ed002's Note - Austin was never going to move to Everton. The club has not given an uipdate on Besic.}

Big follower of European Footballl and watched a few Sporting games this season. Slimani is deadly in the box and has that 'knack' of being in the right position. He's strong but also fast, he is not just a finisher either, he can assist and has good quick feet in tight situations. Would be a real coup in my opinion, would be positively surprised if we signed him.

According to talksport sporting won't sell in this transfer window because they going for league title he does have a 22 million release clause but that can only be activated in the summer but does look like a very good striker ed u know anything about the Ecuadorian striker being linked with us Miller bolanos he has 60 goals 96 starts in a weak league but plays for national team.

{Ed002's Note - The release clause is of zero relevance to English sides either now or in the summer. Sporting Lisbon are open to selling Islam Slimani at the right price but that is a considerable way from anything that has been offered.}

Ed002 just out of curiosity, why would Austin of never come to Everton. I'm not questioning you. Just curious as I said. Think he's a steal at £4m.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - He wanted to stay in the south.}

Oh god these stories from blues that went the city game. I myself only heard a bit of chanting on the way back to the coach but some of these stories are nothing short of disgusting now grown adults at man city told a 8 year old disabled boy his parents should have drowned him at birth now that's about the lowest one so far for me and people wonder why I don't want them to win this cup man city fans hang your head in shame you horrible gang of cretins

Can I just say well done to his father for not for not losing his rag and remembering he had his little man with him.

Spot on, though every fan has this selection of idiots. I remember at the Emirates when Arsenal fans were sitting above the Everton fans a few years ago and threw bottles, coins and all sorts even when there was kids there. As one of the eds said, hooliganism is returning, these fake hard men make me sick. Run away after the game but taunt an 8 year old kid going the game with his dad!? Why? Sickening. Sad really, I thought football was supposed to bring people together.
