Just read a paper claim we could be offering koeman 6 million a season. Now that says to me money talks. Then if that is the case, and we are just going to throw money at the problem. Why aren't we going for Diego Simeone, Emery, Pepe, Zidane, Moyse😄.

It's the rags. Don't get pulled in by their fantasies to sell papers.

Probably his agent trying to get him more money at southampton.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 May 2016 12:21:50
I know we don't know what's going on behind the scenes but it appears from the outside that Koeman is not to keen on us.
If we do get him I hope we find that behind the scenes he was desperate to come here and join our adventure, it would be a good start at least.
Maybe he's keeping quiet out of respect for Southampton, which would be admirable.
The whole Manager rumble is doing my head in.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - koeman is being very shrewd frank, he will not want to burn his bridges at St marys in case things go tits up mate..

29 May 2016 22:45:20
. various press outlets reporting tonight that Farhad Moshiri has offered Koeman £6 million a year contract to become next Everton manager. that's more than double what Southampton are offering, making the 4th highest paid manager in the Premier league. surely he won't turn this down will he?

Believable0 Unbelievable4

{Ed025's Note - its massive money if true soli, this is the club moving forward mate..

29 May 2016 22:59:45
. exciting times Ed. I thought things had gone quiet on the Koeman front but now I'm daring to dream.

Agree0 Disagree4

{Ed025's Note - lets hope its true and a statement of intent soli..

30 May 2016 01:20:14
6M is nothing to Moshiri, If he wants Koeman then I am not surprised. I just hope he does a 6M pound job for us.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 May 2016 07:22:59
Ed025 Koeman is a good Manager but his ambitions go further than us and that being said it is not as you say the Club moving forward but rather just a temporary gap in the traffic jam. If rumours are to be believed (and it has legs with a Manager of his calibre) we may only have one season with him - depending on Wengers plans. A better long term view in my opinion is Pellegrini or FDB. Oh and not Moyes, note Kenwrights PR move last night.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i would hope we would not be a stop gap for koeman BCT but i see where your coming from, that PR was for EFC mate and not BK imo..

30 May 2016 08:49:19
Ed0025

Looking at some polls 'talk sport' RK doesn't really figure in the Gunners fans plans at all, I get the impression the vast majority would want Simeone mate.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - then hopefully that will leave the way open for us 247, but there is also talk of him being lined up for barca as he has history there mate..

30 May 2016 14:04:14
Has anyone actually looked at Koeman's record? There's no chance whatsoever he'll go to Arsenal and Barcelona is just having a laugh. What has he actually done in 16 years as a manager that everyone is do so excited about?

Agree0 Disagree0

29 May 2016 22:01:06
Moyes at Goodson tonight for the fight with Bill, anything in this?

29 May 2016 23:00:18
no he was just there to watch.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - hes actually a good friend of tony,s, we dont argue much but we do on him bretto..

30 May 2016 09:19:02
There were boos from the street end when Moyes was being ushered back to his seat so I think if Kenwright wanted an idea of how the fans would react that was a taster. Big Duncan reception though that was amazing.

Just a crazy thought while we all wait. And wait. And wait some more.

interesting article from Foxsports about Simeone pondering his future. Apparently he wants to coach at Inter Milan before his career is over.

Simone to Inter and Mancini to Everton?

So Ian Wright reckons barkley could miss out on the euros squad that's no surprise seeing he took his club for with him shocking 20 min on friday and gave the ball away so many times hodgson was fuming on the touch line.

martinez let him get away with so much in games he does it naturally now and doesn't realise that he's doing things wrong due to no chastisement from martinez was no surprise unsy and big Joe left him out against norwich.

Believable1 Unbelievable2

29 May 2016 23:14:46
Martinez has ruined Barclay, held up the progress of Stones, stopped Delefeu developing, held Mcarthy back etc.

Agree4 Disagree0

29 May 2016 23:22:54
I like to blame Martinez for anything I can, but I think Barkley's decline is as much the fans fault as anyone's. The amount of stick Ross gets for the tiniest mistake is disgraceful. Sure, he gives the ball away a lot, and has faults, but he's gone from one of the most direct and destructive players in the league to a nervous wreck because no matter what he does, the fans get on his back.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i dont blame the fans or martinez AB i blame ross, we all know the talent the guy has but last season his lack of ball retention and wayward passing let him down, add to that his languid running style and lack of tracking back its no wonder supporters were less than happy, its funny though mate how people have a different take on what the problem is..

29 May 2016 23:43:00
ross is to top heavy, who the hell is training him, he is so muscled up he can hardly move these days.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - he does have an arse like a bombay money lender charlie.. :)

29 May 2016 13:35:30
Easyjet regret to announce that flight EZY7103 to Madrid will be delayed by 30 minutes. This is due to Mr Farhad Morishi having to be checked in via a back door due to the huge gathering of press and media outside the terminal. Wonder why lol.

Hi Ed, do the players have a holiday ect just wondered if maybe they might not be back training yet and is this another reason why maybe we are in no rush to appoint the new manager yet, I understand the importance of picking the right man, but just a lot of times a managers is sacked then within a week or so like utd they have a new man in place, obviously the new manager will want to see the players in training before he knows where he needs to strengthen, but if there not there ect,

Believable1 Unbelievable1

{Ed025's Note - they do have holidays jim and most of them are on them now, that will not have any effect on the new manager though mate..

29 May 2016 11:54:23
Not worried about those on holiday, it's those away on international duty with rival clubs coaches, players and agents putting ideas in our players heads.
Paranoid? Remember what happened to Barmby.

Agree2 Disagree0

29 May 2016 13:06:20
Jim I'm sorry in advance for this comment mate really don't mean to offend but.

"Do the players have a holiday" come on mate really.

Utd new Manager is Mourinho who has been stabbing LVG in the back since he was sacked by Chelsea. Some of you need to have patience you really do.

29 May 2016 10:16:37
What if we've been waiting for the championship play offs to finish before naming our next gaffer!
Steve Bruce anyone? LOL
This is Everton though so maybe not laugh out loud, just in case!

Believable0 Unbelievable8

29 May 2016 13:07:50
I can't believe anyone in there right mind would have Bruce as a premiership manager, look how many times he's been relegated with a team.

Agree1 Disagree0

29 May 2016 13:50:08
Jim how is it you know how many times Bruce has been relegated but you are totally unaware that players don't have a summer break not having a go but your baffling me here are you pi$$ed😃🍻.

29 May 2016 08:45:13
Hi ed, following on from the CL result last night and Simeone's following comments regarding his future. What do you think are the chances of the board making contact with him?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - i cant see him leaving to be honest SB, its unfair to ask a guy about his future when he has just lost a major final but that sums up the press i suppose mate..

29 May 2016 13:28:18
I had £20 At 40s this morning, he's now 20/ 1, must be fancied.

Telegraph says Everton to hold talks with Emery in next 72 hours hope so.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

29 May 2016 10:21:48
Dave they published that story 7 days ago, haven't repeated it since and as far as we know, it hasn't happened.

This rumour also in Sunday Express.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 May 2016 13:26:18
I heard that the picture regards Emery was to become clearer after the champions league final and that he has interest in managing in the premier league, we will soon see though.
Whoever gets the role I think every Evertonian needs to get behind him and the team for the coming season, even if they are not our choice we should give our support!

Agree2 Disagree0

29 May 2016 07:42:42
I really think pellegrini is going to be appointed our new manager in the next couple of days not to sure about him though just have to wait and see.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

29 May 2016 07:23:23
Psg want lukaku would prefer if he went to France tbh please not man united or Chelsea couldn't handle him scoring against us next season.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

29 May 2016 07:40:39
Paul

It's a daunting thought alright, nevertheless as long they pay through the nose for him the pressure on 'billy big balls' will be massive next season, like an anvil round his neck, I somehow don't think he can handle that mate .

Agree7 Disagree0

29 May 2016 11:40:03
Rom is a good premiership striker and he'll score shedloads in a relatively weak French league, but at Champions League level I think his lack of tschnique will be found out. I think we will play better football without him and have better forward movement.
I think we may have a little gem in Shani Tarashaj.

Agree1 Disagree1

29 May 2016 03:48:45
The Edin Dzeko rumors have been picking up lately.

Any truth to them? Would really love to see him at the club.
He was underused at City and didn't adapt well to the Italian game.
Great in the air, good with his feet, finishers instinct

Maybe having Mo Bešiç would convince him

Thoughts.
