Just read a paper claim we could be offering koeman 6 million a season. Now that says to me money talks. Then if that is the case, and we are just going to throw money at the problem. Why aren't we going for Diego Simeone, Emery, Pepe, Zidane, Moyse😄.

I know we don't know what's going on behind the scenes but it appears from the outside that Koeman is not to keen on us.
If we do get him I hope we find that behind the scenes he was desperate to come here and join our adventure, it would be a good start at least.
Maybe he's keeping quiet out of respect for Southampton, which would be admirable.
The whole Manager rumble is doing my head in.

. various press outlets reporting tonight that Farhad Moshiri has offered Koeman £6 million a year contract to become next Everton manager. that's more than double what Southampton are offering, making the 4th highest paid manager in the Premier league. surely he won't turn this down will he?

Ed025 Koeman is a good Manager but his ambitions go further than us and that being said it is not as you say the Club moving forward but rather just a temporary gap in the traffic jam. If rumours are to be believed (and it has legs with a Manager of his calibre) we may only have one season with him - depending on Wengers plans. A better long term view in my opinion is Pellegrini or FDB. Oh and not Moyes, note Kenwrights PR move last night.

Has anyone actually looked at Koeman's record? There's no chance whatsoever he'll go to Arsenal and Barcelona is just having a laugh. What has he actually done in 16 years as a manager that everyone is do so excited about?

There were boos from the street end when Moyes was being ushered back to his seat so I think if Kenwright wanted an idea of how the fans would react that was a taster. Big Duncan reception though that was amazing.

So Ian Wright reckons barkley could miss out on the euros squad that's no surprise seeing he took his club for with him shocking 20 min on friday and gave the ball away so many times hodgson was fuming on the touch line.

martinez let him get away with so much in games he does it naturally now and doesn't realise that he's doing things wrong due to no chastisement from martinez was no surprise unsy and big Joe left him out against norwich.

I like to blame Martinez for anything I can, but I think Barkley's decline is as much the fans fault as anyone's. The amount of stick Ross gets for the tiniest mistake is disgraceful. Sure, he gives the ball away a lot, and has faults, but he's gone from one of the most direct and destructive players in the league to a nervous wreck because no matter what he does, the fans get on his back.

{Ed025's Note - i dont blame the fans or martinez AB i blame ross, we all know the talent the guy has but last season his lack of ball retention and wayward passing let him down, add to that his languid running style and lack of tracking back its no wonder supporters were less than happy, its funny though mate how people have a different take on what the problem is..

Easyjet regret to announce that flight EZY7103 to Madrid will be delayed by 30 minutes. This is due to Mr Farhad Morishi having to be checked in via a back door due to the huge gathering of press and media outside the terminal. Wonder why lol.

Hi Ed, do the players have a holiday ect just wondered if maybe they might not be back training yet and is this another reason why maybe we are in no rush to appoint the new manager yet, I understand the importance of picking the right man, but just a lot of times a managers is sacked then within a week or so like utd they have a new man in place, obviously the new manager will want to see the players in training before he knows where he needs to strengthen, but if there not there ect,

I heard that the picture regards Emery was to become clearer after the champions league final and that he has interest in managing in the premier league, we will soon see though.
Whoever gets the role I think every Evertonian needs to get behind him and the team for the coming season, even if they are not our choice we should give our support!

Rom is a good premiership striker and he'll score shedloads in a relatively weak French league, but at Champions League level I think his lack of tschnique will be found out. I think we will play better football without him and have better forward movement.
I think we may have a little gem in Shani Tarashaj.

The Edin Dzeko rumors have been picking up lately.

Any truth to them? Would really love to see him at the club.
He was underused at City and didn't adapt well to the Italian game.
