It may be old news but I was in Glasgow today and according to a former employee of Rangers Steven Naismith has his heart set on signing for Everton (and has wanted it to happen ever since we signed Jelavic)...

Believable21 Unbelievable8

Been told he has passed his medical and along as we can agree terms he will sign before the weekend!

everton set for kalou on a free

Believable13 Unbelievable39

Now that would be nice but i cant see it!!

Agree0 Disagree0

What source? Can we afford his wage demands?

Agree0 Disagree0

He will want at least 100 grand a week plus a big signing on fee so cant see this happening

Agree0 Disagree0

As if kalou is worth a 100 grand a week!!! if he has any sense he would take a wage cut to guarantee himself first team football sumwere. i certainly wouldn't be happy to pay him that amount hasn't really proved too much over the years

Sorry eds, everton fans, rs fans. Had a look on scotish sun newspaper, it says Naismith had is medical on Saturday and he is set to sign by the end of the week. Make up your own mind

There should be a rule that you can't quote that rag. {Ed025's Note - i agree mate..

Naismith has passed his medical
Source - The Scottish Sun {Ed025's Note - i cant even check that...as anything to do with that scum bag rag is taboo, as far as i am concerned..

Believable14 Unbelievable8

The S*n. Wouldn't wipe my arse with that rag.

Agree1 Disagree0

Just checked it out it's true

Jc

Agree1 Disagree1

That story was their this morning before everton came out and denied any medical had taken place, so it's old news.

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought it was the Herald not the s*n

im guessing we hav a 10 mill transfer budget so for me, naismith free, pienaar 4 mill, moses 6 mill + anichebe, and adam johnson on loan

Believable15 Unbelievable24

Where are we getting this £10 million from. Unless one of Baines or Fellaini leaves there is no funds.

Agree1 Disagree0

Ild be very surprised if we have a £1m transfer budget..

Agree1 Disagree1

Dont want moses anyway, come on whats he done really , a few good performances for wigan doesnt make him a superstar {Ed025's Note - i really like the guy...but £12m?..thats a bit steep..

Agree0 Disagree1

£10m. ha . Moyes will be lucky to get £1m of Bill.

Agree0 Disagree0

This is not a rumour, it's not really Everton banter either, it's just some little drip playing fantasy football so why's it on here?

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh no please stop it!
We have max 2m from Yobo and cant get anyone for that fee going to signon fees for new players and wages instead.

Agree0 Disagree0

Defo not getting moses

Agree1 Disagree1

There is no such thing as a free transfer! Players demand signing on fees plus agent fees! So if we have 10 million we would not be able to sign all these. For example Yobo cost fenebache approx 750000 for season loan!

Why would Steven Caulker want to sign for Everton ? Kyle Naughton is possible.

Believable6 Unbelievable31

As an Everton fan I would love to see Caulker at Everton he was outstanding last season on loan at Swansea city. And still very young. I would take both of these.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why wouldn't caulker want to sign for a massive club like everton

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Jul 2012 19:44:24
Steven Pienaar will not be signing for Everton unless they sell either Fellaini or Baines.

Believable9 Unbelievable36

Wtf? that doesn't make any sense? why on earth would we sell a player worth 25m or a player worth 20m to fund a move for a player who plays on the wing (different position than the other 2) that is worth 5m? come on lad use your common sense

Agree0 Disagree0

Why? firstly we have the money to buy him (5 mill) and secondly he definitely wont join if baines leaves because their partnership is immense

Agree0 Disagree0

How do you know he won't join if Baines leaves are we a one man team now?

Agree0 Disagree0

So you have just completly contradicted yourself.. Why would he sign on the basis we sell baines if as you say thier partnership is immense??

Agree0 Disagree0

It was in the Echo tonight. Go and check if you don't believe me. Danijel Pranjic is being signed instead.

Agree0 Disagree0

I did say that the s**te fillter was not working, suguest you see who buck rodgers is going to have to sell to buy anyone, although i do hear the guy who does the blackpool donkey rides has made a good offer for a mr carroll.

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolute tosh, read the echo properly not between the lines

Agree0 Disagree0

If the partnership with Baines really mattered to him that much then he wouldn't have left in the first place.

Agree1 Disagree0

What planet are u on are normal stratergy....
Baines 2 peanuts baines overlap to baines and in2 felliani or jellyfish

Agree0 Disagree0

It's not rocket science that, another player could do the same job.

Agree1 Disagree0

Where will we get the money to buy Pienaar, if we dont sell Baines or Fellaini then.

Agree0 Disagree0

At this level it is rocket science - who else can cross the ball like Baines ?

Agree0 Disagree0

We'll get the money because we will have at least 5 million! And we can also sell fringe players to raise funds and not sell our best players

Naismith defiantly due at finch farm tommorow morning, hearing this on twitter

Believable23 Unbelievable10

Because it says so on twitter then it must be true then hey

Mike

Agree0 Disagree0

Another transfer dragging on. We can't organise a pee up in a brewery. Why does it take everton so long to do things {Ed025's Note - get a grip mate.. the window is open for 2 months...we have,nt had 2 days yet!!

Hmm.. not sure the words twitter and definitely should be in the same sentence .... ever!

Wigan did originally bid £6 million for Anichibe but Everton haggled hard and got them down to £3 million.

Believable36 Unbelievable8

At least have the decency to spell his name right you silly R/S.

J0hn80y

Agree0 Disagree0

So would you, trading standards can come down very hard on offenders selling sub standerd goods.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not rs mate I've supported Everton for 46 years and was trying to inject a bit of humour amongst all the doom and gloom of the Baines rumours, get down to Netto, I've heard they're selling sense of humours for a quid each, you could do with one. {Ed025's Note - i thought it was quite funny..

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought it was the text of the day

Agree1 Disagree0

Why did we get them down 2 3mill why not six rs

Agree1 Disagree0

This could actually be true. Big smile ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Always one bad apple in the barrel. Get a life mate and stop calling the poster rs, its like one of the biggest insults you can use on this site.

Rumours if Naismith failing his medic are true he is now considering an offer from Blackburn
Sources from Blackburn who I have a close connection with
DJK

Believable8 Unbelievable37

He hasn't failed his medical he is set to join tommorow

Agree1 Disagree0

Lad get off mate hes going to sign for everton

Agree0 Disagree0

Where does this sh*te come from... IF he had failed a medical why on earth would he consider blackburn when there is a host of premier league clubs interested in him?! Why make stuff up?

Agree0 Disagree0

Kopite alert

Agree0 Disagree0

See the s**te fillter is not yet working

Agree0 Disagree0

I take it he will pass his medical at Blackburn then? How does that work ?

Agree0 Disagree0

WARNING!!!! KOPITE ALERT.....

Agree0 Disagree1

So its harder to pass the medical at Everton? What are Blackburn up to. Logic?

So all you know, Landon Donovan is NOT grandfathered in. In 2010 MLS stated it was unfair for the LA Galaxy to basically have 4 designated players while every other club at 3. So the changed the rule so that he must be counted as one of the 3 designated players. Look it up

Believable21 Unbelievable4

Eh.....grandfathered in?

Agree0 Disagree0

This is correct i missed that line of text when I was looking it up the other day.

ToffeeAL

Agree1 Disagree0

His new deal in 2010, nullified the clause, you sir are correct, he is indeed one of the 3

Agree0 Disagree0

Does anyone know what he is ment to be on wages wise?

EverTheOptimistic

Agree0 Disagree0

No but since we got him on loan it should be affordable.

Agree0 Disagree0

He is on 2.2 million US a season according to a report published in the NY Times....

i over heard m owens dad say to his mate his son wants to sign for everton but we will only offer pay as you play deal

Believable4 Unbelievable40

I'd have him on a pay as you play deal but only if he NEVER played ;)

Wizard of Osman

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would we want that bench warmer! he should drop down to the championship! {Ed025's Note - i agree mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Say what you want about him but when he does play he finds the back of the net so not a bad player to have in reserve if its pay as you play

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance of Owen signing for everton

Agree0 Disagree0

A packet of walkers and a bag of jelly babies each time he comes on as sub is a fair offer.

We sold Rooney because he wanted to go not because of the money, we sold lescott because he wanted to go, we sold arteta because he wanted to go the club said they wanted to keep all these players and it wasn't down to the money. Well baines has said he doesn't want to go he has 3 yrs on his contract so let's see if he is sold and see if it's for the money or will they come out and blame baines.

Believable31 Unbelievable6

Yeah the club absolutely do not have a reputation of setting players as scapegoats and selling them ,rolling out bill to say how he begged the player to stay but they just wouldn't sign, they were greedy, blah blah blah. Ifthe offers big enough we will sell, phill green and the banks control our club they say who stays, who goes and how much for.

Agree1 Disagree0

Them three players did want to leave rooney&lescott put in transfer requests and arteta took a pay cut to join arsenal if man utd offer 18 million 4 baines we'd be mad not to take it

Agree0 Disagree0

All those players at some point have gave interviews to confirm they wanted out. The strange anti kenwright fans are trying to make up reason not to like him. I pitty them they actually must like hating the club they profess to love.

Rumours coming out of finch farm is that steven naismith failed his medical on saturday and has asked the club not to make it public as he hopes to find a club more likely to take a risk on him. On the plus side it is belived man utd have pulled out of a move for baines citing excessive asking price

Believable6 Unbelievable39

But then he would fail another medical... So that would be pointless..............

TC

Agree0 Disagree0

No names eds and tc I smell rs

Jc {Ed025's Note - that would not surprise me mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

I don,t believe this perticular rumour! but did,nt BA , fail a medical at stoke before he went to west ham, I bet tony pullis slapped! the clubs doctors all over the shop!

Agree1 Disagree0

As I normally say to people who know me, What The Fudge?! Kopites go back to your pointless site.

Everton are waiting till spurs name a manager (most likely avb) as moyes is interested in bringing defensive duo Steven Caulker and Kyle Naughton to Goodison park,

Believable13 Unbelievable20

No way would Spurs sell Caulker, the lad is going to be a top class CB, and CB is a major issue for Spuds, not a chance. Cant see a loan either as it would be pointless as he would be 4th choice at the club.

As for Naughton, hope so, but don't see it, think priority is Pienaar and all the money we gather would go on him

Agree0 Disagree0

Source?

Agree0 Disagree1

Has dawson, kaboul, Vertonghen and possibly king ahead of him and is wating for the new manager to find where he stands as he wants to play more games like he did at swansea the same is with naughton who feels he has not had an opportunity at spurs and wants to leave. also there have been rumours of heitinga leaving for 8 million

Agree1 Disagree0

I would love to get the two of them but I feel that their prospects may make the transfer fee a little too high.

Bobcat

Agree0 Disagree0

Naughton signed a permanent with Norwich in Winter so am thinking somebodies making up porkies again!

Agree0 Disagree0

Think you will find Naughton never signed a permanent with Norwhich and Spuds want 6mil for him

Agree0 Disagree0

Has not signed with Norwich at all why would they sign whittaker, he is still at spurs

Anichebe to Huddersfield plus cash for Jordan Rhodes -
O Azul

Believable15 Unbelievable27

Best deal ever LOL

Agree1 Disagree0

Moyes does not do part exchange deals....

Agree0 Disagree0

I think that would be good move I would offer 2m plus Anichibe and add ons such as percentage sell on, games played and goals scored Anichibie would be fantastic at a lower level

Agree0 Disagree0

Anichebe, if he goes anywhere would be going to Wigan.

Agree1 Disagree0

As long as anichebe goes it doesnt matter which club as long as he is gone

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't slag him off I agree he is not good enough for us but he is a good player and will do decent job for champ team or
Small prem team don't forget he got us 6 points this season without his goal a which we beat west brom 0-1 and there was another game where he scored the winner can't remember who it was agains

Hot News Everton accept big of around 1.7m for Victor Anichibe from Huddersfield Town. He is in West Yorkshire on Tuesday to complete the deal.

Believable13 Unbelievable22

Hope this is true but cant see big vic going to huddersfield, we know hes not good enough for the prem, but he still thinks he can cut it, so I think if hes going to move it will prob be to a prem club.

ewefc

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be good for everyone (Anichebe, Huddersfield and Everton). [AO]

Agree0 Disagree0

Straight swap for Rhodes...I dont believe this...

Agree0 Disagree0

How is that good news 1.7 mil is a joke compared to what the sh*t got for n'gog should a least be getting 3 mil

Agree1 Disagree1

Looks like the bully boys have won the battle against Anichebe, i can't stand the moaners at Goodison Park. Who's it going to be next? Rodwell?
Steve The Roofer.

Agree1 Disagree1

For £1.7 mil I'll drive him over there myself.

Friend inside goodison has told me baines will only be sold if over 20m is offered utd will only pay 15m so it looks like he is staying. set to leave is big vic a fee of 3m has been agreed with wigan dependant on moses being sold. Tim cahill won't be transfered this summer unless we receive 3m. Players coming in are naismith (free) pienaar (4m) and dependant on big vic money a move for lukaku could be on
