i really hope walshy and co pull a january miracle off, it will be hard enough getting the right players in, and if we want them so will many other clubs. thought ronnie would have stuck with the same team tonight, hard one for the young lads to get into tonight, maybe a start for one them the next game because they couldn't be any worse than what we have seen in the last 2 games, ah well, happy new year everyone :-)

Agree southern toffee Davies is great just look at the inpact Davies had on Barkley he seemed to know Davies first thought was to pass forward but a lot more quicker as well think if Davies gets a few starts consecutively we would see a lot better performance from barkley.

It seems Gerard Deulofeu will be leaving Everton in Jan for AC Milan either on loan or on a perm a deal.

Agree ed no great loss but a big shame as the lad has so much talent shame he can't fullfil his potential with us but the rumour about AC Milan is i think a load of crap never believe what comes out of Italian rumour websites sealand.

He is another that frustrates you. So much talent but not a real team player. if he leaves I wish him all the best as I would with anyone leaving, but I really hope he could turn out to be the player he thinks he is and what we hope he is here.

Not a massive loss at the moment. At the same time I would not be one bit surprised if he still turns out to be top class. Like a regular on one of the top teams in Champions league.

Can't help thinking he's not overly suited to the premiership. His style is more suited to Spain or Italy imho.

Yet another young player full of potential but seemingly not fulfilling it!
The question you ask is it down to coaching or are they just not good enough?
Perhaps we read to much into the fact he was from Barca's academy and he didn't make it there, however he is still in the Spanish U21's.

Spain's U21's biggest scorer of all time if I'm not mistaken. Hope he does go on to improve.

We finished 5th in martinez 1st year and I can't help thinking it's because our team still had the moyes grit and tactics amongst them. The 2nd year was a disaster. This would suggest this bunch of players need about a season to grasp a change in style. Hopefully Koeman can turn the likes of miralas, del boy and Ross into his style of player. Koeman has said he isn't looking to sell in January so let's hope these 3 can change their game.

Agree with NB, think his game is more suited to Spain or Italy. His stamina is questionable and he doesn't like the defensive side, no big loss if he goes but will wish him well.
