News is that Jelavic is to be revealed tomorrow subject to medical. Clubs agree 7mil plus add ons and Jelavic agrees 4 year deal. Moyes wants to add Manolas for defensive cover and cerci on loan from fiorentina. Best thing about all this transfer talk is seeing all the haters squirm!! Ok, I've had a afew bits of information on the Jelavic negotiations, some seem reliable and others not quite as much, but there are three different sources giving me the same figures. It's basically looking like £9M up front with an add on of £1M if Jelavic has a goal to game ratio of equal to or more than 2.5.

Right now, I am like a fat kid with cake, really excited to see who we sign. Long time since we had any excitement in the transfer window.

If we get Jelavic, I dont see the point in Castaignos. Jelavic would be the main man, then the likes of Saha, Anichebe and Stracq. I dont see the point of a 19yr old playing behind those, would rather give game time to Vellios than the Castaignos.

Manolas deal looking to be finalised with £419.000 bid on the table. It is in competition with a further bid. Manolas bid may prove to be good business if we fight competition off. Tracking him for a while.

Jelavic looks to be on track for deal but I would love it (in the words of Keegan) if we snapped Hoilett up. Young talent, direct with pace. Probably the best player on the pitch vs Blackburn recently and displays have looked promising.

Baines / Hoilett down the left!! Jelavic to slot...

Unless Rodwell is sold, or another of our bigger players, we stand no chance of Jelavic and Hoilett signing. Hoilett will cost 4.2mil if Blackburn allow his contract to run out. That will be around 10mil, and i definetly dont think we have that kind of money. I mean the 6mil for Jelavic is a big surprise in itself.

I would love us to sign him, not only is he a quality player but he's young and has so much potential! He's the type of player we need.

just a friendly warning guys if you sign the jellyfish from the forces of darkness dont pin all your hopes on him yes he will score goals but is a disruptive influence in the dressing room ie today he's demanding to be sold at castlegreyskull his last club rapid vienna he went on strike to force his transfer he is also as quick as a month of wet sundays in rhyl and last week he was desperate to sign for your city rivals as he has always supported them., you deserve better than him.

Ranger fans shouldnt really be all surprised by his actions. When he signed, he said he had his eyes set on the Prem League from the start. He just wants his dream move to the Prem League, happens all the time.

For the right price (under 5-6mil) would be a good buy for Everton.

Is it true that Moyes is lining up that Guillaume Hoarau from PSG on loan? Would be a cracking signing in my opinion. {Ed025's Note - he is good... but with the imminent signing of jelavic, i doubt that we will sign 2 forwards..

Surely he is better than anything we have at the club at the moment. And on loan, surely cant hurt.

If you remember i posted ages ago big felli signing a new contract i few people had a go at me but i was proved correct thanks to the many people who stuck up for me now to todays post
I was told late last night (by the same source who told me about Fellaini signing the new contract) that rangers have accepted our bid for jelavic last night and he is having a medical today {Ed025's Note - i think we all knew about tea time mate..

Morning Ed we new that a bid was put in but did not know it had been accepted is he any good don't know much about him {Ed025's Note - i think he is very good..only time will tell whether he fits into our style, but in my opinion he is quality..

According to everyone news now page jelly has demanded that ranger accept the offer from everton so looks like he's trying to force a move to our wonderful club!
