This is probably just paper drivel but we're linked to the atalanta midfielder frank kessie. Now I watch a lot of italia football and this kid is very very good. creative and caries a goal threat from midfield.
Any of the eds know If there's any truth in this?

{Ed002's Note - Juventus have opened discussions with Atalanta over Franck Kessie who has been watched by Manchester City, Chelsea, Napoli, Liverpool, Monaco, Manchester City and Roma (and probably others) this season and whilst on loan at Cesena last season. Seville, who looked to taking Kessie in the summer under the Cotonou Agreement would have the benefit of not having the work permit issue that the English sides would have unless they paid well over the odds for the player.}

Ok papers are getting ridiculous now with links to Sissoko! Surely let's just be glad we dodged the bullet on that one especially after his comments in the press after his move!

Agreed Southern Toffee. Although I wouldn't say no for say £15m. He'd probably be worth a punt then.

I know the articles I have read say Spurs would have to look at taking a loss on him but I doubt Levy would take that much of a loss! It would be like us signing a striker for £13.5m and selling for a couple of million!
Oh wait! That's what we do! Niasse and previously Bilyaletdinov spring to mind!
😳.

If he came in and put in a stint then yes maybe but to repair the way he spoke when joining Spurs about us it would need to be one hell of a good stint and I just don't think he has the right attitude to do it! Best move on, I'd prefer Will Hughes for £15m!

Levy is too tight to take a big hit on him. Maybe a loan with an option to buy might suit us. Although i'd rather sign someone else instead.
