Hearing lookman should be confirmed by the weekend. Hopefully we can wrap up a deal for morgan early too but I know we are a bit off on this one from what ed mentioned.

Hi guys don't know if you noticed lukaku yesterday but he never celabrated any of are goals not even his own seemed to be in some kind of mood that was highlited in the penalty melee between him baines and Coleman talked about it in the boozer later and lads were saying park end were going off there heads over his attitude.

I did notice this as well but just assumed he was miffed with the chances he missed prior. Has he signed the contract extension yet? I thought it was 99% done?
I hope he's not playing silly begged again as it's a transfer window again.

As long as he keeps scoring goals who cares. Perhaps a few others should try it, might not have to rely on one man getting the goals all the time.

Best striker we've had for a long time and 'fans' still obsessed with nit picking little things. Maybe he didn't celebrate because it was 3-0 game over? His job is to score goals which he does as Woburn said, not to satisfy your ridiculous expectations to run around kneesliding.

Enjoy him whilst he here's, we'll miss him when he's gone.

Agree1 Disagree2

04 Jan 2017 10:23:54
Keep saying that. He'll stop scoring when the window closes as per usual and everyone else will get the blame.

If you watched the video of Baines' penalty you can see Lukaku clapping the goal with his hands above his head so he did acknowledge it just didn't go crazy with the celebrations. Some fans make too much out of nothing.
Wellzee.

Best striker we've had since Dunc but with a better scoring record, yet some fans still constantly question him!
The way I see it is he came to us for a big fee, from a top 4 club and probably feels he had unfinished business there still! However each year he delivers in his return of goals, he will move on if we cannot improve as a team to the level he aspires to play at, so some question his ability, loyalty and performances, yet these are the same fans that want Rooney back!
He is one of the best in the premiership at what he does, if we sell him it will be for an amount we cannot spend to replace him!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i think your right wakka..

04 Jan 2017 22:55:49
I agree wakka although I think there is one small issue with the Rooney thing. Difference is Rooney had the option to stay at Everton or play for Utd. Lukaku on the other hand didn't have much of an option.

I'm not knocking Lukaku and totally agree even if we got £65m we would find it extremely hard to replace him with that money.

Hi Ed some rags now saying that Geri will force a move away, surely its down to Everton whether he goes or stays cheers, GuernseyBlue.

Believable0 Unbelievable2

{Ed001's Note - Everton are open to selling him, it is not him forcing a move at all. He is seen as a saleable commodity.}

03 Jan 2017 18:20:33
Witsel off to China, so that's another one we can move on from now.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

03 Jan 2017 20:38:02
We moved on from Witsel a long time ago. Journo's just kept regurgitating old news for something to report.

Ed have we been in contact/ discussions with Man Utd over Memphis depay? Thanks in advance.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - Yes but Manchester United will look to sell and not loan Depay and right now Everton see the associated risk of taking him on and prefer a loan.}

03 Jan 2017 18:29:09
Thanks ed. I think it would be a good move for him. I remember you saying a couple of years ago a move to a abigger club was not a wise move for him and a club like Newcastle at the time would be ideal. I think we would be the ideal club for him and could find his feet again because for some reason some evertonians just love to get on lukaku and Ross's back when lukaku has a amazing goal record for a club like us at this moment in time maybe in 4 5 years we will have a better team and demand more effort rather than just goals but his goals are keeping us up the higher end of the table. Can you see a deal happening for depay with us.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Any move should be a good move but there is a risk and the idea of a loan makes a lot of sense. Certainly a "maybe" as other interested sides only want a loan or are of no interest to him.}

Cheers again e d.

{Ed002's Note - You are welcome Eddy.}

{Ed025's Note - im sure he will have mate..

03 Jan 2017 18:53:53
Anything more on Sebastian Rudy? Or the Russian lad?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Sebastian Rudy has set his heart on a move to Bayern Munich (where he will be lucky to get any sort of regular place). Talks with Southampton and Swansea about Alan Dzagoev have happened - but Bob Bradley has now gone.}

03 Jan 2017 20:57:19
So neither are on our radar, thanks Ed.

We offer 19million after wBA offered 18,just pay the 24 million and get him in now .

Believable3 Unbelievable2

03 Jan 2017 14:13:18
£18m seems pretty fair to me, why throw money away when the player wants to come to us? There's a few clubs greedily eyeing up Moshiri's wallet, United are just playing the game same as us.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - united are considering offers from abroad as well stevo, a couple of the bigger sides want him on loan with a view to buy so its up to us now mate if we pay the fee..

03 Jan 2017 15:12:01
Ed do you nthink we should just pay the asking fee, then if he wants to come he will and if not, on to the next target. to much messing around when he could be in the squad ready to go after the fa cup game.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - I am not so sure it is that simple Dazza. A representative from Marseille was at West Ham as a guest of Manchester United yesterday - and they have been discussing Schneiderlin and the meeting was arranged prior to Everton speaking to Manchester United about the player. Everton made the approach on Saturday apparently and they made a bid (possibly on Sunday) that was slightly more than the bid of West Brom. Right now neither are of interest to Manchester United. Marseille want to take MS on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season rather than bundle up the cash and pay up front. At this time the details have not been proposed in writing but Marseille have an idea of what it might take to make something happen so it should not be discounted. Additionally there has been a tentative enquiry with his agent from Juventus - but I suspect we can put that to one side for now. A discussion about a loan to Inter Milan has also been held between the clubs - angain not to be discounted. For now I would expect Everton and West Brom to be thinking about a higher bid. Marseille will decide if they wish to put a package together this week. All of this could prompt Inter in to doing something. So we will have to wait and see.}

03 Jan 2017 15:41:29
We needs to pay the price and then it's up to Morgan to knock back other teams. If the media can be believed he wants to come to everton and is settled in the northwest. We do our part and meet the price and he does his and we should be right.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - It doesn't work quite like that.}

03 Jan 2017 15:53:03
Eds if we're to offer the full amount upfrnt, in your opinion would man utd deal or is the preferred option to sell him abroad.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - im not really sure fanatic, marseille, juve, and milan are preparing a deal for him which involves a loan to buy package, united want the £25m they paid for him and as of now we have offered £19m, it could go any way at this stage mate..

03 Jan 2017 16:08:55
Then we need to pay the asking price and see eds. the balls in Uniteds court then.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - im with you mate..

03 Jan 2017 19:05:10
I would just pay the amount, Jose is still smarting from the tough stance on Stones, if we want him just pay it, there's not a chance Jose will take a penny less.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - It really doesn't work like that.}

03 Jan 2017 20:44:12
It depends on whether the powers that be at EFC believe Schneiderlin's worth the "alleged" £25m Utd want for him, and also where the lad wants to go. A game of bluff and counter bluff at the moment.
