If strikers are hard to get in January and better to wait until summer, then short term we could have done a lot worse than give Defoe a half year loan.

Bad move for Everton, would have preferred McCarthy here, unlike previous times were we played the guy as soon as he was fit, we could have gradually given him short bursts from the bench to allow Gomes rest time, until he was back up to speed, letting very good player go if we accept the loan deal.

What so digne hasn't proven he's prem ready? Also gomes, yeah he had a shocker last match, but up until then he was the best player on the pitch even when we were getting beat. Mina hasn't been given fair amount of time for us to judge, but he's already scored more than 2 of our strikers.
Lay off the team guys. The team is struggling for confidence as it is. Get behind them!
Malcolm would be an exceptional signing, but brands will have to work his magic!
Still need a bludy striker, Tammy might be coming back from loan to Chelsea. He might not be a bad shout.
By the way, would love to see DCL and lookman start in the cup!

I would actually like to see DCL and Tosun, DCL coming from the right (Walcot making way) . Bernard starting in place of Siggy. Have a feeling Gomez and Bernard would play well together as Bernard can play through the middle or both flanks. Don't hold with putting the kids out against Lincoln, as we need a boost of confidence.

I would say Mina has been hit and miss but I feel he will improve
Digne and Gomes have both been a revelation in my honest opinion.

Southern toffee you can loan a maximum of 2 players from 1 club so if we interested we could make a move for him but not sure if he can be loaned out twice in a single season maybe one of the eds can shed some light on it.

Yep one player one club. Brands has said he will not buy for the sake of buying (sensible) , so confidence in Gomez quite high as is the price, confidence in Zouma - not sure. Confidence to put in a bid on Batshuayi - not sure.
