Apparantley bookies are saying we are favourites for Demba Ba
He's actually on his way back to Newcastle for 5m so bookies odds mean nothing.
Lets just hope that the bookies are wrong. don't want a player who only plays 1 in 3 games because of a dodgy knee

I have heard we have made a bid today of 7m for james milner
Id do that. Milner is a great right midfielder and can hold the ball and start moves, something we were shy of last season despite the improvements. 7m seems cheap.

He's a good centre mid, but not worth £7m, and we should definitely not put him on the wing again.
I'd pay 7m for him. He's versatile and can play anywhere from attacking winger, central midfield to right back. If City are prepared to sell, let's get in their first.

Why get so angry about a story that another club may have approached Everton about the availability of one of the players? The story was that the approach was rejected out of hand and the player wouldn't be going anywhere. I'm certain that Everton approach other clubs about the availability of players - how else do you think transfers are agreed between clubs? Just be thankful that - as RM has made abundantly clear - we are under no financial pressure to transfer players and will only move players on for football reasons.
Not being funny cowpat sid but I didn't get angry, just putting it up there for everyone posting about it could see where it was from, sure that's the whole point of this site, no need to get angry over my input on the site?

Alvaro Negredo strongly linked to a move to Everton. Unhappy at City. Ex Everton target only a season ago.
I read Spurs were weighing up a bid for him mate. City will want 25 mill for him, we can't afford that for Lukaku so I don't think we can get Negredo all doh I think he is a cracking player.
I would love to have him at Everton. can't really see it happening, but I will keep hoping just incase.
We've got more chance of signing God.
