Gerarrd D states on spanish radio that he wants to be back at Barcelona next year.
Not sure if he's ready for Barca 1st team but wish him all the best if he is.
If Barca feel he needs another year away hopefully it will he with us.
{Ed025's Note - lets be honest, he is a decent player, but nowhere near getting within a mile of barca,s first team, it would benefit him more to stay with us for another year AW in my opinion mate..
He's nowhere near good enough for Barca's first team, and I don't think he's good enough for ours, either. He'd be better off going to a mid table Spanish team like Celta or Elche where he will get more playing time in the right league.
{Ed025's Note - barca seem to think our bobby is a man to trust with their youngsters AB, lets hope they continue to think that, and supply us with a few more..

gerard deulofeu is as talented a young man you're going to see, his pace, his low crosses, his close control and brilliant runs with the ball are all fantastic attributes to have, but his passing, knowing when to release the ball and his finishing all need to improve, he won't improve sitting on the barca bench, I would love him to stay here as he is a better option than either mcgeady or pienaar, but we can't have players who are not commited and who don't play for the shirt, if he doesn't want to play for us then go, just go, someone just as exciting will come in and hopefully they may show a bit more gratitude, if you don't want to be here, don't bother, i'm sure there are plenty of talented youngsters seeing what we have done with gerard and romelu and would kill for the chance they've been given
I would like to see us start pushing a few of our own youngsters through to the first team bench an giving them chances after all we have got some of the best youths around apparently and maybe in a few years we could have a good quality young squad instead of taking everyone else kids on loan unless its a loan to buy deal
Why not try kennedy.he is fast, skillfull and can shoot.got to start giving some of the kids a go. what's the point in having some of the best young players in the country if you don't give them a chance. Look at shaw at Southampton, stirling at the reds, townsend at spuds.put in at 17, apart from townsend, but can hold there own in the premier.
He was coming on really well for us before his injury. I think he has plenty to learn with us. I don't think he is ready for aother step-up.
Amazing, one dodgy post and he is only half as good as he was last week already. Grow up, he is a Barcelona player so of course he will say that's where he wants to be.

He's a barca player he isn't going to come out saying he's not ready for their first team and wants to play somewhere else, it's the way it works
No but he could reply with a vague or open-ended answer, example; "Currently no deal has been agreed with anybody, up to now I will be going back to barcelona. At the end of the season optins will be discussed and assessed and me and Barcelona will find the next appropriate step for my career." many other ways of answering that question are available so it is not a case of saying he wants to go on loan to us or somewhere else or stay at Barcelona.
