I think we have some of the best youngsters in world football right now this season is already a right off a new manager will not blood our young talent in to the first team I think we could very well give the job to rhino till end of season as he nos what our young players r capable of an not scared to put them in the first team so it could turn out to be a united class of 96 and a new era at our club is born.

Absolutely not! If we continue losing it will destroy their confidence, we will be relegated, fans will turn on the manager and board! . any more?
We need a Manager to take control, reinstate players belief in themselves and get the most of the ones we have spent £125m on pre season. its a huge task and we must make an appointment that can start that process immediately!

I agree with you about the young players, but I thought rhino did them no favours with his decisions yesterday once morgan was booked he was the obvious change. With Ghana and Beni we were for once winning the midfield. We started with 3 players who could make a tackle and were reduced to 1. Poor jonjoe was lost on the left, you think rhino should know jonjoe's limits better than anyone. Some of the comments I've read about the young players are bang out of order.
As much as I dislike Martina I thought the lack of concern showed for him while he was down injured was a disgrace especially from his captain. The lyon players showed more concern than Ashley.
Our fans were brilliant, lyon beautiful city, friendly people let down by their police.

Thought Unsy myself but that is 3 in a row now with the latest being against Lyon. Am I the only one that did not understand his thinking with that line up. He left 3 'experienced' players at home, did not choose to blood any young up and comings and played our record signing play maker as an out and out striker. We need consistency, guts, nounce and pace, above all we need pace. Also I believe Unsworth is not being neutral in his thinking but is bringing personalities into it, he certainly has something against Sandro.

Scoundrel, agree with most of that but the police bit is just a lack of understanding on the way of doing things and training. I lived on the continent for many many years as well as elsewhere in the World. You want to see Policing go to South America.

And yet Wakka the dithering still goes on. Time after time it is the same thing and appears to be a wholly Everton thing.

Yes but this is central Europe a city that could pass for a capital they were using us as a dress rehearsal for the final. Don't get me wrong we have our share of embarrassing fans but French or Italian fans wouldn't have been so patient with the police as ours were.

Totally agree with you re the Martina thing Scoundrel. Didn't see any of the players go over to check on him which was nothing short of disgusting given how horrific that injury looked and could have been. I don't know if he's been shunned because he was Koeman's man, but the players should be ashamed.

Just because Unsworth is a blue it does not mean he is good enough or experienced at that level, otherwise give it to Jimmy the kit man!
Once the season had started and it was obvious there was trouble ahead the search should have been underway even behind closed doors.
Whoever comes in has a massive task, never thought I'd say that in the summer, but signs were there in the buying of players with no apparent plan!

how can people say getting knocked out of Europe is a good thing we all want European football then complain about it well let's get something straight our predicament isn't down to Europa league football it's down to buying 3 no 10s to go alongside Barkley then having no idea how to set the team up so as it's a results bussines koeman lost his job and wrightly so then comes in mr unsworth who talks a good game and loves our club second half v Chelsea was ok but got it massively wrong v Leicester then last night after another lucky goal we caved in now I have to say I thought Kenny holgate Lewin and Benny can hold their heads up high this morning it's a tough ask for kids to play in a struggling side then we come to the senior players Lennon I love him but I don't see what he brings to the team in the last 3 games I haven't seen him take 1 man on schniderlin has gone from being a premiership player to a league 2 player in 12 months sigs is offering nothing I thought Williams did ok in the face of extreme hostility from the fans why gueye was took off while schniderlin was on a yellow is anyone's guess especially when he was playing well I think some players really need to look at themselves in the mirror and if they are not up for the fight they should be sold as a few have really let unsworth and koeman down unfortunately for me unsworth I don't think he now has a chance of getting the job and we have no idea what the board is thinking regarding a new manager I'm leaning to Dyche sets a team up not to concede and has his team playing decent football but then again I wanted koeman so what so I know.

can I ask why your glad we are out we all wanted European football and then moan about being in it I'm gutted at how we performed and in a season when we expected to move up a level some fans are never happy.

I personally think we need goals. They can I think, could put keV up front he has played there for Belgium up front and has scored a few up there. I believe a sweeper in front of back four to shore up defence and try to get a clean sheet and pump some long balls to Kumar and keV and try to nick a goal. I know that is ugly but it maybe effective. What do you think eds.

Correct me if i'm wrong emeraldblue but i'm sure kev was a striker for olympiakos when we bought him. He's actually a good finisher on his day, i know them days are few and far between but still can be a good shout 👍🏼.
