Koeman changed his formation, Jags was brilliant, Pickford a steel at 30mil
They all played well enough but still not convincing enough in the final third, crying out quality up front, Koeman looked a worried man, well done to the two Unsworth Kids.

After watching the qualifier games I think it's clear to everyone we need a number 9. Is there anyone we're going in for at the moment eds? Or does koeman think Rooney/ Sandro can supply the goals.
{Ed002's Note - I expect Everton to continue to look for another striking option assuming Oumar Niasse moves on. But the priority has to be getting Sigursson sorted out as soon as possible and getting Ross Barkley sold.}

It is obvious we need pace. There is none in the team. Sneiderlin Gana and Klaasen cannot play in the same team. Too much alike. A good quality striker is a must too.

I think we all expect fantastic football from the off, but we can all see we are still in pre season, some things need more work but in general we were comfortable, and these couple of games will of only helped us he'll abit more, all the other teams will be the same so I don't think we should panicky, when gilfi signs he will be the perfect link man and if we can get a striker in, that will be the icing on the cake.

Sounds a really simple suggestion but I would swap Niasse for Grosiki at Hull I rate him and think he gives natural width and quality service we don't get from Mirallas and Lennon! Hull i'm sure would wand Niasse back?
