In drenthe's interview he said 'i think the english league is where i need to be'

Good news for us i think, such a quality player. I know he gives the ball away and goes in hard but he's what we need - creates goals! Big shout but 2-1 to us against tottenham.

howard
hibbert, heitinga, distin, baines
drenthe, osman, fellaini, gueye
cahill
straq

Drenthe banned for spurs

Agree0 Disagree0

No he's not

Get Cahill off and Jellyman on

Agree0 Disagree0

No he's not! Decent team mate, but can't see Moyes going for it. He will play Neville AGAIN in midfield with Coleman/Osman right and Drenthe left... Cahill will play and I think he might actually go for Jelavic....... It wont be long till he drops Heitinga or Distin and puts Jagielka back in the side, he loves his favorites does are Moyesy!
Really he needs to get some bottle and play Hibbert for Neville at right back. Keep Distin and Heitinga at centre back for the rest of the season, drop Cahill for either a proper striker or play Osman behind the lone striker.

Agree1 Disagree0

I know Straq's been brilliant for us lately, but I think i'd give Jelavic a shot against Spurs. if it isn't working then bring on The Straq. At least that way we test what might work against the Sh*te.

Steve EFC {Ed025's Note - i will second that steve...straq may be more effective from the bench, and the jelly man needs some serious game time.

Savage has just said on BBC Sports that DM would be perfect for Chelsea.

Believable2 Unbelievable20

Why would he want to go there though? he's got a lot more going for him here at Everton. Stef.

Agree1 Disagree0

To be honest I wouldnt pay any attention to Robbie savage on anything football wise....ballroom dancing yes...football no!!

Agree1 Disagree0

Haha no! There's only ever been one man for that job and he walked because if the interfering owner when they were winning stuff! If Chelsea want success there owner needs to stop interfering and be patient.
P.s wtf does robbie savage know? Idiot!

Agree0 Disagree0

I would drive Moyes there myself, remind him that he would like everyone to have 20 percent pay cut and collect AVB to drop him off a Goodison. Imagine Moyes trying to stand up to Terry, Fat Frank and Cashley, he wouldn't last five minutes

Agree0 Disagree0

"Imagine Moyes trying to stand up to Terry, Fat Frank and Cashley, he wouldn't last five minutes"

Are you serious? That's the one thing that Moyes would have no problem with. You've seen his bulgy-eyed angry face. Terry, Cole and Lampard are pussies compared to Moyes. Now, playing scintilating, attacking football might be too much to ask but never stamping his authority on the players.

I think he'd be pretty good at Chelsea to be honest. He did a great job of lowering the age of our squad with no money (okay so it has risen again but that due to having no funds) which Chelsea desperately need - he'd shear them up at the back - and the he'd have the money to buy expensive attacking players and be able to take more risks in the transfer market.

I hope we keep him though and get investment for him to improve the squad

Agree0 Disagree0

While I'm not Robbie Savage's biggest fan I respect his opinion as he has played at a high level so would know a little more than us fans in that respect. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and that's his which he is paid to give. DM is held with high regard in the league but wouldn't go to Chelsea for the simple fact that he wouldn't be given time. Look what he has done for us by being given time. AVB should still be there and Roman should have sat back and let him get on with it. They call the England job a poison chalice I beg to differ that Chelsea is that job.... You are damned if do and damned if you don't!

Moyes lowered the age are joking neville35 etc hibbet cahill osman distan all over 30

Agree1 Disagree1

That guy who said he would drive Moyes there himself, you must be either a Koppite or a complete idiot, both are the same thing anyway but if you support our club you need to have a good look at yourself in the mirror

Agree0 Disagree0

If you read my post I said he DID lower the age of the squad but it has risen again due to having no funds to shake things up.

Weir, Stubbs, Valente, Campbell, Ferguson, Watson, Carsley, Unsworth, Pembridge. He replaced the old guard with Cahill, Arteta, Baines, Fellaini, Bily, Lescott, Jags, Howard, Coleman, Rodwell, Pienaar, etc...

Yes Neville, Cahill, Osman and Distin are all pushing on now. And not being able to do what he did so comprehensibly when he arrived might play a factor in him leaving soon.

Agree0 Disagree0

Does not matter all the opinions on here - until chelsea address the players attitude no manager will be succesful - chelsea need a Capello like charachter to control all the egos in the dressing room and may be cut a few of the non performers - i heard Torres was one who said he would be off - Players blaming the manager cos they are s**tE. and not up to the EPL

Agree1 Disagree0

There is a lot of young players in the Everton squad, 25 or under, Fellaini, Coleman, Anichebi,Gueye,Drenthe,Junior,Duffy,Barkley,Vellios, not sure about Strac think he is 26, Gibson 26, Baines 27 Heitinga 27. Jelavic 27. So dat leaves 5 or 6 players over 30 that brings our average age up. Howard at 31 is not dat old for a keeper. So dats 15 players who could play for the next 6 seasons together. There are 2 or 3 lads in the youths and reserves who will come into the squad next season. Garbutt, Hope, and 1 other. So would not be too worried about the age of the squad. But to the original post Moyes will not accept or be offered the managers job at Chelsea. Its not a good job. lifespan 12 months 8 managers last 8 years. Very old squad who needs to be replaced. To win a Premier league or Champions league which seems to be must to get a futher 12 months while trying to replace 2/3rds of the squad is an impossible job.

Agree1 Disagree0

I doubt anyone regrets taking the job 30 million for 6 months work

Agree1 Disagree0

Roman would never go for a Manager/Coach without European success or ample experience at least, and our Davey don't quite tick those 2 boxes...also DM would need to be 100% sure he wouldn't be ruining his chances of getting a shot at MUFC after SAF retired ...coz lets face it the Bridge is littered with rotting managers corpses.
Only a money grabbing big head would consider taking it. {Ed001's Note - Ed025 is putting his application form as we speak.....}

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol Ed001...:)))) {Ed001's Note - I am going to get some grief when he sees that!}

Agree1 Disagree0

Gibson is 24 and straq is 24 to that guy who was on about ages
