Rumour is that Moysey was at the Heerenveen game watching Oussama Assaidi not Bas Dost.. He's a right winger so seems more likely

Believable15 Unbelievable11

Is he any good??

Agree1 Disagree0

He's quality {Ed024's Note - You are right

Agree0 Disagree1

He's boss, he's fast hard working and has a ton of assists this season, only 22 as well I think

Agree0 Disagree0

I remember us being linked with him in the summer and in January. You heard this name being mentioned Ed? {Ed024's Note - Supposed to be very good, not sure if we will get him though

Agree0 Disagree0

Going to be a very good player they would want atleast 8 mill for him, heard benfica have already got a deal in place aswell

Agree1 Disagree0

Hope we get him!!

Agree0 Disagree1

This kid is boss he plays left or right at the moment he is on the left with another tasty lad called Narsingh on the right.

Agree0 Disagree1

Never heard of him, but if Moyes wants him, then he must be pretty decent.

eveton would still like lukaku even if it is only on loan, chelsea still wont plan him and are wxpected to sign new players summer

Believable11 Unbelievable9

He would do me on loan big strong lad who could be decent given a run in the team.
he has gone backwards at chesea. {Ed025's Note - we enquired last season mate, maybe we will get him this year..

Agree0 Disagree1

Would rather see vellios given more of a chance to be honest

Agree0 Disagree0

Fellies mate would b great loan deal big lad for jellavic work off ste44 {Ed024's Note -It would be a great loan deal and his style would compliment jelavic

Agree0 Disagree1

I reckon it would be a great addition to the squad, for me, we really need a back up striker and Lukaku could help with that singing him on loan, could solve one of our problems and allow us to focus on more problematic areas (wingers, right back) {Ed025's Note - spot on!..

Steven Fletcher to sign for £8.5 million {Ed025's Note - no way..

Believable4 Unbelievable31

I think you have been a little OTT with the valuation. A decent player worth around £3-4m with Wolves relegated
Cheeks {Ed025's Note - that sounds fair cheeks..

Agree1 Disagree1

I dont understand the massive need for a striker in the summer? Do we need a striker, yes, to replace Stracq, but spend money, yet alone 8.5mil (where he got that from I have no clue) on what would be a back up for Jelavic.

For me this summer, priority has to be Pienaar, and another creative player, be it attacking mid or a winger {Ed025's Note - i agree mate..

Agree1 Disagree0

The right wing (rb & r and pienaar is the three areas we need to sort. Unless he can get Coleman to come good. Like the form he was showing in the early stages of the season then we will need just one right sided player.

Agree1 Disagree0

Would like to see vellios partner jelavic for a few games see how that turns out? worth a shot anyone?

Agree1 Disagree0

Yeah I agree, Velios should be given a chance alongside Jelavic. I think Jelavic's movement, link up play would really help Velios.

Everton are in a battle with French giants Montpellier and Lille in the race to land Ryan Mendes.

The striker, currently playing for Le Havre in the club's second tier, has been watched by Everton scouts this season.

David Moyes' spies have sent him positive feedback and with the 22-year-old's contract up in 2013, the Everton manager hopes to get Mendes on the cheap this summer.

A bid of around £1.5m may be enough to seal a deal for the Cape Verde international, although Montpellier and Lille are both lurking.

The French pair hope the opportunity to remain in France and progress in Ligue 1 would appeal to Mendes, who has been at Le Havre since 2008 - Talksport.co.uk

Steve EFC {Ed025's Note - nice info steve..cheers

Believable7 Unbelievable11

Anyone know much about him who could give us a bit of a report?
Cheeks {Ed025's Note - hes from cape verde, and is a forward with le havre in the french league cheeks....his record is nothing special, but at 22 has shown lots of potential, and is highly regarded..

Everton are on the trail of Holland's top goalscorer Bas Dost.

Manager David Moyes and assistant Steve Round travelled to Enschede on Wednesday to watch the 22-year-old score his 31st goal of the season as Heerenveen beat FC Twente 4-3.

Also on show was FC Twente forward Luuk de Jong, who has been attracting interest from Liverpool and Newcastle among others.

De Jong scored twice but is out of Everton's price range, with Steve McClaren's club valuing him at £15million.

Dost, who is 6ft 4in, has been watched extensively by Aston Villa and German club Wolfsburg.

The Germans believe they are in pole position and are willing to offer around £7.5million for the Holland Under 21 striker.

That may also be too expensive for Everton but they hope the lure of the Premier League can persuade Dost to join should they pursue a deal. {Ed024's Note - Would be a great addition

Believable15 Unbelievable8

7.5mil??

Jelavic and Dost up front! Imagine the goals...
