Heard a whisper about Lukaku and de bruyne in exchange for felli. You heard anything Ed? {Ed025's Note - cant see it myself mate..

Would certainly take that, perhaps try and squeeze a couple mil out of them as well.

But Lukaku is exactly what we need, a big, fast centre forward capable of leading the line, would be amazing.

De Bruyne not seen a lot of in the Bundesliga, but heard he has been doing rather well over there and would fit in nicely as that attacking mid role.

Just need money for a powerful midfielder like Capoue or Fer, and I think we would be set (maybe a winger whilst we are at it)

Keep dreaming lads. Two young Chelsea players that are excelling on loans and yet to play for the club they both support. A little far fetched wouldn't you say?

Apparently Moyes is trying to push through a deal whereby Chelsea get Fellaini and we get De Bruyne and Lukaku, that'd save us having to give any money to Liege and give Chelsea a chance to bend FFP. The problem would obviously be getting all of the agents to sing off the same hymn sheet but Mirallas and Lukaku have the same agent.

I think Chelsea are not bothered about him since his form dipped! Reckon he will stay!

If that was true and the board stumped up more cash for mccarthy and lescott we would have a super team.

I doubt that this would happen. but it would be a great deal. we would have to replce fellaini possibly capoue. Replace heitinga- Lescott or De Vrij. Possibly replace jelavic if he goes-Mertens? We would also have to bring in another CM as neville is off. couple mil to replace heitinga, Capoue 10 mill, replace jela with money made from him. get Fer-6 million. If we had 18-20 million to spend that would be brilliant.

By that comment JP would keep his job even if the offer from a competing company would double his wages. Football is Lescott's job essentially he got better offer and took it I'm not thrilled about the circumstances surrounding it but that wasn't all his fault City played a dirty media game and he ws dragged in.

I've just heard this too, brilliant if its true.

We'd still owe Liege. In swap deals, the players involved are assigned fair values, so that the accountants can file everything properly. We'd get £25M (or whatever) for Fellaini, and give it right back to get Lukaku and De Bruyne in this scenario, so we'd still owe Liege whatever sell-on was negotiated. Now, there's nothing to say that we couldn't ask Chelsea to cover it, but the money still gets paid.
