First time I've posted a rumour. A friend I have who works for the club has said we are very interested in Josef Martínez. brands sees him as the perfect fit for silva's style and he's the right age.

yeah great record for Atlanta but poor everywhere else he has been. Not sure he is the answer but if brands and Marco are happy who are we to disagree. Hopefully just a late bloomer.

I wouldn't call his record poor considering he was young at the time he was in Italy and Switzerland. His last 2 seasons in the MLS have been much better though.

37 in 58 in italy isn't a bad record before america. 84 goals in last 105 games ad say he knows how to put the ball past the keeper.

Watched him for Atlanta when Rooney first started over there. Looked lively with good movement/ pace . He stood out enough to only remember him and Rooney from match. Maybe worth a punt.
