jake livermore linked to loan move

Believable6 Unbelievable18

05 Jan 2013 20:46:28
Apparently Charlie Austin was given permission to leave the squad for the game this weekend so he could come and complete his move to Everton before Tuesday for around 5 million, not sure on the reliablilty, come a source of mine and normally he's very accurate

EtidAaron {Ed013's Note - I don't think David would splash 5 million on him mate}

Believable6 Unbelievable20

Thats rich, too rich for us, more likely Newcastle, as they will be linked with every striker around now that Ba has left.

Agree0 Disagree0

We have no money !! {Ed025's Note - says who?..

Agree0 Disagree0

He wasn't even in the squad as he is out with a hamstring injury at the moment

Agree0 Disagree0

My understanding is everton are intrested but will not pay all the money up front they enquired about a move with some money now and the rest on performance releted add ons which was rejected

Sinclare move could be on if its a loan

Believable7 Unbelievable15

Nope can't happen. Loans count, can't play for more than 2 clubs in a season, not calendar year etc etc.

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance, can't play for 3 clubs in the same season, hes already played for swansea and city this season

Agree0 Disagree0

He definitely can't sign, had he not played the opening game of the season against QPR he would of been eligible, but by virtue that he kicked a ball (and scored!) he isn't permitted to sign for another team having represented City in the same season.

Agree0 Disagree0

There is no rule to say how many clubs you can play for on loan so sinclair was a swansea player then permanent deal to city and he can now be loaned out to as many teams as they want

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes there is. Sick of this Sinclair rumour now it's complete rubbish!

Just heard we are interested in a young Argentinian international. Here's a section of the article:

"EVERTON and Tottenham are after Valez Sarsfield striker Facundo Ferryra."

"A regular fixture in the Argentina under-20's, the 21-year-old has scored 13 goals in 15 games this season and that has attracted interest from clubs in Europe."

BitterBlue

Believable14 Unbelievable14

So Tottenham will offer him £67K a week and the opportunity to spend it in the bright lights of London... and that's our interest over... unless Strac can have word with him :-)
Concerned Citizen

Agree0 Disagree0

Looks like a cracking player but will it happen?

Agree0 Disagree0

Tottenham are seriously getting on my nerves first they take holtby, they're in every deal moyes goes for.. just because daniel levy couldnt get him last year..

Agree0 Disagree0

Everton were looking at this lad during the last transfer window.
TT

Agree0 Disagree0

How do you play under 20 as 21 year old

Agree0 Disagree0

^ I think he meant he was a regular fixture.

Charlie Austin not playing for burnley let's hope it's because he's coming to us

Believable12 Unbelievable19

Him not playing might have something to do with his injury...

BitterBlue

Agree0 Disagree0

Why are so many people advocating a championship striker ? It's a massive step-up and would represent a huge gamble with the limited funds we have. I'd rather Moyes brought in someone like Vossen (who wouldn't cost a whole lot more) or Gameiro (loan if possible), proven quality in better leagues, and in Gameiro's case a ful French international.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm sure the real reason he's not playing is because he's injured but we've signed some cracking players from Burnley over the years, the first ones that spring to mind are Martin Dobson and Trevor Steven. I know there's a bigger gulf between the leagues now but those 2 were cracking players for Everton.
Moody Blue

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance of austin coming when will everyone learn we dont have any money if any thing it will be loan deals and the last time i checked austin would cost 5m so stop wasting our time with bull.

Agree0 Disagree0

He is injured, out for two weeks

Agree0 Disagree0

Whats the problem with a Championship striker ? he is 23 and knocking them in for fun.
Everybody learns their apprenticeship, in any job you show you progression and are rewarded, no different in football. There are gems out there in the lower leagues, and thankfully we have a manager who can spot them, Cahill, Jags, Lescott, Coleman so smarten up with you comments !

Agree0 Disagree0

You know people keep saying its a "massive step up" going from championship to premier league action yet the same can be said for Jelavic from SPL to EPL. Come on people. It would a step up from anywhere

Agree0 Disagree0

If he's gonna cost £5m then I'd rather go for the players I mentioned Gameiro or Vossen, who would be similarly priced, to my knowledge. Yes, we've had a few bargains, Cahill, Lescott from the championship, Jags had already had a full season or 2 in the top flight and was not so much a gamble. Just look at Jelavic, had that purple patch and now he's showing his 'true' form now and can't cut it in this league goalscoring wise. {Ed025's Note - is it just me?...or are we being invaded by beings from planet pot herb?..

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Jan 2013 16:06:31
What do we think for the team on Monday?

I think Jelavic should play to get some confidence back and Fellani has just had a 3 game break, but I remember the Leeds game and the risk of playing a junior team

For me

Howard
Neville Jags Heitinga. Distin
Naismith Fellani hitzlesperger Oviedo
Anichebe
Jelavic

I'd still have a good bench just in case (Baines, Pienaar and Osman) but also some fringe players we could bring on

Believable11 Unbelievable12

I'd throw Barkley in, instead of Hitz.

BitterBlue

Agree0 Disagree0

Full strength team end of

Agree0 Disagree0

Think we should play a strong team mate. We have gone 17 years without a trophy, a club of our size that is too long.

Howard
Coleman Jagielka Heitinga Oviedo

Naismith Fellaini Neville Pienaar

Anichebe Jelavic

Osman and Baines on the bench

Agree0 Disagree0

Just don't play mucha!

Agree0 Disagree0

Id start with the team that finished v newcastle, we cant afford another leeds and baines and pienarr make us tick .

Agree0 Disagree0

Mirallas will be like a new signing boys, so who cares about Milner and Sinclair

Believable19 Unbelievable2

He is class, I remember he terrorised Liverpool at Goodison

Dave EFC

Agree0 Disagree0

I remember that turn against Liverpool just before he got injured, worth the £5mil alone.

Agree0 Disagree0

When is he due back? Last I heard he went to 'healing hans'!

Agree0 Disagree0

Clubsite, say Coleman and mirallas hoping to be ready for Swansea game

Agree0 Disagree0

What excites me most of all being an Everton fan and 2013, is the fact that we have not had our settled best 11 out yet, and that includes the right handside of Coleman and Miralles, which i think could be as effective as Baines/Pienaar, i kid you not.
Miralles is potentially the most exciting player in the Prem, the problem is getting him fit, when he is we are going to have some player on our hands

Agree0 Disagree0

Howard, Coleman, jags, Distin, baines, mirallas, pienaar, Gibson, osman, fellaini, Jelavic, Neville, anichebe, heitinga, hibbert, Naismith, Barkley, Oviedo, gueye, mucha, duffy - add striker, holding midfielder and maybe a centre back. 20 - 22 man squad and you have every position covered. We are currently winning games without mirallas, Gibbo and Coleman and have had fellaini suspended, anichebe, hibbo and Neville injured. You won't get many better teams than this. Plus we work harder than any team. More positive my fellow evertonians. No money no cry! We will get some signing sorted I am sure even if its just loans!

Agree0 Disagree0

Good when hes fit, i think his hamstrings are made out paper tho

Agree0 Disagree0

Vadis odjidja-ofoe will come in on loan with a option to buy Charlie austin WILL also be coming heitinga out and maybe gueye barkley on loan

Believable8 Unbelievable12

Can't see Austin coming in myself. It cost Southampton £7million to buy Jay Rodriguez from Burnley and Austins far better than him (in my opinion). Even if we did have that sort of money, could you really see Moyes risking it on a Championship Striker? No chance.
Toffeepidge

Agree0 Disagree0

You would assume that the situation with Ofoe is no different than Septmeber, its obvious we wanted him then, i the money to do the deal is till there ? so this surely must happen

Agree0 Disagree0

QPR have bid 8 million for lescott but he is holding out because of his desire to come back to everton surprise surprise they nearly all come back to the best football club in the world id have him no sweat maybe this is the big one bk and moyes r working on hope so

Believable8 Unbelievable20

Theres a surprise a kopite puts unbelievable get back too ur own site

Agree0 Disagree0

I think its more likely he's waiting for villa to come in

Agree0 Disagree0

It was on ssn this afternoon that lescott prefers a move back to his old club everton rather than go to qpr. jimmy

Agree0 Disagree0

Id gladly get shut of johnny H and have Lescott back in a flash !

Agree0 Disagree0

Lescott wants to fight for his place at city and has ruled out any loan move in January. Forren is the man we need if we can get him. Within our budget and is only 24. Lescott went for the dosh and he will stay for the dosh as a bench warmer and will play the odd games against bottom half of league!

Agree0 Disagree0

Eight mill for a 30 year old grasping judas!! this will not happen. JP

Moyes keen on a move for huddlestone

Dave EFC

Moyes has been linked with him for years, defensive midfielder, big lad, in and out at Tootenham. I could see this! JP

Just heard there will be a loan signing in the next 10 days plus Heitinga representatives have made noises about him wanting to leave the club thisn window.
No money will be spent but a couple of loans to bolster the squad

Believable9 Unbelievable10

Nice one Nostradamus, did you look into your crystal ball for that ?

Agree0 Disagree0

You just wrote what the club have said and saying 10 days gives you a huge window to be slightly right.

We know we have no money and Moyes already said two loans hopefully. In Moyes we trust he has not failed us yet so keep your knickers on.

heard Moyes has signed a new contract, paying 4m a year.

Anyone else heard anything?

Gods Doctor

Believable8 Unbelievable14

That's what he is on now. Not heard anything as he said he would look at it after January.

Agree0 Disagree0

But yet its not on a website give ur head a wobble !

Agree0 Disagree0

He won't sign till after the window as he holds all the cards for transfers as sell and he is gone. He knows what he is doing and if he was to leave I am sure he would have said so.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bit hard wen he already o 4 mill a year, 4th highest in prem 12th highest in wold

Agree0 Disagree0

He is on 4 mill already can people not read the news

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Jan 2013 13:22:00
He's gets 5 mill now

Agree0 Disagree0

Moyes is hinting that he may not sign a new contract to get more money out of BK but february march time he will sign

Ofoe deal has gone quiet.
Hoarau has gone to China.
Holtby has signed for Spurs.
Lescott is going to Villa.
Milner is a non-starter.

What is happening are we signing anyone?

Believable6 Unbelievable16

Please don't Stress. I have faith in Moyes and he will bring someone in that is Cheap and just as good as all those players you have mentioned. Ofoe I still think will come with someone else. Remember last season. Jelavic and pienaar signed in the last hours of the transfer. Have Faith.

Aussie Toffee

Agree0 Disagree0

Why go for players every other club is after?

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactly, no need to worry, this has ALWAYS been the case with Everton. Moyes moves onto the next target on his list and it always seems to work for us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Have to agree with the last comment, however I am really disappointed we could not make a similar play for Holtby. I think we really need the additions right now as we are really weak on the right side, in the centre of the park and we badly need a 2nd striker... Great to see Anichebe firing off the bench again.. Look forward to some positive news coming our way.

Agree0 Disagree0

People need to let this Holtby thing go. He was an Everton fan, so what? He is a footballer, and footballers nowadays look for the big cheque, I don't blame them, it is life.

I am disappointed we missed out, he will be a good player, but he wasn't worth the 70/75k a week wage he was asking for, that is the same amount Fellaini is on!!

As I said disappointed, but if he doesn't want to join, and chase the money, it is his life and his decision, personally, I like the fact that we have players that WANT to play for this club, I think it is the reason why (along with Moyes) why this club is successful despite the financial constraints, I mean seriously, who would want a bunch of mercenaries at the club? I take QPR as the PERFECT example.

Sad to see Holtby go to Spurs, but this is Everton, we will move on and I am sure we will come out stronger, like always.

Agree0 Disagree0

Omg its 5 days in to the window moaning already, get a grip {Ed025's Note - i agree mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Have to say, I'm gutted about Holtby, but he is never going to get a game at spurs, so it's his loss. He was asking for too much money, I personally don't want money grabbers in my team anyway, he wanted nearly 70k a week, he is still young, so doesn't deserve than much and that would be top payed at everton above the likes of Baines and Fellaini, who are better players. And also it's only the beginning of January, its not like we are 30 mins to the deadline. Have patience, Moyes will sort something out, he isn't stupid.................

Did anyone actually hear of or even watch Holtby before he mentioned Everton?
Why do people think he will be a great signing?
Let's face it he's a young midfielder about to step into the premier league. Shades of Fabian Delph.
Can we honestly say we've missed out?
He's an unknown quantity and the premier league has been a graveyard for many world class midfielders. Veron, Biscan, Poborski, Nyarko, not to mention Shevchenko, Forlan, Babel, Chamakh, etc. By the way all these players had bigger and better reps than Holtby. If we didn't sign him it's because we didn't try. COYB

Bill kenwright had today said that he is looking for an investor and feels that there is a higher chance as of there league position. This must be where all the takeover rumours are coming from again!

Believable18 Unbelievable6

Investor and takeover are 2 different things.

i think if we got C/L footy, maybe we would be in a better position for a TAKEOVER

Agree0 Disagree0

It's not just Kenwright who makes decision on who to sell too. The problem we have is a few if the major shareholders need to agree and our problem is they never have. Paul Gregg for example wouldn't agree to an outside investor in 2004. We bought pistone, alexanderson, big dunc and Steve Watson thinking 20mill was coming in when it was scuppered by Gregg. We then sold Ball and Jeffers to appease the banks. My point is Kenwright has done everything he can and gets no credit. Other shareholders have never put there money in. We will get investment one day. We are going just fine without at the moment.

Agree0 Disagree0

Your wrong mate it was gregg who wanted to sell the club and kenwright wouldnt, FACT!

Agree0 Disagree0

Forget about investment, it isn't happening any time soon, we hear this every window, we need a stadium first

Agree0 Disagree0

WE NEED A STADIUM FIRST. ANYONE MAD ENOUGH TO BUY A FOOTBALL CLUB ESPECIALLY OURS WILL HAVE TO OUTLAY £300MIL+ FOR A NEW STADIUM BEFORE A PLAYER IS EVEN SIGNED. NOT GONNA HAPPEN.
