I would rather he went to Chelsea as I think Man U are one of the teams we could overtake -.

there is a guy who walks his dog in the local park where i walk mine (sefton park) he works for efc altho i don't recognise him or his initials he told me in feb that lukaku was going to move to manu only probs is rom himself he wants chelsea so now all the talk is rom is going to manu and they are going to add wayne to the deal as long as we are prepared to pay his 250 aweek wages if you say it out loud it doesn't make sense first off we would not pay that much for rooney secondly why would we swap or deal only to get the short end of the stick i have no doubt that manu want rom they might even get him but the rest is just crap i don't see him getting more than 100-120 a week at efc and that's a stretch is kind of odd that it is the sun that broke this crap i mean story yesterday can't imagine where they are getting there headline grabbing storys from this is rumour mongering at its worst their is no way any newspapers actually no what's going on during any negotiations and if rooney is going to be an efc player its because its what wayne wants not because of rom or how much efc will pay him.

Lukaku wants Champions League football. Well as I see it, seven teams will be vying for the four spots next season and none of them are a shoe in. I include Everton in the seven. If he doesn't want to be part of the revelotion then more fool him. If he wants guaranteed Champions League football, sign for Celtic. Let's get as much as we can for him and Barkley and enjoy what's coming. COYB. IKWT.

I'm not going to lie, I'll be gutted when he goes - regardless of where it is! You can't knock a player for having ambition and being driven toward success. Unfortunately, I feel that we just aren't where we need to be just yet to keep a player like him. I've no doubt that in a couple of seasons that we will, just not right at this moment - c'est la vie!

Good luck to the lad anyway, and we will move onwards and upwards 😊.

Celtic will guarantee him titles Ed and also Champions League, if he is as good as he thinks he is then he could do it even at a club that is not the elitist when it comes to challenging for the Champions League title.

ED02 is their any reason we can't offer champions league in the near future as top 4 is the aim next season as for him going to UTD I still think he will end up at Chelsea Mourinho didn't rate him and sold him while at Chelsea so with him wanting Morata why would he also want Lukaku.

I think our aim is to consistently challenge top 4 although I know winning the league is out of our grasp just now regarding Lukaku and Mourinho my thinking was he sent him out on loan twice then he must of agreed to the sale for him to leave. in all honesty the sooner he leaves the better great goalscorer but his all round play isn't fantastic and he won't get away with as much as he did with us.

no you can't knock a player for wanting cl football but how many of us would give up everything we have for a little bit more or the promise thereof utd have locked themselves into playing rom now they have they're man and will have to play around him. not good imho utd will again have to change the way they play to accommodate rom smacks of inconsistency in the coming season. how long before the nonsense that has ruled his time at goodison starts at old trafford. give him a year like he did with us and see if he still wants chelsea move glad this chapter of our history is closed roll on the next.

Just seen a quote in Metro from Carlo Jacomuzzi, who apparently monitors players in Italy for us, claiming that Giroud will be joining us in a £20 million deal. Not seen anything else on this from other sources though so will believe it when it happens.

i just think it is mad the amount of players we are definitely in for according to papers truth is from when giroud said he wants to stay at arsenal it is obvious that the rumour is based on wenger probs telling giroud he is no longer needed at the emirates and his agent is working behind the scenes, so there would be some truth to the rumour and he is angling for the best move he can get. we are probs only in for rooney cause utd want him off they're wage bill, but then reports say utd will pay the balk of his wages makes no sense at all utd will pay rooney to play for efc? so a team who is a genuine rival will pay a player to play for that rival that cannot be right don't know the circumstances of wayne's move but surely that's not right if utd are paying rooney it because they are paying off his contract not paying him to play for us, so stupid these headlines.

yeh sheedy some special moments i too hope its not down to illness and wish him all the best but sharpy has to be best player in that team anyone remember the picture of sharpy in jack sharps sports shop. for you kids it was in whitechapel opposite the met quarter they had a 10ft photo of sharpy sitting on a bench in the dressing room post game wearing his efc kit both his legs are black and blue from his ankles up to his knees. just in case you didn't know what real effort looked like this pic no longer exists but someone must have it. best wishes kev.

lot of talk of forward players ed any links to any defenders mate i think we still need good centre half an maybe quality left back to challenge baines, i know we have williams keane jags an mori but if keane were to getinjured we could be little short of that quality mate.
