can any of the Eds confirm if it's true we have approached man city regarding Iheanacho.

{Ed001's Note - you have 100% spoken to Man City, though I was of the impression it was Paddy Roberts you asked about.}

Looks like dolberg wants to stay at Ajax for another year. Not sure how strong our interest in him was, but that's a shame. Think he's got a big future in him.

{Ed025's Note - i know you cant judge him from 1 game cropper but in the europa final he was hopeless mate..

Yeh I know he weren't great. Iv seen him in some other matches and he looked much better than that. Always a risk buying from the Dutch leagues (altidore) but they have obviously had their fair share of top strikers.

Hi Eds here's a new one, the papers are linking us with Jamie Vardy? What do you think.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - a bit one dimensional for me AB but i can see why we would be linked with him mate..

I think he would be a solid signing. Scores goals but more importantly for me, he will run through brick walls for the team and wear the shirt (any shirt) with pride.

Would be a change to see someone with passion up top for us.

Exactly what I was going to say JMW1878.
Was thinking of Lukaku attitude compared to Vardy I always been impressed with his attitude and desire to help the team .

{Ed025's Note - pity he never had the desire to help his manager though trebor and was part of the crew that got ranieri sacked..

Not for one second saying that you shouldn't follow your managers philosophy/ orders, but from what i heard, Ranieri changed/ wanted to change Leicesters whole style of play, from what won them the league.

A massive part of which was Vardy playing on the shoulder and running in behind.

Players carried out his wishes, but when it wasnt working, i heard that the players pleaded to return to their old ways and Ranieri stubbornly refused.

Not saying either parties are right here, but can kind of understand both sides.

I don't think Koeman would stand for any of that for one second and the player would be out the door.

Your right Ed him and the keeper. Would you trust them?

{Ed025's Note - no mate..

I've mentioned it on here before when people spoke about Vardy that we'd definitely need to replace Barkley as AM if we signed him. Vardy's strength is running onto quick balls played in behind whereas Barkley takes far too long to turn and play the ball.

That said, I think Vardy would be an excellent option for us in the Europa if we had people playing quality balls in behind, particularly in the early rounds.

And Vardy coming in would mean Koeman changing his style of play and for certain he will not do that. Our Manager it is his way or no way.

Poor option if you ask me. Would command too much of a transfer fee for a) his age and b) his actual ability. Yes, he is quick in behind, but Lukaku thrives off that sort of play too, and we rarely play that way. Why would you take him IN the door if you have any ideas that you would have to ship him back out it? Much better options out there.
