He's one of my favourite prem players atm think he has desire passion and most of all talent. Would also love us to sign jermaine defoe. free to leave and will score no matter what guarantees you 15goals at least maybe more in our ever growing talented squad. Also he would help the younger ones emensely.

see the Northern Echo are reporting we will sign Pickford for 17 million I'm not sure what I feel about it i would much rather break the bank for Hart, Butland, Leno or Schmeichel to be honest all world class keepers whereas Pickford has looked good playing for a poor Sunderland team who let's be honest Paul Gerrard would look good playing for them.

I don't think any of the keepers you mentioned are world class, I wouldn't worry about paper talk either. I can't see Sunderland getting anywhere near £17M for Pickford.

Pickford is overhyped and we are going to fall for it again like with Richard Wright and Steve Simonsen. Far better keepers around and much cheaper. Even Joe Robles out performed him.

If lukaku pushes for a move to chelsea, than i would be more than happy to take Begovic as part of the deal, very good keeper, proven prem performer, last I knew the price was 10m, so that and 90m, and chelsea can have the Lazy b. ed.

{Ed025's Note - thats hard to tell at the moment soph as a lot will depend on the rom and ross situations, we have looked at defenders like keane and koulibaly but the price is a bit off putting, sigurdsson and tielemans have also been courted amongst others but its a bit early yet for the exact situations mate, hopefully ED002 will give us a podcast outlining the situation soon as he gets information before most..
