Same age Moss and know just how you feel. Turned a big club into an average club, and if we stay like this we will be the next Leeds mate.

Selling does not guarantee great leadership and success.

{Ed025's Note - very true manno..

I agree with Moss but as for turning into the next Leeds Woburn I have to disagree. They ended up where they are because of unsustainable spending on transfer fees and wages,no chance of that happening with our Chairman and board is there?

People misunderstand this criticism for dislike and personal attack on BK but it is not. I, like you have supported this Team for many years and have seen them come and go. Yes he 'saved' us from Johnson (but actually what was Johnson doing) but since then he has stagnated us. I to believe that we have become BK's personal toy and have to wonder like you what is going on when other (full respect) so-called lesser Clubs attract investment but we cannot. His choice of manager this time round was/is also baffling if not downright ignorance to base it on an FA Cup round win against us and the FA Cup itself, totally ignoring his annual fight against relegation. As to RM, I hate to see us lose and love to see us win, however that is, but after 3 in a row (we are practically safe now), BK will use this as justifying not only his appointment but evidence to keep RM on for another season. That just indicates that BK has settled for us finishing 11th, 12th every year from now on.

I agree with Manno, but in english football nowadays, you need to attract the player that cost 100+ mil to be competitive if you want to break the top four. And for that to happend, we need some money. Simple as that.

Selling the club is not the issue, it is attracting a buyer with enough wealth that can change our status and they are few and far between.
villa, brum, Cardiff, Blackburn etc to name a few have all had new owners and its made no difference, its even had a detrimental effect in some cases.
A potential buyer also needs to look at a stadium change of massive refurbishment as well as squad investment so you are looking at huge amounts not just £100m or so!

I think we are at the worst possible point, we need a new stadium to get new owners, but we need new owners to get a new stadium

its a catch 22 Swan, every time it seems a new stadium is in place it goes tits up, perhaps we should be questioning why it keeps happening, this started years ago so by now we should rightly be in place and a really viable option for a prospective buyer! we can't all have the luck Man City and west Ham with inheriting stadiums but I'm sure it gave City the edge with the Abu Dhabi takeover!

I totally agree with the catch that Swan mentioned, and I thinks that's the reason why BK hasn't sold the club yet.
And let's be clear and honest here, before we turn BK into something he's not.

In my opinion, I think we got the most passionate chairman in PL. BK is LOVING Everton with all his heart, and I really do think we should appreciate and care about that.
Do we want another clueless idiot like Vincent Tan as our owners? No.

Thats why we need to find a new owner who has much more money and STILL care about values, tradition, history of the glory of our club. And I really do think that's hard to find, since we don't have e new stadium.

{Ed025's Note - its not hard BH...its nigh on impossible mate..

But the question remains. IS Everton Football Club FOR SALE?

Hands up who really think so?

Whether we like/trust BK or dislike/distrust him is imo immaterial at this time!

Personally I kinda lean towards the latter with a heavy heart I might say,

I believe he loves Everton F.C. so has an affinity with the rest of us .

My questions to him would be : Are you being overprotective by not being more aggressive in selling?

also are you frightened to let go of what some say is a possession for your own pure self indulgence?

Either way you have to let us move on to the next level before it's too late.

Kenwright wants the best for are club. He managed to raise the capital to buy when johnson put us up to are eyes in debt.johnson was still taking money from are club well after he left due to the shop he built and held sales rights to. he needs to settle his differences with people also passionate about us like lord grantchester etc.as for are managers comments recently he's trying to support players we have until end of season then if money is available he can bring in some more sideway passes. Also needs to tell a few agents to do one until players are near end of contracts,we don't have to sell if they sign long contracts.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2015 23:53:04
So where do you think he raised the capital from?
Why does Bob Earl have an interest in the Everton Football Club Ltd?

And who's providing the loans from the British Virgin Islands?

G. Deulofeu just expressed his desire of returning to Goodison as he has no future in Barcalona.

Honestly, I would be thrilled to see him back in the blue shirt. I just have that extra edge to lock up a solid defense which we desperately needs. Perfect replacement for Mirallas as well!

My fingers are crossed. He already got all what it takes, he just needs to mature in his style of play :)

Believable4 Unbelievable1

{Ed025's Note - he would be a great signing for me BH..

07 Apr 2015 07:45:42
Indeed Ed. If we can get 12-14 mil for Mirallas and buy Deulofeu for 10-12 mil I think that would be a great deal of business, since Mirallas won't play for us anymore.

{Ed025's Note - i suspect your right BH..

Oh how we view the past with rose tinted glasses. It would seem that everyone here has bought into his hype and forgotten the reality. Gerry was one of the worst players I've ever seen at Goodison.

All he did, every game, was give it away. He'd either get it, put his head down and run straight out of play, or stop, do 5 step overs and get tackled. He was absolutely shocking and Lukaku hated him because he NEVER crossed or passed, just shot from an absurd angle. He was lazy, greedy, couldn't pass, couldn't dribble, couldn't cross, couldn't shoot. I'm usually a muted figure at the games, but he is the only player to ever make me stand to my feet and shout profanity. Presumably Barca actually paid attention to his sting with us and that's why they don't want him.

I'd rather have Atsu, McGeady, Lennon, Gueye or Shandy Andy over him! Either way, I expect to see the Spanish Fool spending £15m plus on him because he's a 'diamond' in a 'special moment' of his career.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - dont hold back AB...tellus how you feel mate.. :)

08 Apr 2015 23:15:27
AB, You may have stood up and shouted profanities but most people just stood up because that's what Deulofeu did, he got you out of your seat.By the way if he's one of the worst players you've seen at Goodison then you haven't been going long. He's young he's talented and he's exciting. His shortcomings would be beaten out of him in the dressing room and training pitch.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Apr 2015 20:45:44
Agree with mike, if he's one of the worst ab you haven't seen many, magaye gueye for me is the worst winger I've ever seen, full stop. Not to mention awful players like jo, anichebe, pistone, straqualersi (for all his heart) and angell. couldn't cross? Those peaches across the 6 yard area that he used to always do which is every strikers wet dream and no one got on them. couldn't dribble? Did you watch him? One of the few I've seen with such good control to easily go past 5 or 6 players in the box. He was the only player to make you stand up and shout? Havent you been watching leon osman these past 10 years? ;)

So West Brom owner mutters he might want to sell club and there's a rush of interest. Makes you wonder how much Bill is paying his cousin to look for new buyers for the blues? Oh Rory Bill wants "investors"not new owners. That's probably why then.
