johnny heitinga is set to move on with Nedum Onuoha his replacement who looks like he has no future at man city, moyes is also looking at signing another center mid, winger (nzogbia) and a forward. but this depends on getting rid of the yak and yobo coyb
Believable15
Unbelievable14
Why is everyone looking to get rid of Heitinga, hes a great player we just need to find somewhere for him to fit in, Dont forget Jags and Fellaini was the same for the first season.

Would rather have Onuoha than Heitinga. Onouha can play across the back and crucially has more height than Jags (Heitinga and Jags is a fairly short CB partnership that has been found out by the high ball in the past.) Onouha is young and would want reasonable wages. Heitinga is a quality player but not our best CB and not keen to sit on the bench.

I heard from a reliable source that David Moyes had made an enquiry about Manchester City's James Milner as a N'Zogbia move looks difficult. It could happen if they can get the money ok. But Moyes said he would have N'Zogbia rather than Milner. Me personally, I wouldn't mind either {Ed025's Note - both would be great signings
Believable19
Unbelievable13
Surely wages would be a problem with Milner? Would rather have n'zogbia anyway.

Milner cost citteh 27 million or something obscene like that. Surely we can't afford him unless it was part of a Rodwell deal (which I would like)

Sky Sports News report that Wes Brown is about to undergo a medical at Sunderland. Gutted (LOL)
Believable22
Unbelievable7
Thank god {Ed025's Note - lets hope the medical goes well
Agree0
Disagree0
Why would you be gutted at an ageing, inconsistent reserve player going to another club? There are better younger hungrier players out there. Everton need a winger and striker anyway {Ed025's Note - i think the gutted was meant as a joke
Agree0

Jeezuuss christ ...

Ed, I'm glad there are some clued up people out there who can spot irony when it hits them square in the face...

keane and jenas and 5 million rodwell with the choice of dos santos or kranjar on loan offer will be made by friday have it from a good source {Ed025's Note - personally...i dont think either player....would improve the side..
Believable4
Unbelievable39
Keane and Jenas are both s**t
Agree0
Disagree0
Keane still has goals in him and dos santos just needs a run of games could be great {Ed025's Note - for me...keane..is in a downward spiral...if hes not good enough for our norwegian neighbours...then what makes him good enough for us?.
Agree0
Disagree0
Keane remains a quality striker and a team player but he needs to feel that he belongs Everton are a team that will fill that purpose for him, he would be a good signing if money is tight {Ed025's Note - i think, we will have to agree, to disagree.

Thanks but no thanks, with the ed on this one

not sure it was wise of BK to say he expected yobo deal to be completed in 'next few days' (that was a week yesterday) and that "there were no other offers" for Yobo. It seemed to indicated a week hand, combined with noise about us needing the money urgently to get our own transfer activity moving.
None of that stuff gives us a strong hand. They should say stuff about how we have 'some' money etc and bank can lend on certain deals whilst we are waiting to sell others etc but that we do not overpay for or undersell players - we do business at correct price - that looks more relaxed and measured {Ed025's Note - iv got to say...i agree with you.

A lot changed due to the match fixing accusations over in turkey. without that i would have expected joey to be gone {Ed025's Note - good point

I see that Chesterfield FC have started a new initiative for the over 65's called 'walking football', whereby the players are not allowed to run with ball. Do you think that they'd take the Yak on loan?
Believable31
Unbelievable3
Hahaha absolute quality, the Yak is unbeliveably lazy though ...

Hargreaves to come to Goodison on Pay per Play basis {Ed024's Note - if stays fit he is a quality player would certainly improve squad, would be competition from other North West clubs
Believable12
Unbelievable22
I've heard this + rodwell to united for 22m
Agree0
Disagree0
There would be no deal with united cause he is a free agent
Agree0
Disagree0
He has been released by Utd hasn't he? {Ed024's Note - yes
Agree0
Disagree0
I think this fan is suggesting two separate rumours... 1) that Hargreaves is coming to us on PAYP deal and 2) Rodders going to Utd for £22M. For what it's worth(), I am agreeable to both
Agree0
Disagree0
Do we really want to take a risk? {Ed025's Note - on PAYP.....yes.
Agree0
Disagree0
Absolutely he's worth a risk but strictly PAYP deal. {Ed025's Note - there can be no other scenario!

PSG Panther - this from a good friend who works behind the scenes at finch farm - Defoe spotted in Well known Liverpool hotel last night thrashing out personal terms before signing as he thinks he can become englands number 1 front man with first team football.
Believable18
Unbelievable26
Yes I also heard that from some taxi driver last night Fingers crossed.
Agree0
Disagree0
Would mean Rodwell leaving I guess to pay for him. I thought wages would be a huge stumbling point
Agree0
Disagree0
I'd love to see Defoe in a blue shirt. Sadly, I cannot see anything in this rumour {Ed025's Note - i think it would be a good move ,for both parties.
Agree0
Disagree0
Possiblity if he takes a wage cut would like to rodwell going the other way. strange thou this as a friend did tell me this may have some legs this one major coup
Agree0
Disagree0
A tall and strong striker would be more better
Agree0
Disagree0
A tall strong striker? Who like zigic or crouch? Ha Don't make me laugh Defoe is pure goals from all areas If we could bag both him an nzogbia I could really see a challange as I think arsenal r slipping away
