Naismith has always said he doenst want to leave rangers and has said he want to end his career at there so theese rumers should stop! if it was true that everything had been agreed then why would sky sports not know untill they say it i dont think it is true! i know you want him because he a good player but just face he not comming!

Who knows - what will be will be - I don't think it's a good idea to wind rangers people up though is it? Everton are not willing to pay the 6m price tag on Steven Peinaar but could strike on other basicis, with maybe 6m with Peinaar signing and Defoe (loan)or Jenas going to us

Lewis Holtby been on Talk Sport this pm, though he mentioned EFC, he spoke more about wanting to join Arsenal, apparently they were interested in January....

Not quite true mate, I listened to it and he definitely didn't give a preference. He said both Everton and Arsenal were interesting and his Dad was an Efc fan. He's keen to play prem league and he said he would at some stage of career.

Didnt listen hard enough, as the other chap said they pushed him more on Arsenal, and he went on describing Arse as the type of football he would like to play, never mentioned EFC only that we were one of his 2 teams he liked.

He's got 1 year left hopefully his daddy will convince him that we're a great place to
Go and he will be living his dream playing for his boyhood club I mean if we can't pay for him now we should try to agree a pre contract agreement. I listened to the interview as well, to me it was bias journalism, he mentioned Everton before Arsenal, but the interviewer kept on pushing the notion of playing for Arsenal.

I still think he would jump at the chance to play for Everton, unfortunately, even though he only has 1yr on his contract, seems to be out of our grasp, such a shame because I watch a lot of Bundesliga, and when he played for Schalke he impressed me, but his loan spell at Borussia M was where he really impressed me.

My mate said he seen a Black Aston Martin leave Goodison Park earlier today,not jumping to conclusions but Steven Pienaar does have one and maybe signing a pre agreement to return to Everton !!

Heard from quite a few people who seem to get good transfer info and generally quite spot on that we are going to sign both Clint Dempsey and Grant Holt. I'd be happy with that along with Pienaar, Naismith and Clyne. Also fingers crossed we don't sell any of are top players! COYB!

You do realise that Dempsey would cost in excess of 6mil (not to mention he has said he wants to play CL). Imagine Norwich would want a considerable fee for Holt (lets say 7mil). Pienaar will take 4-5mil, Naismith 2mil and Clyne would be around the 5-6mil mark.

So that is 24mil right there mate, and unless we sell someone like a Fellaini, no chance.

For me, sign Pienaar, keep Bainesy and Screech and I think Europe is a decent shot

Just a thought, but I wouldn't read anything into comments made by any of the squad about other Everton players. We all know that the players are currently not with the Everton Press Officer just their respective FA Press officer so journos' questions regarding the transfer market do not get "fielded",and their responses while guarded are edited and put in a way that hints or suggests something is going on when the players are just trying to be accommodating in a bland response during interviews .
As the old saying goes don't believe everything you read in the papers, especially jealous one about our prize possessions.

I feel bad on whealan, we all know that they clearly did approach wigan for Martinez and he turned them down, but he is being made to look like a lier so Rodgers thinks that he was first choice. If The sh*te would of delt with it properly and told whealan not to say anything in the first place like any other football club would have done they wouldn't even be in this situation.
