Naismith has always said he doenst want to leave rangers and has said he want to end his career at there so theese rumers should stop! if it was true that everything had been agreed then why would sky sports not know untill they say it i dont think it is true! i know you want him because he a good player but just face he not comming!

Believable11 Unbelievable20

A desperate deluded rangers fan living in hope.. He's going mate face it, thanks for Jelavic by the way, well worth 5 million you mugs

Agree1 Disagree0

If your vertion is correct, he must be telling differant people differant things. This player has indicated, in the strongest terms, that he is desperate to join everton, and will do so as soon as he can.

Agree1 Disagree0

Unhappy rangers fan hey, unlucky son, he's leaving.

Agree1 Disagree0

Thats what you'd like to believe.. but sorry mate gotta accept the inevitability

Agree0 Disagree0

That's also what arteta said to everton........

TC

Agree1 Disagree0

Who knows - what will be will be - I don't think it's a good idea to wind rangers people up though is it? Calling people mugs isn't good - especially when you might want to deal with them again - keep it civil ya numpty. We're often a selling club as well remember - does that make us mugs? {Ed025's Note - good point mate...its not the supporters fault..

Agree1 Disagree1

You got Arteta from real sociadad not rangers

Agree1 Disagree0

Who you calling a mug! it wont be that when you lose your key players felanni, bains and yes jelavic was a good buy not our fault! the amount of times before you signed jelavic he was slated for being in Scotland so who the mugs now that show he is good enough! btw am not gonna slag everton becuase i dont mind the club but dont call me a mug when we will see that Naismith wont join you! and you will be the first to here about it!

Agree1 Disagree0

No one has suggested that we got Arteta from Rangers, simply that he said he wanted to stay at Everton forever then left us for Arsenal. The point is that players (and clubs, managers and agents) say a lot of things that don't always hold up in the fullness of time. {Ed025's Note - thats true..

Agree0 Disagree0

Thank you for Jelavic, hows administration?

Agree1 Disagree0

LOL.
Interesting thread this one.
I thought there was a good relationship between Everton and Rangers,
considering al the players that have gone back and forward. Big Dunc, Ball,Weir,
Arteta,Andy Gray,Jelavic,Stuart McCall,
Trevor Steven etc.

Apparently we have agreed a fee for Naismith with rangers, around £2million but we are waiting for him to get back from holiday to sign the contract. So everyone who thought he was at Goodison today, stop kidding yourself!

Believable8 Unbelievable17

There would be no fee agreed it would just triggar the clause in his contract so you lie!

Everton are not willing to pay the 6m price tag on Steven Peinaar but could strike on other basicis, with maybe 6m with Peinaar signing and Defoe (loan)or Jenas going to us

Believable2 Unbelievable24

Jenas plays for villa

Agree1 Disagree1

No Jenas was on loan to Villa

Agree1 Disagree1

If we sell Baines to Man Utd (and my business head says now is the time to sell for the right money) - why not get Evra as part of the deal otherwise just £20m plus straight cash.

Lewis Holtby been on Talk Sport this pm, though he mentioned EFC, he spoke more about wanting to join Arsenal, apparently they were interested in January....

Believable18 Unbelievable11

They did push him abit on arsenal, I think he'd be more than happy to join either side but we probably wont have the money {Ed025's Note - sadly, thats true..

Agree0 Disagree0

Not quite true mate, I listened to it and he definitely didn't give a preference. He said both Everton and Arsenal were interesting and his Dad was an Efc fan. He's keen to play prem league and he said he would at some stage of career.

Agree0 Disagree0

Didnt listen hard enough, as the other chap said they pushed him more on Arsenal, and he went on describing Arse as the type of football he would like to play, never mentioned EFC only that we were one of his 2 teams he liked.

Agree1 Disagree0

He's got 1 year left hopefully his daddy will convince him that we're a great place to
Go and he will be living his dream playing for his boyhood club I mean if we can't pay for him now we should try to agree a pre contract agreement. Although because of his contract situation and arsenal being interested they will probably try to bolster their midfield getting him on the cheap although I would love him at this great club and I'm sure deep down so would he and his dad I believe he will go to arsenal

Agree1 Disagree0

I listened to the interview as well, to me it was bias journalism, he mentioned Everton before Arsenal, but the interviewer kept on pushing the notion of playing for Arsenal.

I still think he would jump at the chance to play for Everton, unfortunately, even though he only has 1yr on his contract, seems to be out of our grasp, such a shame because I watch a lot of Bundesliga, and when he played for Schalke he impressed me, but his loan spell at Borussia M was where he really impressed me.

Everton interested in Jordan Rhodes

There are also Everton of David Moyes, interested in the striker of Huddersfield, Jordan Rhodes. The young talent is also appreciated by West Ham and Celtic, with a worth about 4 million pounds.

My mate said he seen a Black Aston Martin leave Goodison Park earlier today, not jumping to conclusions but Steven Pienaar does have one and maybe signing a pre agreement to return to Everton !!

Believable13 Unbelievable21

Steven Pienaar is back home in South Africa playing world cup qualifiers.

Agree0 Disagree1

He's also been disqualified from driving.

Agree1 Disagree0

Agree1 Disagree0

Herd Everton ate interested in Foward Lacina Traore,I dont know much about him but he's previously been linked with Aston Villa with a rumoured price of 6m surely out of our price range for player especially with Steven Pienaar being top target and rumours of Steven Naismith deal soon to been done flying about, thoughts ....

Believable7 Unbelievable21

The number plate embellishment makes me doubt this.

Think it's fair to say if we get Pienaar in and then keep Fellaini and Baines that'll be a good summer for us. I still think we're a bit light upfront and Dempsey would be a great buy but if we only have 5-6 million we have to bring Pienaar in. Our performances since he came back were greatly improved, chances are we'd of won the semi final if we had him there. We probably do still need some extra fire power and perhaps if we get rid of the dead wood (Yobo, Silva i.e.) we'll have enough to scrape together a decent loan deal or perhaps use it for the wages of a free transfer (Rodallega, Andy Johnson, Michael Owen on pay as you play maybe? or possibly even Louis Saha just to stir things up)

Believable5 Unbelievable18

Saha wont stir things up, neither will Owen

Degsy {Ed025's Note - your right degsy..

Agree0 Disagree0

We actually started playing better when that useless Saha went! {Ed025's Note - we did mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't exactly call Silva deadwood...
Bobcat

Agree0 Disagree0

Why people always mentions only pienaar about our better performances? Gibson and Jelavic deserve credits aswel, three players turned everton into a good team again, not pienaar alone.

hazzaL {Ed025's Note - i dont think araz will be coming back this season hazza....but i think you are close with them targets mate..

Heard from quite a few people who seem to get good transfer info and generally quite spot on that we are going to sign both Clint Dempsey and Grant Holt. I'd be happy with that along with Pienaar, Naismith and Clyne. Also fingers crossed we don't sell any of are top players! COYB!

Martin.

Believable5 Unbelievable24

Who does Clyne play for

Agree0 Disagree0

You do realise that Dempsey would cost in excess of 6mil (not to mention he has said he wants to play CL). Imagine Norwich would want a considerable fee for Holt (lets say 7mil). Pienaar will take 4-5mil, Naismith 2mil and Clyne would be around the 5-6mil mark.

So that is 24mil right there mate, and unless we sell someone like a Fellaini, no chance.

For me, sign Pienaar, keep Bainesy and Screech and I think Europe is a decent shot

Agree1 Disagree1

U going too give moyes the money? Come on people we havent got a pot to piss in

Agree1 Disagree0

Why do we need all the players mentioned above, Moyes can only play 11 men.
(Colin the Chef)

Agree0 Disagree1

That would cost a minimum of 20 million and i am very sure we dont have that amount to spend.

Agree1 Disagree0

I dont want Holt.! Pienaar and Maybe Rodallega would do for me. Dempsey and Clyne would cost too much Dollar

Agree1 Disagree0

Just passing on what I've heard fellas, I remember we didn't have a pot to piss in then suddenly we spent £15 million on Fellaini. I know Moyes can only play 11 players but abit of squad depth wouldn't go a miss would it? It pains me to say but I feel Cahill will move on along with Mucha, so we'll save a few bob on wages and get around £3 million for Cahill. There's got to be something going on behind the scenes I feel, both BK and DM know we don't actually need to spend that much to challenge for top 4, so this is goin to be the year BK puts his hands in his pocket. Martin {Ed025's Note - i hope your right marty..

Agree1 Disagree0

We dont have that much! Although I dont think Holt would cost £7m maybe £4m?

Agree1 Disagree0

IF WE WONT TO FINISH TOP 4 WE HAVE TO SPEND ,MAN U, MAN CITY, CHEKSKI, ARSE WILL ALL HAVE CASH TO SPEND AND SO WILL A FEW OTHER CLUBS NEWCASTLE SPURS IF WE DON'T WE WILL LAG BEHIND {Ed025's Note - now thats what i call....stating the bleedin obvious..

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jun 2012 11:56:19
Gago available for £5mil. Absolutely class midfielder. If we lose fellaini he is a definite purchase. AJ :]

Believable16 Unbelievable15

Where does he play in the team

Agree1 Disagree0

He's awful, just another Drenthe. Looks good because he played for Madrid, but goes out on loan and the loan club refuse to commit

Agree0 Disagree0

Better than Drenthe and I think Drenthe had potential but an awful attitude whereas I dont believe Gago has had any disciplinary problems
Joe EFC

Agree1 Disagree0

Completely different player to drenthe in style and ability. Drenthe barely played for madrid and gago was good this year for roma. they could not sign him due to their managerial trouble

Agree0 Disagree0

No that's not true at all, he has been below average, and they bid £5m for him, so they obviously could sign him, as it's nothing to do with the manager if they sign or not

Good morning fellow blues and Eds

Just a thought, but I wouldn't read anything into comments made by any of the squad about other Everton players. We all know that the players are currently not with the Everton Press Officer just their respective FA Press officer so journos' questions regarding the transfer market do not get "fielded",and their responses while guarded are edited and put in a way that hints or suggests something is going on when the players are just trying to be accommodating in a bland response during interviews .
As the old saying goes don't believe everything you read in the papers, especially jealous one about our prize possessions.

Big C {Ed025's Note - wise words as usual big c..

hey ed.. how you so comfident about the naismith deal man? {Ed025's Note - one of the scottish eds knows him, and he said that he wants to come, and moyes has approached rangers, so to me it seems very likely..

Believable14 Unbelievable12

Hope your right but the longer it goes on makes me doubt it we havent got a good record in that area when things dwell on we usually dont suceed

I see Ian are from the gobs**tes taking a swipe at Dave whealan from wigan saying he is the best comedian in merseyside lets see who's laughing in January are when you and buck Rodgers are out of a job can't wait happy new year early nobhead use sound so desperate and defeated the ship is sinking faster than the titanic at the end of the day us football fans know no one wanted the Liverpool job thought Rodgers had more footballing brains than that did they give him a five year deal no unlucky scapegoat

Believable13 Unbelievable6

I feel bad on whealan, we all know that they clearly did approach wigan for Martinez and he turned them down, but he is being made to look like a lier so Rodgers thinks that he was first choice. If The sh*te would of delt with it properly and told whealan not to say anything in the first place like any other football club would have done they wouldn't even be in this situation.
