Hamburg midfielder Tomas Rincon is eyeing a move to the Premier League after turning down a new deal at the German club. Source: ssn. This seems a real possibility to me. RM seems to like South American signings and the Venezuela international is out of contract in the Summer.

Everton set to land Dundee United starlet Andrew Robertson in £750k deal

TOFFEES boss Roberto Martinez is keen to snap up the highly-rated defender but is willing to let him return to United on loan until the end of the season

EVERTON hope to sign Dundee United starlet Andrew Robertson this month after Roberto Martinez made his move for the highly-rated full-back.

The Goodison Park gaffer took in United's 2-2 draw with Hibs on Sunday and made
contact with the player's representative and now hopes to conclude a deal for around £750,000.

Martinez is also willing to loan the teenager back to the Taysiders for the second half of the season before he joins the Merseysiders at the start of the next campaign.

Tannadice chairman Stephen Thompson is currently on holiday in America and no deal can be finalised until he returns from his break in the States.

But Martinez spoke with United officials in Thompson's absence and a deal now looks to be on the cards for the player who has enjoyed a meteoric rise.

do we need him? we still have oviedo as long term left back, we still have the, for some reason, highly thought of luke garbutt, ibou touray and baines is still here? another young player though so won't complain, would love us to get john souttar from them aswell

Heard off a good source that Ince, Mcgready and the 4 boys from Dundee to sign 100% in jan. 4 players will be loaned back to them until next season and Johnny H, Tony H and Osman leaving to make space.

Surely we're not taking 4 Dundee Utd players on, loaning them back for half a season AND getting rid of Johnny, Hibbo and Osman? That's just diminishing the squad, even if we get Ince and McGeady. That's definitely not 'finishing the transfer window stronger than we started it', as El Bobby said he wants to do.

Was told that Martinez wants to sign loan players but can't because got Barry, dela and lukaku (sorry for spelling) so can't loan anymore unless can sign Barry full time. With stones playing well no need for Hibbo. Loads midfielders so no need for Osmsn.

Really can't see this at all. I know there is a piss take ITK about on twitter saying a premier league team were going to offer £7.5m for Samares and also that some brazilian star is on his way to barnsley. There are loads more that are a complete joke

Everton were interested in Ledley, whose contract is also up in June, but it's looking more than likely he will sign a new deal at Celtic. You're best ignoring all the ITK clowns on Tw@tter.}
