Listen everyone i know its hard trying to understand that we have no money but its just the way it is. We haven't had money for a long time, is it not obvious, we only spent money on players after we sold player's. So were going to have to sell a big player to be able to buy someone, if not then the team is going to be pretty much the same as last season with maybe a loan signing and a free transfer {Ed025's Note - although i hate to say it....i think you may be right..

Believable28 Unbelievable4

I agree we dont need a load of players any way the nucleus of the team is stong we just need a couple more imwt

Agree0 Disagree0

Spot on mate been like that for years but we are a well run club remember lol PADDOCKBLUE

Agree0 Disagree0

Sense spoken but it doesnt make you feel any better

Agree0 Disagree0

Yea its right, for yers now we have only spent money after we have sold players...... since 2004- rooney, johnson, mcfadden, lescott thats basically the money we have used over the last 5 years to buy new players. Last season we sold no-one so therfore we bought no "big" player's. Your spot on

Everton will sign Lassana Diarra on a season long loan from Real Madrid and will also sign Beram Kayal if/when Yobo is sold. Paris Saint-Germain will also make an attempt to bring Mikel Arteta back to the Parc des Princes before the end of the transfer window.

Believable13 Unbelievable30

What a load of nonsense you need to lay off the gear lad

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha...what a load of s**te....live in the real world...we have two pennies to rub together

Agree0 Disagree0

Bahahahahahaha

No chance will a highly rated, highly wanted, expensive real madrid buy like diarra move on loan to everton.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just found out off mate of mine that this could be true

Agree0 Disagree0

Off to spurs to link up again with harry

everton to get messi and cristiano ronaldo on a free transfer :) only joking we will give them yobo and yakubu in a swap deal

Believable26 Unbelievable11

Why do so many idiots use this forum?

Agree0 Disagree0

Have some banter, it's the only thing that keeps us Blues going {Ed025's Note - and my god....how we need it..

Agree0 Disagree0

Why waste everyone's time writing this rubbish

Agree0 Disagree0

Not as if there's anything else happening that's not "rubbish"...

Agree0 Disagree0

It's the repetitive nature of it that grits my $hit. If you've got sensible rumours you've heard, feel free to post them. Otherwise keep your 'jokes' to yourself...or better still, how about invading the Norwegians site, see if you can get them to raise a smile.

Agree0 Disagree0

As long as they don't get their hands on hibbo

Agree0 Disagree0

Can I enquire what the reference to Norwegians is about? I know its reffering to Dogleishs mutts. Just curious exactly what the reference is about. Excuse my ignorance

Every time Moyes looks at a player the copy cat no-brainers like Redknapp and Pardew try to sign them instead. "If Moyes likes him he must be good - so we'll have him instead, as we can bid more" - then they get them and can't do what Moyes does and turn them into a good player.
You'd think some of these lower team players would much rather have Moyes coaching them than Harry 'stick him on the bench then out on loan' Redknapp wrecking their careers but they don't seem to see it like that. Look at what Moyes did for, Jags Baines and Lescott.
Moyes can make a Championship player into an england International - so why aren't some of these thick players not queuing to sign for Everton/Moyes?
Their loss anyway. {Ed025's Note - great post mate...i agree with all that

Believable54 Unbelievable6

I agree with you mate....great manager and motivator. Imagine what he could do with sime investment though {Ed025's Note - i dream about it every day..

Agree0 Disagree0

Its no wonder everton are being very quiet about signings when old bull dog face keeps nicking our targets {Ed024's Note - who wedknapp!!!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Money, money, money

Agree0 Disagree0

I've thought this for a long time and decided that when agents want to build up their player and get managers interested they float a story that Moyes is interested in them, usually the likes of Redknapp and Bruce then come sniffing and sign them
Kilgallon, Naughton, Westwood, Lorik Cana to name just a few

Agree0 Disagree0

High opinions/confidence in ability rules teir head....also money (more specifically, wages) talks

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolutely correct mate Just look at all the really good talent that is wasting away at Tottenham? Mind you, Bruce is now "copying" the moyes style of bringing in players surplus to requirements at Man Utd

Agree0 Disagree0

GREED AND MORE GREED they look at the wages not the chance to further there careers

Agree0 Disagree0

Great point mate, we bought Jags, Baines and Lescott for something like 5 million each, now they are worth 20 each, that says it all about what Moyes can do, unlike the Kopites who now waste 30 million on useless players like Carroll

It is highly possible no signings will be made, however few will be leaving us too, I doubt Rodwell will go because Moyes doesn't want to lose him at all.
Howard
Neville - Jags - Distin - Baines
Osman - Felli - Cahill/Arteta
Coleman - Saha/Becks - Gueye

Believable32 Unbelievable11

No place for Rodwell?

Agree0 Disagree0

Start googling the Irish amateur league for players available on free transfers . {Ed025's Note - have you signed a player have you?...he could,nt get a game for rangers...you reds amaze me...

Agree0 Disagree0

Still don't think Rodwell is good enough for our starting XI, we have too many good CM's currently, when Osman and Cahill get older and Rodwell gets more experience I believe he will come into the side(if he's still there) {Ed025's Note - good point

Agree0 Disagree0

NO WAY, did u see him in the under 21 euros, he was awful. no wonder no one wants to take him {Ed025's Note - lots of clubs want him..its the price?.....if henderson is anything to go by.....his value must be £30 m

Agree0 Disagree0

Ur right henderson was awful in the under 21's also like...but in a way odwell has taken backwards steps rather than pushing on. just feel if some1 coughs up 20mil we shud drive him asap

What i cant understand is if everton have no money why did the director of sporting lisbon say "we turned down a 6million offer from everton for yannick djalo in january" ? the ajax chairman " we rebuffed a 9million pound offer for jan verthongen from everton in january ". However it does seem like we cant afford a down payment for t he brilliant n'zogbia. Are we simply making bids we know wont be accepted so it looks good ? are the presidents of the other clubs lying ? or do we have a bit of money and david is waiting for the right player? the quotes are true research them yourselves via ajax and lisbon, what do we think which scenario is it ?. i hope we get long and n'zogbia but i think is more likely mclean from derry and vaughan from blackpool. {Ed024's Note - I think we have some cash and Moyes will spend it on the players he wants and not what fans/press/tv say he wants, other clubs are just as likely to mention that we have bid for their players to increase interest in them and to show what they have already refused to accept. Moyes will make the moves for the players he wants last transfer window we were linked to 127 players, how many did we sign?

Believable24 Unbelievable3

Totally agree ith ya ED, the transfer window is more for the fans and so the rags can sell a few more papers. Most of it is all hype. Moyes came out and said dont believe the hype. so we just have to trust in out great club that they will come good for us. COYB

Agree0 Disagree0

Where renowned for puttin bids in that wont get accepted look at the so called 12 million we bidded for alan shearer in 1996 after blackburn had already accepted newcastles offer of 15 million.

Agree0 Disagree0

Also this summer we had a £10 million bid accepted for Gervinho.

Personally, i think we have some cash but so as not to get ripped off on rising costs

It's reported today that Newcastle are interested in Shane Long. BK & DM need to get cracking.

Believable19 Unbelievable4

How are they going to get cracking with no money; it's all about the money, and sadly, we have none

Agree0 Disagree0

True we have all got to realise this an we r light years behind many clubs and it pains me an no doubt us all to see them over the park spending milions like gutted {Ed025's Note - as sure as eggs is eggs...the investment WILL come...we have just got to be patient...i know its not easy but we have a great manager, who will see us through this.

Agree0 Disagree0

Investment we have been waiting for years and still none

Agree0 Disagree0

If we had major money to play with, do you really think that we'd be wasting it on he like's of Long.

morton gampst pedersen to join everton in the current transfer window if the bid for N'zogbia fails, also a swap involing yakubu for carlton cole could happen

Believable19 Unbelievable24

I HOPE SO I REALLY RATE PEDERSON HAVE DONE FOR A FEW YEARS NOW, AND I THINK COLE WILL DO A BETTER JOB THAN THE YAK SO GO FOR IT

TOFFEE SHAUN

Agree0 Disagree0

Two awful, awful players Carlton Cole is worse than Heskey, would rather we just kept Yak. Pederson is garbage too, no skill or pace at all {Ed025's Note - i would take pederson...but dont rate cole

Agree0 Disagree0

I've always liked Pedersen personally, but he hasn't been on his game for a few seasons now so it could be risky taking someone like him on board.

Agree0 Disagree0

God I hope not. Yak might be 45 years old and slower than a cart hourse but Cole hopless and very over-rated.

Agree0 Disagree0

Pedersen is a good player, but i dont think he is really what we need.

Agree0 Disagree0

Pedersen hasnt done much lately but the change might do him good

Andy Lonergan will choose between Leeds or Everton in the next 48 hours.

The 27-year-old Preston keeper was ready to tie up a £200,000 move to Elland Road.

But Everton, who took on Lonergan for training last season, have made a late counter-move. {Ed024's Note - If he signs it makes way for Mucha to be sold

Believable23 Unbelievable5

Why would u pay £200,000 for someone that is on a free

Agree0 Disagree0

Lonergan is under contract at Preston {Ed024's Note - correct a fee would be required he is not a free

Agree0 Disagree0

Met Lonergan's brother in Hamburg at the boxing as it happens. Mucha is apparently on his way to Austria. We want to bring in two more goalkeepers and Andy Lonergan said he is not prepared to be second or probably even third choice at Everton. That's not bulls**t either

Wes Brown and John Oshea off to Sunderland, lucky escape {Ed024's Note - Agreed two decent defenders but both 30+ and at 4m each money we don't need to spend at the back

Believable19 Unbelievable3

To be honest Ed i would let Heitinga go for say 6-8m and take o'shea at 3m. Would have given us good cover accross back four and freed up extra cash for wingers and strikers which is what we really need {Ed024's Note - fair point but I think it's time to starting some of the great youngsters we have, Duffy at the back

Agree0 Disagree0

Jonny H over O'shea every day of the week for me sorry lads.

Younger and when he plays CB he does a job there.

Steve J (Blue nose)

Agree0 Disagree0

Glad bruce has bought these 2 to much to spend when weve got cover already
