Everton officials are due to fly out to Moscow this week. But not for the Honda deal. It is doumbia they are trying to sign

Believable8 Unbelievable15

What's the source hope this is true

Agree0 Disagree0

I would hope your wrong want honda if we sign this guy and kone Martinez said look at bringing in 3-4 players why would he buy 2 strikers

Agree0 Disagree0

Both are from Ivory Coast. Could be an incentive to sign. Always good to have a mate in the squad.

Certain teams are jinxed, can remember the way man city behaved over lescott deal with there big bags of money and no respect, I think we went on to win something like 6/8 games they hate playing us,
Looking back on last year two of the most memorable goals were against city that superb strike from outside the box of osman and then jelavics first goal in a long time in the 94 th min absolute class,
What was your best goal from last season, o and baines free kick

Believable3 Unbelievable5

Oh and I hope we have jinxed Utd they could be our next team to jinx, moyes will hate playing us

Agree0 Disagree0

Mirallas goal against West Ham. what a team effort that was and I think that's how Martinez will want to play the game. brilliant goal

Just got a good bit of info from my source and he tells me that David Vaughan from Sunderland is a fine deal for an initial fee of £12m plus add ons which could see the fee rise to £15m. {Ed025's Note - that did make me smile...not only is he championship standard, but would be worth about a tenth of that..

Believable9 Unbelievable21

Wouldn't even pay 15p for him, run along back to the red site.

Agree0 Disagree1

What is the Dodgy Rumours page for Ed if not for this haha?! {Ed025's Note - i thought it was funny AJ and wanted to share..

Agree0 Disagree0

Apologies for this 'rumour' Ed and others. Came back upstairs and my nephew had a big grin on his face and just spilled the beans. He's only 13 and is a bit wicked and mischievous, bloody Utd fan too. {Ed025's Note - i forgive him mate...with him being a utd fan..he cant be a full shilling.. :)

Agree0 Disagree0

More like he is going back Crewe Alexandra league 1 is his standard

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha. You put 12 million you missed the point out 1.2 million and then i'd think we was robbed haha. vaughn is league 1 at best.

Agree0 Disagree0

Think everyone missed the point here, the most unbelievable part of the rumour was that we were spending 15 million

Agree0 Disagree0

And I heard moyse swas after osman

Agree0 Disagree0

Fair play to the kid full shilling or not, what i'm worried about it 8 people believed this. Hope they are not EVERTONIANS

Cska saying ball in ac Milan court looks like we lost out on another target thanks ed {Ed025's Note - in the end, it will be down to honda and his agent..

Believable11 Unbelievable1

Have we defo made an offer ed? {Ed025's Note - im not 100% sure mike, but we have been in constant discussion with CSKA and his agent, we may be waiting for milan to make the opening gambit..

He's been offered on a plate to both everton and Liverpool, Liverpool rejected because of coutinhio and typical us have offered instalments instead of £5 mill full fee

It will be down to whether we've made a bid or not, at least. and we haven't!

Agree0 Disagree0

I love how deals ghetto done at a leisurely pace at the moment and all clubs say transfers take a while to complete then come the last day they get them done in a few hours to me it's straight forward

Step 1: submit bid
Step 2: talk to player and agent
Step 3: medical
Step 4: agree contract and sign on dotted line

It's not rocket science maybe kenwright does acting work with them and a dress rehearsal

I know everybody is talking about who we are after buying but not many rumours about whe were selling and surely that's key to who we can buy ie transfer money and getting wages of our wage bill,
Has anybody heard anything

Erm no considering he's already agreed to go back on loan to athletics Madrid for another season {Ed007's Note - It's the season after that the OP was asking about, 2014-15. Maybe you should try and post something constructive rather than failing at trying to be a smart ar$e. No wonder you never left a name.}

Which Doumbia is it that we're looking at? Is it the CSKA Striker, or Tonga Doumbia, the Rennes defender we've been linked with in the past? Sorry, I've not been keeping up. {Ed025's Note - the CSKA one..

Reports say Martinez has blocked bids for Naismith this summer, I would seriously give him another season, played out of position by Moyes and I think Martinez can get the best out of him.

Believable14 Unbelievable6

He got a few goals for a man playing bit parts and out of position. I always felt sorry for him, bought to be the second striker, never got a chance. Classic Moyes forward killing. Under Martinez behind Jelly or Kone with footballers playing through the midfield I reckon we might see the best of him. JP

Agree1 Disagree0

No. You say that about someone who showed signs of talent, but was generally poor. Not someone who was just shocking for every minute of every game.

Agree1 Disagree0

Once a defender, always a defender. Moyes was always a good defensive manager, but his attacking tactics were limited. He rarely used attacking players in their preferred positions, just tried to make players fit his system. I think a lot of players are going to respond well to Roberto's attacking style, especially Jelly and Naismith. These two worked really well together for Rangers as a strike force, not quite as impressive as the deadly combo of Baines and Peanuts, but still a good little unit. Martinez revitalised McCarthy's career at Wigan, when he was on the decline. You never know, if he can get the best out of Naismith, he might become the best money we never spent.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would agree with you on that Mike, obviously Roberto see's something he likes and thinks he can improve on so that will do for me.

And perhaps it will go some way towards ending the ridiculous rumours that the board will sell anyone to recoup money, let's face it we got the lad on a free, a lot of fans would not complain if he went for a profit, and the press report it was Roberto that put the blocks on it, not so much of a yes man as some would have us believe.

Agree0 Disagree0

I just hope he wears lighter boots. The ones he played in last season looked like they had lead in them.

Agree0 Disagree0

Awful player, he's absolutely garbage.

Agree0 Disagree0

Onlyhaveeyesforblue:

You said that Martinez revitalised McCarthy's career at Wigan when he was on the decline. Martinez took charge at Wigan in 2009, McCarthy was 19. I don't think you can really say someones career is in decline at the tender age of 19. that's just absurd mate.

Hi guys, what about Doumbia, Honda, Deulofeu something new? I would like to see these guys in our team! :)

Believable7 Unbelievable8

Honda and doumbia as starters delefou offering something off the bench we'd definitely score more
Quinny

Agree1 Disagree1

You're in wonderland if you think we could attract Doumbia and Honda.

As for Deulofeu, he may use us as a stepping stone on loan next season, let's see.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we could attract players like Honda and Doumbia. We have got some top quality players, so why won't players like this join and strengthen the weaker parts of the team. Honda, Doumbia, deulofeu and Kone would add quality and depth. These would be quality signings, and are not out of reach. We have got the best LB in the world, one of the best premier league CM's, One of the best CB's in the premier league, and other great talent, such as Howard, Coleman, Pienaar and Mirallas.

I would like to see us make a bid for Jese Rodriguez from Madrid, he has announced he wants to leave to become a first-team player. he's very young, skilful and knows where the net is

Believable8 Unbelievable4

I know where the net is - in between the goal posts. Doesn't mean I can hit it.

07 Jul 2013 11:25:45
Its not a 100% guarantee but a friend of mine (who has been very reliable in the past) has told me that Moyes is happy for fellaini to stay at Everton for another season but may be forced to act soon to bring him to Man U if Arsenal make a move.

Believable2 Unbelievable9

Not bein funny mate but its not up to moyes were felli goes he's not our manager any more

Agree2 Disagree0

How has moyes got anything to do with Fellaini's future now? I appreciate what you are trying to say but if its time to sell him, surely it's to the highest bidder. what's best for everton not moyes

Tim

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't know if this is true, but does fellaini's buy out option lapse in mid august? If so it's everton who then control when, if and how much he goes for.

Agree0 Disagree0

LOL at the naivity of the op. How is Moyes dictating where and well Felliani goes. Like he's doing us a favour not bidding for him? He's showed his true colours by bidding for Baines WHILE he was still being paid by Everton. Moyes can F off now for me. s***bag of a trick that.

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree with paddock blue. Why on earth he couldn't wait until he started his new job is beyond me. It was a disgrace to go for our star player whilst still being paid by Everton. Moyes knows that baines is a integral part of our team and losing him could potentially affect us on the pitch greatly. Moyes needs to leave well alone. Moyes doesn't have any loyalty to Everton who gave him the opportunity to manage in the prem. the fact that he was seen with manc fans in Manchester before the season ended and now bidding for baines is poor from moyes and my respect has totally gone for him. Cannot wait for the new season with Bobby.

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jul 2013 20:24:01
