I wouldn't swap lukaku for barkley plus cash. I think lukaku would use us as a stepping stone for a year or two max and that's even if he would want to join whereas I think barkley could be a loyal player and stay for a number of years and help us do well Agree Cheeks Although I rate Ross very highly there is globally a lot of players who can play his role, Chelsea already have several. Lukaku on the other hand is an incredibly rare breed that apart from Drogba in the modern era I can't think of another incredibly strong, quick and technically gifted centre forward, Zlatan is strong and technical, Falcao to some extent but beasts with skill come around once in a blue moon. If anything it would be us offering Ross and 20 mill not the other way around Why would we give them Barkley and cash for Lukaku? Daft shout that Svenny.
