vadis not coming. its on the club brugge website deal done too late player staying at bruges.

Believable6 Unbelievable5

Wonder if there is an appeal process we could do, if not get him in january

Agree0 Disagree1

I reckon we will get him in January just depends whether we can hold on to January with injuries and that we will need to have more depth in the centre of midfield cause without Gibson there is no stability

Agree0 Disagree0

Massively disappointed this guy looks a proper player and with gibbo being out for 4 or so wks just goes to show how thin our squad is. Oh well on the EFC website says everton to look at all options available so it may still come off but I won't be holding my breath. Seems we didn't grease enough palms

How about a possitive game.
Which player past or present would you describe as the perfect player for our club.
Whether it be cos of skill or commitment.

Believable5 Unbelievable2

Tim Cahill........ Certainly under the Moyes era, he was everything Moyes wanted from a player.
You knew if Tim was in the team he would literally run through a brick wall for us, never complained, played anywhere, any position, committed, worked hard, passionate, never went hiding in any game weather it was a big game or a game against lower opposition. Scored in vital games. Brilliant.

Fifa have denied us the chance to sign Odjidja.
Typical of them. If it was Barcelona or Inter Milan I dont think we would be having this same result!!!

Believable12 Unbelievable3

I agree whats the point in not agreeing to it if the Belgian FA, Premier league and English FA have all agreed and said that the paperwork was submitted on time. It seems bizarre. There must be something everton feel they can do by not releasing a statement at this time

I think him being appart of the club is great he's an everton support and is doing his best to keep his and our beloved club stable. Would be nice if he could find that owner/Investor to really pick us up. If it were to happen I'd like to see him keep like a special chairman's role like life time chairman or something

So my vote is a cross of PRO and ANTI

Agree1 Disagree0

Got to be pro. we are in a difficult econonomy both for the world and football, and bill is holding his own. Toffeedragon.

Agree0 Disagree0

Pro always pro ,too many people are too quick to judge bill and spit their dummies but look at the big picture ,were one of the best run and financially stable clubs in the country if not the world ,with what looks like a squad a hell of a lot of managers if not other chairmen are enviable of and it sickens me to witness season after season we have a bad patch and what can only be described as a fraction of fickle blues turn their attentions to kenwright ,vent their dissaproval, then forget about it all when we start picking up points.so yeah would have to say pro

Agree0 Disagree0

PRO. Excellent show of support for BK. I am aware that he hasn't got everything right but as far as I can see the only complaints against him are he doesn't have billions, he is not selling the club to any old twot that comes along with a pot of dosh, he is trying to keep the bank onside and he has dared to dream about locating to a new stadium, but God knows what was going through his mind with the Kirkby scheme. I am still amazed that the fans who are against him are so vitriolic and angry.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's quite telling that everybody visiting this site is pro Bill and rightly so. Between him and Moyes, they have put the doom mongers firmly in there place this summer with early additions to the squad. They told us nobody was to be sold unless the manager decided to let them go and they stuck to their word. We can't vent anger at them when players like Arteta or Lescott decide at the last minute they want to leave, giving us no time to replace them. The only problem Bill has got he is a millionaire and not a billionaire, hardly crime of the century! At least with him at the helm we have a steady ship and we will always try and live within our means. You only have to glance over the park to see how rubbishe a team can be even with hundreds of millions thrown around. Be glad we have a man in charge that has the club and fans best interests at heart. Pro for me

Agree0 Disagree0

Anti ale tanks.

Agree0 Disagree0

Anti big time, the man is a bare faced feather your own bed liar, he's never put two bob into Everton and when money has come in it's hocked, one day you wil all smell the coffee when he sells for a massive profit. Why will he not put a public price on the club? Sell for the debt like other great chairmen have done for a club they LOVE so much.
Brian A. {Ed025's Note - He makes business decisions on behalf of the club Brian, of course you are entitled to your opinion, but I think there is a lot worse out there mate..

Agree1 Disagree0

Like the Liverpool fans who feel they should be running the club - Spirit of Shankly et al - the anti Kenwright lobby seem to pride themselves on painting Kenwright as a snake oil doctor. They never propose a constructive alternative, other than fantasising about themselves as some kind of fans' choice chairman, once they've overthrown Kenwright's reign of terror.

In the face of a worldwide recession, with real hardship for many people, it's depressing to see Merseysiders - many of whom claim to be diehard socialists - 'embarrassed' by our lack of finance.

Agree0 Disagree1

Can't understand the Anti-Kenwright folk. We aren't the richest around but we're a lot better off now than before. Obviously, money would be nice but I'm happy with the way things are run.

Whats the hold up with fifa over the odjidja situation, its obvious bl**ters holding out for his usuall bribe nothing gets through without money crossing his corrupt palm. thgfest

Agree1 Disagree1

Blatter lol

Agree1 Disagree1

Crook! Why does he get away with so much shadyness?

Agree1 Disagree0

To be fair to to THG, I always feel dirty when Blatter comes up in conversation. I love the way he's attained a kind of "He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named" status.

Agree1 Disagree0

Blatter. thgfest

Agree1 Disagree0

For crying out loud - it's the name of the head of FIFA...allegedly!
SueGrabbitAndRun

Agree0 Disagree0

Doesn't fit "Old Chap" {Ed025's Note - It's up to FIFA mate..

Agree1 Disagree1

Think he means blatter is holding out for his usual bribe

Agree1 Disagree0

Nothing to do with him, we failed to register the player in time, but of course we are not allowed to criticise the clubs officials as that will result in us becoming Portsmouth or Blackburn.

Agree1 Disagree0

Both FAs xcepted the reason for late registration it has to be ratified would be strange if FIFA went against both FAs wouldn't blame the club he was third choice complex signing players today ask Liverpool

Agree1 Disagree0

Ha! I love the above comment - obviously Blatter doesn't oversee all of the admin involved in transfers, I'm pretty sure no-one was seriously suggesting that he does.

Equally, being involved in a bit of last minute business isn't evidence that we're badly run (and I'm someone who's still to be convinced that Uncle Bill is doing a particularly good job). It's just evidence that, well, we tried to do a bit of last minute business.

Agree1 Disagree0

He was registered with both fa's in time but FIFA did not clear it in time i am assuming international week just after the window is a bit busy, we just need to wait and see. Some people are to keen to slate the club before they have the facts.

Agree0 Disagree0

Paper work for the transfer went through before 11pm but can't we just sign him during the loan market? {Ed007's Note - EPL teams can't loan any players in outside of the window.}

Agree1 Disagree0

There wasn't enough money in euros for the payoff - er I mean fees and incidental expenses - until the European Central Bank announced the bailout yesterday :-) Once they've printed enough notes and the necessary transfer takes place we should hear more - allegedly, m'lud.
