I have doubled checked the siguardasson to us instead of wolves, and apparently we have agreed a fee for the region of £4 million on a four and a half year deal subject to amedical. I have read it on a couple of sites, so don't shoot the messenger.........

TC

Nothing on skysport. Stop lying please.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm wondering where "Sigurdarson's agreed a deal with Wolves" has come from. People on here were saying it was on SSN but I looked on the TV, the site and the app and it wasn't on any other sites. Where's it come from!?

Dave

Agree0 Disagree1

Dave it was on ssn yesterday but for some reason its not there now cos I've tried to look myself it was in the breaking news part. Huyton blue

Agree1 Disagree0

It's one of the top agreed with on your rumours (ssn) and wolves transfer news on twitter said we have agreed a fee for him, as I said don't shoot the messenger..........

Lorenzo insigne - plays for serie b team pescara on loan from napoli .37 appearances 18 goals.and even the season before he got 19 from 33. He can play second strikers (great even if cahill goes). his loan is up on the 8 July. why not?

Believable6 Unbelievable14

Because he is highly regarded by Napoli and they are realistic about losing carvani or lavezzi and
He could be a future replacement for them

Agree1 Disagree0

Heard he is lightning quick aswell

Go on Ssn on the interview with holtby, he says he ain't ruling out playing in England this season and says he has been infected by the everton bug from a kid. He follows everton and supports them.

Ken wright and moyse he is saying I love this club I am a supporter come and get me, so don't make the usual joke out of signing someone just get it done

Andrei Arshavin to everton? sounds like BS {Ed025's Note - yes..

Believable6 Unbelievable32

We tried to sign him after he impressed against us in the Europa League a few seasons ago but he turned us down for Arsenal. He doesn't look like the player he used to be.

free transfers in:
bosingwa RB
kalou RM
right side would be sorted
manuel fernandes
craig gordon GK cover
saha pay as you play cover for jelavic

cash transfers in:
pienaar 4m

outs:
jan much 1m

so we would bring in 5 players at a cost of 3m

Believable1 Unbelievable45

Wages reality check

Bosingwa 60 k per week
Kalou 80-100 k per week
Fernandes 60 k per week
Gordon 60 k per week
Saha 40 k per week

Administration by Xmas {Ed025's Note - fair point..

Agree1 Disagree1

Good point I the wages there mate, the person who wrote this rumour is hoping for signings like us but Ive herd fernandes is going to Malaga to play in Europe,Kalou suppose to be going to Newcastle due to expensive wages and louis saha is being linked with west ham

Agree0 Disagree0

Saha pay as you play!! do you remember how bad he was last season. id pay him not to play

Agree0 Disagree1

People always seem to forget agent and signing on fee's, these can easily go well into the millions mark for the players we're targeting. So no free transfer is actually 'free'. For that amount of players you're easily looking at the 10m mark, not to mention the extra wages. It's not always black and White.

Agree1 Disagree1

Fernandes is not going anywhere! He tweeted the other day he is staying put!

Schalke midfielder Lewis Holtby admits there is a chance that he could be lured to the Premier League by boyhood idols Everton.

The 21-year-old is a two-cap Germany international, but holds dual nationality.

His father is English and is a keen follower of Everton.

Holtby claims he too was bitten by the Toffees bug as a youngster and would welcome the opportunity to grace Goodison Park at some stage in his career.

He has refused to rule out the possibility of that happening in 2012/13, with David Moyes reported to have money to spend.

Holtby is reluctant to be drawn into a discussion regarding his future, but he is prepared to admit that a move to England would hold obvious appeal.

"I have always said that my aim is to come to the Premier League one day because I love the league," said Holtby, who missed out on a place in Joachim Low's Euro 2012 squad.

"My father is English and of course my favourite teams are Everton and Arsenal.

"My father was born in England and was an Everton fan since the age of five. He immediately infected me with the Everton virus! Since then I have been an Everton fan and have always followed their games.

"My thoughts now are first with Schalke but you never know."

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree0 Disagree0

Our budget could be at either end of the scale in this transfer market, we could have absolutely nothing, but we could also have in ecess of £15m to spend, as who knew Moysey had £15m to splash out on Fellaini when he did on transfer deadline day in 2009 !? COYB IMWT !

Agree1 Disagree0

If moyes has money to spend then it's either a very small amount or someone has been sold already. I hope it's neither of them and Kenwright has won the lottery.

Agree1 Disagree0

I can smell investment {Ed025's Note - i think you will find that the smell. is pure unadulterated ..BULL****

Agree1 Disagree0

Everton never let it known what we have to spend or who we are after.... its all just speculation, untill any1 has signed an its on our website its just rumours. if we have money we wont let the press know that is for sure, we cant afford to be held to ransom, any targets we have the press wont know coz other managers try out bid moyes... everythin will be hush hush

Agree0 Disagree0

Should have plenty of cash now 50 quid for a shirt.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who have we sold then?? Rumours (and I stress rumours) persisting about Baines to Man Utd !

Agree1 Disagree0

If we have money to spend lets get some players in and signed up , if and i mean IF we have to sell lets do it quick get new players in and get on with it we know DM has no say in the matter so give him money and let him work his magic

Agree0 Disagree0

Thought we signed Fellaini in 2008 with most of money coming from sale of Andy Johnson. Think we got about 10.5 M for AJ

people saying diame ive heard he's of to the s**te on the first of july.

i heard last night us and aston villa or linked with florent malouda for 5million and salamon kalou on a free

Believable6 Unbelievable22

For 5 million we should make sure we get pienaar before we even think of any other player.Terry blue

Agree1 Disagree0

Peanuts should come first then go looking for other players.i think cayhil[ will go he had a gob on before he started the last home game didnt sign much outside the parkend then got a redcard so something was on his mind.and the home game before that fallaini dad was at the ground and we all know he wants his lad out something to think about ?

Everton ins:
Naughton 3m
Pienaar 5m
Naismith 2m
Rodellega free
Diame free
Lewis free

Outs:
Mucha free
Rodwell 12m

Believable4 Unbelievable27

Wouldnt mind that!

Agree0 Disagree0

Same would love that but lets be realistic no one will sign rodwell diame is off to the s**te an we have no cash

Agree1 Disagree0

Joe lewis already moved to Cardiff I think and no one will buy Rodwell for 12m unfortunate

Agree1 Disagree0

Rodwell probably wouldn't pass a medical anyway.

Agree0 Disagree0

Blessing in disguise ( spellin) for me, rodwell will come good, showed what he can do b4 he got injured, he has had a lot of hype over last few years, he can relax play an excell now ( injury free that is ), felly and gibbo are easy 1st choice, rodwell still young, 2-3 years i see him in the centre mid, controlling games... b4 he got injured he an felly or neville were in centre, if felly behind jelly, rodwell can do box to box an gibbo does what he does best, i think that will suit him, imo wid pienaar an another right winger, we will give the "big4" a serious run for there money, injuries permited, felly behind jelly proved to be a leathal partnership, its all there, i think 2 players (wingers pienaar style) an a lil luck we are more or less there

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jun 2012 14:34:05
Think moyes is interested in holtby than sigurdarson! { Ed025's Note - i hope not mate..not that i dont rate holtby, but if we are going to buy a 7m plus player....the likelyhood, is that someone big is going out the door..

Believable14 Unbelievable6

Wouldnt mind seeing rodwell go tbh! and holtby coming in?

Agree1 Disagree0

08 Jun 2012 14:08:19
Disappointed to say Wolves have agreed a fee to sign sigurdarsson , quite disappointed because he could be amazin in the near future. Degsy P.S. hope they don't agree terms an we sign him but bein a everton season ticket holder at everton 4 7 years an this probaly won't happen.

Believable8 Unbelievable10

Where does it say anything about agreeing a fee I've checked sky sports website and there's no trace of it at all

Afternoon Eds and fellow blues. Just turned on sky sports news and saw that Wolves have agreed a deal for Bjorn Bergmann Sigurdarson, let hope Moyes matches it. Still cant find it on the website but it should be on later.
Joe EFC

Believable6 Unbelievable9

What a terrible indictment of EFC that we can't even compete wit a Championship side when it come to signings.

Agree0 Disagree1

I wouldn't stress too much over it, maybe this has just been paper talk all along and we have other targets to pursue. Until the club state their interest in any player then take whoever we are linked with with a pinch of salt.

Keep hearing we are after Poland captain and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jakub BÅ‚aszczykowski. He can play all over midfield, mostly Right mid. I have no idea how much this guy would cost but his contract is up in 2013 so we may get him cheap. As far as i'm aware there are no 'Bigger' clubs after him and he would be interested in a move to the premier league. And he is still only 26 too, watch out for him tonight!

Diame was at goodison last night is he signing for us? Deal fell through with liverpool whilst kenny in charge of reds**te. Any news eds. Cant wait till next season keep current squad add naismith piennar and 2 or 3 loans including lakuku, sorry if spelt wrongly would be a great squad, best chance of challenging for europe for years.

German/English ace Lewis Holtby supports Everton as his Dad supports them and says he would love a move to the premier league. Rumour arised after we are most surely out of the race to sign Powell. He can play on the wing aswell.
Source: official everton website

Believable12 Unbelievable10

I'd love to get Holtby, but I can't see it happening - we just don't have the cash.

I know I'm likely to get shouted down but I can realistically see a situation whereby no-one comes in (and I include Peinaar and Naismith in that) and then a sizeable but lower than hoped for bid tempts away one of our prize assets as the transfer window closes.

This would not be the fault of a clueless board/chairman/manager or even of greedy 'moneyed' clubs attempting to hamstring us. It would simply be the result of the situation we find ourselves in.

Happy Friday everyone!

Agree0 Disagree1

Holtby wants to sign for everton talksport as his dad supports the toffees

Agree1 Disagree0

He might be a realistic option if Spurs price us out of a Pienaar deal and if Cahill goes to the Saudis.

Agree1 Disagree0

His dad was in the army thats why he ended up in germany always been a blue and has been quoted in german news papers as saying it his dream to play for everton got to love his passion

For all of those EFC supporters OR LFC clowns on this site - Kalou is a free agent so why on earth are people saying he would be part of a deal? Chelsea have not hold on him after June 30th. Also why would EFC sell a player that was unknown and unproven for less or £5m more than they bought him for.......

Believable17 Unbelievable7

And why would we want Kalou who is now gash and would want 80-100 k per week cos he is a fee agent.

Agree with the original poster totally

Degsy

Agree1 Disagree0

Go home cockney clown

Agree1 Disagree0

A lot will depend on how badly money is needed. If there is no money in the pot and with say £20 million he can get say 4 players well that would possibly be a no brainer for a manger also when he signed his new cotract certain promises were made and perhaps the club havent been able to deliver these promises.

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree with the original post....if and its a massive IF people coming knocking for Feli we should slap £40-£45M on him the same way Spurs did with Modric.

Ed this is not a made up story I swear,Brendan Rodgers offered andy Carroll in a straight swap for felliani, moyse laughed it off,but it's not so daft if you think about it the big man started to show good form and if he has a good euros there might be intrest from elsewhere do you think we've mist a trick, jelly and the beast unplayable,...........tristen {Ed025's Note - you do make me laugh tristen....

Believable2 Unbelievable38

Are you on drugs

Agree0 Disagree0

Well seen as Belgium are not in the euros; no!

Agree1 Disagree0

Maybe if we give big Vic a big curly wig and swap him for caroll it would be a good deal, your on drugs if you think that caroll is anywhere near the standard fellaini is

Agree0 Disagree1

Started reading that and before I got to the second sentence knew it was off tristen

Where you been gayboy, its been quiet for a while, have you got any of your classy takeover rumours cos we could all do with something to laugh at mate

Everton to be taken over by a Quatari billionaire he will give moyes a budget of 20million and will also buy the best upcoming u21s in each position in the country for the reserves including butland, clyne, Bertrand, Tompkins and rhodes

Believable21 Unbelievable18

Kopite alert!!
Andy the Chef

Agree1 Disagree0

I think there a bit of truth in the takeover don't know about the young players though

Agree1 Disagree0

And then you woke up after the magical dream..ha

Agree1 Disagree1

Carlsberg dont do rumours.
But if they did!! {Ed025's Note - nice one..

Agree1 Disagree0

Won't drink Carlsberg... use Crown paint... nor bank with Chartered Trust etc

Agree1 Disagree1

Cant wait for the school holidays to be over with all these kids writing pie in the sky rumours.

Also, love the common misconception that everybody from the middle east is rich and bathed in oil.

Agree1 Disagree0

Qatari not Quatari!
Anyway, if he is a billionaire why only a 20 million transfer budget? That won't even buy the best player in one position never mind 8 or 9.

Agree1 Disagree1

Billionaire takes over Everton and gives us just 20m. Tight arse

Agree0 Disagree0

That would actually be our,,luck we get the tightest billionaire on the planet......lol

Agree1 Disagree0

A tight billionaire is still better than no billionaire at all

Agree1 Disagree0

20 million a transfer window is great I mean we have enough money to build a squad and not too much to be a man city and we can still have some integrity of doing good and not spending as much money as the over clubs

Agree1 Disagree0

08 Jun 2012 02:55:03
Everton to sign pienaar on season long loan deal because moyes doesn't think he'll be worth 6mill for around 2 years the loan will cost around 1.5million

Believable15 Unbelievable18

I would agree with that, ( if true )

Agree0 Disagree1

I think spurs would rather sell him to be honest

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jun 2012 23:56:55
Right, just like the rest of you I want to keep our best players, but it isn't the end of the world if someone goes. For starters it will be huge money, and Moyes has already said he has players he is ready to go in for if players do leave. secondly, we all thought it was the end of the world when lescott left, But then ask your selfs who has been our best players this season? I'm sure Johnny and Buzz will be right up there for most people, and we only got then through selling Lescott remember. Personally, I'm exited no matter what happens, all we have to worry about is that no one goes in the last few hours of the transfer window and we'll be fine, so lets stay positive and look forward to next year!
Toffeepidge

Believable20 Unbelievable11

The reason we suck for the first half of every season is that one main player leaves. Last year it was Arteta. Before then, Pienaar. Before then, Lescott. They have to be replaced and either we don't replace them (in Arteta's case) or we do replace them. However, every time it happens, the squad is broken apart and the new player needs 6 months to fit in. Selling our team will do no good. Keep what we've got or else.

Agree1 Disagree1

I tent do disagree a lil there, not always does it take a lot of time for a player to settle in,just look at jelly.ireally don't want us to lose anyone either but wa all no moyes gets the best out of most he buys.I trust he will do well with the money he gets off a possible sale,of course that's if the sale is done earlier enough in the window.

Westy

Agree0 Disagree0

Regardless of if you agree or disagree, the fact is that every summer we sell one key player and his replacement takes years to fit in. This is a fact. It happens every year.

Agree1 Disagree0

Who is posting this?? Not every summer we sell key players. To some degree your right.does take most players time to bed in but transfers done early enough is not so bad.players can warm to to the club and players a lot easier in pre season rather than just thrown in the deep end like what has happened recently.so its not fact just presumptions you make..don't get me wrong I really want us to keep hold of all our key players and add a few more and we gonna do really well next season I think.just trying not to bring myself down over the possiblity of losing a top player.bit I guarantee it won't be the doom and gloom some people will feel it will be..
Westy

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah,,,Piennar left in January , so not sure how we got off to a bad start , without him ?
