Edd025 can i.ask what you think if.Barkley mate as a player? And if'' everton where to sell him how much you would want for him? Thanks

{Ed025's Note - for me al..he still has a lot to learn mate, a precocious talent who has the ability to become a superstar, but is still very green, and has the ability to change games, but needs to make better decisions, a value would be £50m IMO..

Agree ed, my problem is he does not look to pass the ball in and around the box, instead he try's to shoot all the time, but in fairness he is young and is going to be the best British midfielder in a year or two so to me that means he is priceless, I think we will hold on to this one thank you very much.

. I think it's about time we all got real, we ain't going to be signing Lukaku as we cannot afford his £25 million price tag. the only chance we have is another loan. to be honest, I couldn't care less either as there was plenty of games last season where he seemed dis-interested & his constant comments to the press make me smell a problem with his attitude! We need some more quality loan signings & maybe spend more wisely on Batyshui type up & coming striker. Bony would still be the big signing for me, but his price tag would have to be 15-17 million for me for us to be able to afford him!

If we can find 15-17 million for bony, we have to find 25 million for Rom. It's great business, he will score 15-20 goals every season, that's priceless in the premier league for any team and after 5 years when he's only 26 he'll be worth the same if not more. Bony is 26 and won't be worth anywhere near his pricetag in 5 years. Swansea signed him for 12.5 million so I think they'll want at least 5 mill profit on that!

Bony foe me, works hard for the team and brings others into the game. So what if it's 17m that's what you have to pay for a goal scorer.

Agree0 Disagree0

We could work a deal which involved a fee up front, a structured deal and/or add-ons. Something like 15m upfront 5m to be paid over two years, 10% of sale, and 2m for playing a certain number of games, for example; 60 games. That was just an example.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why are we worried about not being able to afford Lukaku? the last two seasons alone we have made millions from new revenew and transfers out their should be at least 40/50 million available for transfers unless Bill is opening a new show in the east end

Just heard a rumour we may be geting adam johnson on loan next season, they reckon sunderland want rid because of his high wages, have you heard anything ed? Hope its true

Believable6 Unbelievable13

{Ed025's Note - no fozz mate..

It won't be true, Sunderland can pay his wages. They are not bad off financially.

Agree0 Disagree0

When you say heard you mean read in the sunday people sounds like lazy journalism to me he was Sunderlands best player last season

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm in the opposite camp. Great talent but rarely turns up and has about 5 decent games a season and is totally left footed, the right is just for standing on. I'd swerve him like the plague

Agree0 Disagree0

I with thecadet on this living of the potential he had 5+ years ago he ended his chances when he went to City

Agree0 Disagree0

No john I posted that last night before the sunday peopol was published, heard the rumour off a friend. As I say I hope its true, think he's a top player

Agree0 Disagree0

Not good enough for us
1 good game in 10 might be ok for Sunderland but a step backwards for Everton

Agree0 Disagree0

I just couldn't envisage this deal happening.
