Heard from a minority share holder that there is take over talks ongoing. They only get to know when due diligence is ongoing. The board have to disclose this to all share holders. Ill keep you informed.

Rumours going round Jelavic is considering his future, I'd sell him if a decent offer came in. He's been diabolical this season.

Believable15 Unbelievable19

Ok he hasn't been scoring as much as we would like but I don't think he has been playing to badly just not getting the rub of the green

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree not been getting much luck, his service which led to most of his first touch goals has not been there either, stick with him I say

Agree0 Disagree0

Short memories, he was the best thing since sliced bread, cannot fault his effort, he will come good again, get off his back, the whole team since January has been poor.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not getting on his back, I'm just giving my opinion on what he's been like this season.

Agree0 Disagree0

And you could of done a better job toffeemike?

Agree0 Disagree0

What are you on about no named poster? I'm giving my opinion on him,

Agree0 Disagree0

I think he should be judged on merit as should all our players.
I have to say though he just hasn't got the same spot on / on the money decision making he had last season for some reason?
However he doesn't hide he always looks like he wants the ball.
I just hope he can stay focused and not get too emotional at being benched, and get back to where he was before.

if QPR are relegated would it not be a good idea to raid them for Remy and Mbia (im sure we have been linked with him in the past) especially if felli does move on. Also what would be the chances of getting Rodwell back on the cheap?

Believable3 Unbelievable27

Loic Remy for 6mil would be a bargain, but signing for QPr shows us that he is all about the money, and I reckon teams with more money will come in and he will go there

As for Mbia, not really been impressed by him if I am being honest.

I reckon, given the finances around Europe, there are plenty of bargains to be had across Europe, like in Spain or Holland, which I reckon Moyes will do.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we would have to join the queue for some of QPRs better players, However, if Harry is still there I would have thought he would just get rid of the dross and rebuild around his favourites. Plus I can't see QPR needing to sell anyone on the cheap as money doesnot seem to be an issue. As for Rodwell I still think there is a possibility he will develop into a quality player but he is too injury prone to take the risk. We can't afford to have players sitting watching the games, we just dotn have the cash to waste.

I think Rodwell needed to move on from Everton and we got a good deal from ManCity for him. I can't imagine that any of the issues that might have necessitated the move away from Everton have got themselves sufficiently sorted out for him to return.
A pity that it didn't work out for him at Everton, but we used some of the money for Mirallas, who isn't turning out too bad :-)

Why on earth would we want Rodwell back? That would be like owning an underperforming, really unreliable car, managing to sell it & getting a good price for it - then going & buying it back just because it's cheap! You just wouldn't do it!

Agree0 Disagree0

Toffee Tezza:

Spot on mate

Rodwell to City was good business, let's not spoil it!

Blue247

Agree0 Disagree0

That Mbia is shocking, I hope his name is never mentioned along ours ever again. I watched him solidly for 20 mins when QPR played Wigan at the weekend and he barely touched the ball, didn't want the ball, let everyone and everything pass by him, and when he finally did (reluctantly have to) touch the ball he lost it within two touches. Disgrace.

We may take a look a Julio Ceasar for next season should QPR go down

Believable5 Unbelievable17

Surely he's only at QPR for the money and will move back to Europe at the end of he season. Besides, it's pretty clear - from what David Moyes has said and from just looking at the age of our current squad - that we need to be bringing in younger players. Julio Cesar is only six months younger than Tim Howard.
Tommy Gunn

He has already said he would like to stay in the prem if he leave qpr

Marco van ginkel linked to everton from vitesse in holland with neville and maybe fellani leaving will moyes be after two center mids or is there someone to step up

Believable11 Unbelievable2

Already said that is was nice to be linked with big clubs such as Everton. Which is nice to hear. Frm what I have heard of him, he is young and very talented.

So fingers crossed.

Agree0 Disagree0

With Neville moving on, Osman and Pienaar over 30, Hitzlsperger only a short-term measure, Gibson injury-prone, Barkley (and Junior) needing to progress further, we clearly need to add to & rejuvenate the midfield section of our squad. Add in Naismith not settling, Gueye not really progressing, the U-21 and U-18 players needing experience (although Lundstram is promising and Green should flourish) and it's just Heitinga, Oviedo, and (the also promising) Kennedy that we have for that area - and they're not really centre-midfielders.

Neville announces he will be leaving at the end of the season. He's been a great servant and role model but the time is now right for all concerned.

Believable34 Unbelievable2

True. As with Cahill last season. I hope Distin can finish with dignity when the time is right too. Great pros.

Agree0 Disagree0

Been a great captain for this club and a terrific servant for 8 or so years. A true professional both on and off the pitch and a very popular player amongst the players.

Wish him the best for whatever he decides to do next, but as it has been said already, it was the right time to go, was starting to seriously hamper our performance on the pitch for me.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would of loved him to stay on the coaching staff, if he wants to extend his playing career in the lower divisions then can't argue with that. Maybe he will be back when he retires.

personally I always thought he was too negative as a player and always kicked the ball backwards. best of luck for the future regardless.

Negredo bagged a brace for Sevilla last night, really hope we go back in for this lad, could add quality up top with Jelavic not being on form.

Believable14 Unbelievable4

Not sure about Negredo tbh, we need younger players in, Negredo is something like 29

Agree0 Disagree0

Tv app reporting jellivic could be off at end of season due to lack of starts in team. rangers did warn us about him

Agree0 Disagree0

He's not 28 until August, which I grant is near enough to 29 not to quibble, and I definitely agree that, even though he has a good scoring record for Seville (60+ goals in around 130 games I think), we might need to spend our limited funds on younger players to enlarge & improve our squad.
