All these people moaning about Kenwright! We should all be blaming the people went against the Kirkby project because if it wasnt for them we wouldnt be in this situation!

Believable5 Unbelievable11

Maybe, but kirkby was born to fail in my opinion. Kings dock would've been massive for efc. Who's fault was Kings dock going pear shaped?

Agree2 Disagree1

In a second rate stadium and s**t loads of debt. the stadium was not backed by the government nothing to do with everton fans

Agree2 Disagree2

Well no, moving to Kirkby would have ripped the soul out of the club and turned us into clubs like Bolton wandarers with a stadium that's empty every week and absolutely no atmosphere!

Agree6 Disagree4

You person get your facts right we have been in this situation for the last 12 years because of this shambles of a board

Agree6 Disagree4

Bulls**t! Keeping clapping Bill until he gets us relegated to the championship.

Agree7 Disagree3

I think ur wrong bowt kirkby project. It was always a no-goer as we never had the funds, ther was neva guna be help from a supermarket chain. Some people need to smell the coffee and wake up. Bill kenwright is out of his depth at premierleague level, he is a laffing stock claiming he's friends wi so n so, if he was some friends they've turned out to be. Jus do 1 kens**te

Agree4 Disagree3

Sorry can someone tell who was payinf or Kirby. Tesco wasnt paying the full price of the stadium.. We were speculating on investment if Kirby was approved. You have to be honest I wouldnt trsut our board with trying to find investment, theyve failed at every oppurtunity.!

Believable12 Unbelievable0

Well my kids hamster went on a trip, we thought he was lost but apparently when he got back he had been in meetings with the Jain group.

Agree9 Disagree1

Yeah funny you should say that cause just the other day I heard from a reliable source (my dogs arse) that he was interested

Brother works for an investment firm in the City of London, he has heard a strong rumour that Jerry Jones, the Dallas Cowboys owner, is the American in talks to takeover at Everton. He has a 2 billion fortune hope this comes off!!

Believable9 Unbelievable11

Well done red crap, these are comming thick and fast now

Agree9 Disagree1

Dallas cowboys takeover, ha ha.. as if, everton are not a profitable outfit, 29,000 attendance and crumbling stadium

Agree6 Disagree7

Koppites certainly know a cowboy when they see one .koppite its so pathetic now the jokes on you .ur so very sad ...tp.

Agree7 Disagree1

Didn't this first come up a couple of months ago (at a similar time to the Indian rumour?) when he started talking about "getting into the soccer business."

Agree5 Disagree2

Well what's your mates name in London, and what's ur name. U reds make me laugh.jc

Agree4 Disagree1

This could be a goer. Done some research with the new premier league rights up for renewal and apple interrsted with ESPN seen as a cash cow in America. Last market to crack

Agree1 Disagree4

The reason weve not made any loan signings yet is because Chelsea have not yet ruled out loaning us Lukaku, and he is Moyes No1 target. It all depends on Chelsea's coming and goings. People who say we CANT sign Lukaku are wrong. He would have been registered at 3 clubs if he would have moved in the previous transfer window (Anderlect, Chelsea and whoever loaned him) that is against the rules but he can move in this window. From what I understand though we can only loan 1 more player ourselves, and Lukaku is top of his list. This would change is Drenthe signed permanent deal. D

Believable8 Unbelievable6

Whats your BS rating for that one ED? {Ed025's Note - 2.5...i broke the news on lukaku 3 weeks ago...

Agree3 Disagree2

But do you think thats the reason Moyes isn't signing anyone yet cos he's waiting to see what happens with Lukaku? {Ed025's Note - who knows?..personally i think its a cash problem....again!

Agree3 Disagree2

Even if we do have cash I don't think moyes will sign any1 rushed just because were having a bad season. He will wait until summer so he gets the most for his small amount of money. {Ed025's Note - but thats a big gamble on his part...if he carries on under performing...he may not be here to spend it!

Agree2 Disagree0

AvB Brought Lukaku on in the last minute against Pompey, so if we sign him, he will be Cup Tied {Ed025's Note - the cup is the least of our problems mate..

Agree2 Disagree3

People do not expect any signings of any type will the end of January. Its the clubs way of business, they will not pay another persons wages until they have to. Then they will probable say they missed out on Messi at the last minute. Gizmo

Does anyone know anything about Vedanta Resources?

I'm an Everton fan and live in the States, and last night was watching the Fox roundup of soccer. When it came to Everton, they said we were rumored to be in talks with Vedanta Resources of India about a buy out.

Fox doesnt usually comment on rumors so maybe this is really happening?

Believable12 Unbelievable20

Just checked fox sports usa website no mention of a takeover of any type concerning everton another rumour being started by a non everton supporter lookin for a laugh at r expense just decided to disprove this asap. come on the toffees

Agree18 Disagree6

I seem to remember someone mentioning this before on this site? Anyway, the OP said it was mentioned as a rumour on a TV programme. So I doubt FOX would report it on its website.

Agree6 Disagree9

Yes thats a good link ..I heard they were keen about 3 months ago ..very big organisation that is a genuine rumour I even done a bit of homework on them at the time and they could be poss investors for a new ground etc .so nice to hear that name linked again tp

Agree7 Disagree2

According to their website they are based in London not India....

Agree3 Disagree2

BS...who wants yanks owning us, look what they have done to the RS...which of course isnt a bad thing but they will never find a buyer again....what we need is a new ground BUST then the real buyers will come in...other than that lets hope we do better rest of season COYB

Agree1 Disagree4

Look its simples if the main media no nothing about it then it aint true a rumour about 3 months ago ive heard rumours 3 years ago and still waiting on takeover . i got my mate who lives in usa to check out foxs sports and surprise surprise nothing about a takeover time to get real watched kenwright gettin questioned didnt look like a man with any good news to give to fans looked like a man in dispair! more clubs been taken over in last year psg malaga racing santander and just recently monaco media new about them before it happened but no nothing about us the board r brill at keepin it quiet then.fed up had to have a rant.

Agree7 Disagree4

Unless it's Everton Resources Inc they are looking to take over (Mining Company in Canada)!

Agree3 Disagree3

"According to their website they are based in London not India."

It's an Indian company with headquarters in London. Chairman is a bloke called Anil Agarwal who is apparently the 12th richest Indian.

Agree2 Disagree0

Ok but if your headquarters is YOUR HEAD OFFICE which i think we can all agree it is then this business is BASED out of London....

Agree0 Disagree3

"Ok but if your headquarters is YOUR HEAD OFFICE which i think we can all agree it is then this business is BASED out of London"

What are you arguing for? It's an Indian company with interests around the world. What difference does it make that its headquarters are in London? It's still an Indian company, as is stated on its website.

Idiot!

Agree7 Disagree2

It's to do with stock exchange listings for example Shell famously Royal Dutch but London SE listing.

Agree0 Disagree1

Yes it's true nothing will happen until BK agrees to let go.
But that doesnt mean we shouldnt monitor the activities of potential investors.

Agree3 Disagree0

And draw their attention to our great club by banding about the names who we want to come and get us and invest. Waxing egos can go along way. Serious question who would we want to invest. Prince alaweed who supports everton, fortress group?

Agree0 Disagree0

The Prince does not support EFC. The changes to the Wiki page were done by someone from Ellesmere Port - from a college there. The page has been amended since.
However the part about him being interested a while ago is still there - but that probably means it was there before they stated using the bot :(
