If we loose Baines who do we get I like fillepe Louis from athletico but that's unreslustic who could we get warnock? Or just play distin there and bring Duffy into the 1 st team {Ed025's Note - with the dosh we would get... anyone!

Believable3 Unbelievable23

Baines aint going nowhere id put my house on it, he gets homesick as we all know so he deffo wont be going to bayern

Agree1 Disagree0

1. he is the best left back in the prem. 2. at 27 he is in his prime. 3. he is under contract for the next three years. Thus, unless we get an offer, in excess of 30 mill, why would the club even consider his transfer ?

Agree1 Disagree1

4. Hes as blue as a dead whale on a Monday!

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree, selling players is only a step backwards. Don't really care what Uniyed or whoever can cough up. It's about time we step up to the big teams and tell them to get f***ed

Agree1 Disagree0

This is 100% true! My cousin Sean Darnell is married to Baines' sister...he told me that if Baines moves its because of his bird she wants to be like a WAG she tried to make him go to utd 18months ago! Lets hope he stays hes a key player defo top 3 left backs in the world!!
SpekeBlue

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont need to sell baines

Agree1 Disagree1

Selling players isn't always a step backwards. The Rooney money let us build the team that made it in to the top 4.

Sometimes you have to sell to improve your squad overall when you're not a cash rich team.

Agree1 Disagree0

Get a grip! the press are trying to stir up stories and unsettle are top players, read the recent interview with moyes and you will see repeated comments that we don need to sell and he is setting out a blue print for the next 5 years in which he says it well be built around Jealvic Baines and fellani the press go hammer the rumours on one of our players then move to the next. Next week it will be back to felliani to Chelsea. {Ed025's Note - i know what you mean mate..

Don't know where all these rumours are coming from about a rodwell and hernandez swap deal but would you really take it? rodwell was looking great before his injury this season:/

Believable11 Unbelievable16

Yeah he was good but gibson can offer us more i think and hernandez and jelavic upfront would get us back into europe !

Agree1 Disagree1

As much as i like Rodwell, i dont think we could pass on hernandez, the season before last he was one of the top scorers, imagine him and jellyman, we would have the best strike pair in the league {Ed025's Note - i must say, i really rate the guy..

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah before his injury! I'd swap a few players for Hernandez, think he's got real potential at another club..

Agree1 Disagree0

I was the first to post it, I'm not saying its true its just something my mate was telling me about so I thought I would share it. No Idea where he heard it myself...
Toffepidge {Ed025's Note - your mate sounds like a red to me pidge..

Agree0 Disagree0

There is no way they would swap an unproven injury prone youngster for a proven goal scorer I also think wages would rule that deal out aswell

Agree1 Disagree0

United fan Ed, don't really believe him myself but the amount united fans have been going on this season about how bad they all think Hernandez is it really wouldn't surprise me, I hope we keep rodwell for the record
Toffepidge {Ed025's Note - cheers pidge..

Agree1 Disagree0

It's never going to happen (Andy the Chef)

Agree0 Disagree0

United are going to swap a winger for a DM. Riiiightttt...

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Rodwell has looked like a glorified Vinny Samways this season. United are not going to swap someone like Hernandez for him either, they only swap players with us that they have no use for.

Agree1 Disagree0

Rodwell is a class act. But i'm not convinced he fits in to the way we play. If Moyes were to play rodwell, felli and barkley as a centre midfield three i think it would give us a great balance of grit, creativity and possession, but i don't think Moyes would go down that route. I'd take Hernandez anyday, but i'd be wanting cash (£5 million) and Hernandez is exchange for Rodwell.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think it will happen but as the poster said it was only something a friend said,
However if it did I don't think it would work as they are both poachers and the danger is that jelly would become more of a target man, which isn't him.
I rate Hernandez he's just suffering from 2nd season syndrome, everyone knows to watch him now so he gets crowded out.

I think Jelly has more about him and is in that unplayable group that no matter what you do he'll make space and score.

Someone who I do think would be good for Jelly to play with is berbatov, who might not be that expensive to buy, I'm not sure where his contract is at Ed but might be worth a shout.

Not keen on swapping any players, our squad is small enough as it is!

Anyway my choice would be berbatov, him and pienaar, felli all supporting Jelly is mouth watering, add to that Tim, Ossie and Gibbo in the mix could be solid and dangerous.

No doubt someone will tell me berbatov is already going elsewhere but if not I think it could be good

Heard that tottenham will want a lot more than 3 million for pienaar and that we simply cannot afford him {Ed025's Note - i expect £4-5m...and its paramount that the money is found...even if that means moving one or two out..

Believable22 Unbelievable3

Agreed, if it means sacrificing someone like Jagielka, it must be done. Pienaar is too important to this team to just let him go.

We need him to sing permanently, and need him to sign early for once FFS.

Agree1 Disagree0

I think they will sell for 5million (at least)

Disruptive Drenthe will be joining Feyenoord (Pardon the spelling) after his interview calling Lionel Messi a racist. Glad he won't be wearing royal blue again. {Ed025's Note - me too mate..

Believable33 Unbelievable1

Probably his fault we lost the semi - we had neither of our wingers and we realy needed him with Pienaar cuptied - cheers a bunch, dude

Agree1 Disagree0

Sooner he's gone the better. Match winning player, but too much baggage and totally unreliable.

Source? {Ed025's Note - his carer..

Agree1 Disagree0

I posted this the other day and got laughed at (look down) now its coming from other sources aswell
J Efc {Ed025's Note - your other source is tristen!...a guy who thought sugar diabetes.....was a welsh boxer..

Agree1 Disagree0

I still dont know where this rumour is coming from , who is this guy, whys he in jail? and whats his money like? doubt BK will go over there if it seems quite obvious he isnt getting anywhere {Ed025's Note - dont bite mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Also, I'm a unicorn {Ed025's Note - a lot more believable..

Agree1 Disagree0

Honestly do you think B.K is going to sell to someone who is in prison he wants the right person so I don't think that's happening and if he did sell I would not of thought he would pass the pp test from football chiefs they are hot on that from now on look at Rangers {Ed025's Note - i cant believe you guys are believing this crap..

Agree1 Disagree0

Sometimes the internet is a horrible invention....bringing nutjobs together the world over.

Mikhail Khodorkovsky will have bigger fish to fry when/if he gets released in 2017

I don't know why you think it's funny to mislead fellow Everton supporters Tristen.

It's just a bit pathetic really ...

Agree0 Disagree0

Is he taking him a cake with a file in it or perhaps a rock hammer.

Agree0 Disagree1

Ed,sugar diabetes.......your jokes are gettin better......but on a serious note I hope bill has not bought blagg glens vodka, as I feel this could harm the deal, the russians really no there vodka and can suss blagg from a mile away......bill could be in real danger"..........tristen

Agree1 Disagree1

By the Glen's Vodka bit he is obviously joking and taking the piss out of previous posts. {Ed025's Note - the first post deserves it!

Agree1 Disagree0

I hate vodka..

Agree1 Disagree1

Your asking a room full of scousers if they know what a VO is. I think it's a given.;)

Agree1 Disagree0

VO is vodka and orange... nothing like a good takeover rumour to get people all excitied about nothing..lol {Ed007's Note - A VO is a visiting order for the jail.}

Moyes set to make a bid for veloso from genoa {Ed025's Note - good player,

Believable21 Unbelievable10

Veloso wear does he play in the team {Ed025's Note - defensive midfielder, or left back..

Agree0 Disagree0

Source?

Agree1 Disagree1

Why do we want yet another central midfielder to go with felli, gibson, rodwell, barkley, osman, cahill, pienar(if we get him ), junior, neville, johnny, etc etc
we need wide player with pace, another striker and another right back thats where our small budget should go unless we sell anyone- wella

Agree1 Disagree0

possible swap deal between rodwell and hernandez

Believable18 Unbelievable25

Is rodwell swap deal ture {Ed025's Note - no mate...pure fantasy..

Agree1 Disagree0

More like rodwell for owen. We always seem to get the worse end of stick when selling our players.

Agree1 Disagree0

If this is true if think I would sacrifice Rodders for the little man!

Him and Jelly up top would be quality, two players who know were there net is; this what we have needed for a long time.

Just get Messi and every one is happy!

DBEFC

Agree0 Disagree0

Would take it in a flash !

A player who can make a difference for a player who hasn't made a difference (so far). No brainer for me.

Agree1 Disagree0

I find this rumour hard to believe, we couldn't afford his wages for a start.

Why Man Utd don't play Hernandez more though is beyond me. He's a quality player.

whiteshadow {Ed025's Note - i agree with that mate..

Agree1 Disagree1

Sorry guys but i dont rate hernandez at all, theres a reason hes not being played. would keep rodwell anyday.

everton set to bid for playmaker whittingham from cardiff and also looking at kranjcar {Ed025's Note - if we got kranjcar...i would be a happy chappy..

Believable18 Unbelievable15

What is the deal with Kranjcar? Is his contract running down, surely must only have a year left or something like that.

I think would make a brilliant addition for a cheap price, always thought he was really good for Spurs when he played, and unlucky that he has been frozen out of the XI.

Would definitely take him at Everton, we are really missing a creative player, and for me, he creates goals, but he also has a decent scoring record when he does play {Ed025's Note - i like him mate...i think he is in his final year. and said he wants to move..

Agree1 Disagree0

Hasn't he turned us down a couple of times? {Ed025's Note - not him personally...tottenham!

Agree1 Disagree0

I think kranjar is what we need hes skillfull and creates chances and can score a few goals and i think he would be quite cheap because he doesnt play {Ed025's Note - i agree mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

WHITTEMHAM IS A DECENT PLAYER DONT Y NO ONE HAS COME IN FOR HIM IN THE PAST

baines is a summer target for man united and bayern munich {Ed025's Note - he is one, if not THE, best left back in the world, so he is bound to be a target...but hes going nowhere..

Believable3 Unbelievable21

If bridge was bought for 12mill and kolarove 17, then you would need at least 25 to get the ball rolling but hes staying put anyway

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe not, but heard from a VERY good source this morning that we are touting Heitinga around :( why? he is one of best players, surely we need to keep him. {Ed025's Note - he was one of our players of the year for me, i would be very disappointed if that was true..

Agree1 Disagree0

Heitinga's got 2 years left on his contract. If we can't agree an extension it makes sense to sell him before he gets to the final year of his contract.

Holland will probably do really well in the Euro's so we'll get a good price for him. I hope he doesn't go but I wouldn't be suprised if it happened, same with Baines.

whiteshadow

Agree1 Disagree0

Baines and/or Heitinga going would be diasterous regardless of the money we could get. You can't replace the class they have shown this season in a few hectic transfer months
