Apparently mcgeady has signed the pre contract, good news but do you think we will get any signings to see us out this season ed?

Hi ed haven't been on this in a while, heard lots of strong rumours of mcgready joining us. What's your opinion on him? I personally think we're going backwards in sinning him, don't think he will bring anything more to the club.
{Ed025's Note - I have got to say I'm not his biggest fan ben, but mind you, I said the same about gibbo and barry!..
1.) I don't question RM's transfer policy to date having seen the success of the incomings and welcomed the money generated by the outgoings.
Even Joel Robles has done his job as backup keeper to a very large degree by pushing Tim Howard to high performance levels.
So, whoever RM wants to bring in will be OK with me. If there are one or two "failures" along the way, then which manager hasn't had his share of those alongside the successful ones?
2.) I watched him quite a lot when he was at celtic. Flattered to deceive most of the time imo. Went past players easily enough but very little end product. Seemed to have a bit of an attitude problem also. He would be an average squad player at best for us.
3.) McGeady got a ten match ban last season for smashing up a dressing room after being subbed. He's tricky, fast but has a short fuse.

Wouldn't count on us signing that Jorginho, personally think the media have put us in because Liverpool are looking at him. Also I hope the Matri rumours aren't true 12 million to us is a lot of money and would be disappointed if we spent it on him or even McCarthy
1.) Who (realistically) would you be willing to see £12M spent on?
2.) With 12M, I would buy Nacer Chadli, or Jelle Vossen + Diame

Came home from Canada expecting us to have signed batshuayi only to be getting told by some manc on the plane that were in for jones, I hope this is just jones's agent putting our name in the mix just so over clubs have a look at him

Surely we have enough to pay 7 mill for batshuayi ed? All the players we've sold recently we haven't exactly been breaking the bank so why would we want it in stages?

Great result today, I'm not to sure on mcgeady I don't think he'll move the club forward but I'm going to trust Martinez on this one. I'd be very happy with Michy Batshuayi though. Heard lots of strong rumours about him, and a decent price tag considering his age and quality
