McCarthy declared fit for the derby by the gaffer!

Zacki

02 Feb 2015 14:31:40
.Distin going out today on a free.great, that's 2 players gone now & still no additions. let's face it folks - we're broke, we need that investor.get the club up for sale properly Bill!!

Zacki

1.) 02 Feb 2015 14:57:35
Just seen shkodran mustafi at euston station with his agent. Any chance he ran off to catch a train up to finch farm as a replacement for distin?

2.) 02 Feb 2015 15:24:14
We posted a 28m profit for the last financial year. If there's anything we have to face it's that our problems aren't financial. Hopefully all has been revealed about the reason for recent poor form in the latest news about eto being a pre-Madonna at sampdoria

3.) 02 Feb 2015 16:15:47
What? Eto'o' s real name is Louise Veronica Ciccone?
(pre-madonna - please take it in the spirit it's intended)

02 Feb 2015 12:33:32
. ssn have now just confirmed what I said bout Janujaz & Manchester United have just said the same. no go!

Zacki

02 Feb 2015 12:19:00
Well, that's the Janujaz rumour put to bed then. his agent & camp have just come out & said there is no chance of any deadline day move of any sort!

Zacki

01 Feb 2015 21:09:57
.Looks like Mirallas could be going to Spurs tomorrow folks, but not with Lennon coming in the opposite direction thank goodness.we are hunting down a deadline day deal for Braga's player of the season "Rafa Silva". a very talented attacking Portuguese international midfielder valued at 25 million euros, but because of the short time left on his contract is likely to be sold for around 10 million pounds. seems sad about Mirallas as he's scored some stunning goals this season. you heard it here first folks!

Zacki

1.) 02 Feb 2015 00:07:35
Kev won't be sold this window, especially with the option of a further year taken up on this contract. His agent hasalso stated that Kev isn't pushing for a more and is giving Everton until the end of the season.

2.) 02 Feb 2015 07:13:59
We won't pick up anyone, eventhough we at the very least need a centre half and a winger. Martinez will just keep playing Barkley on the wing

3.) 02 Feb 2015 07:25:07
I don't understand why Kev would want to move to spurs, he said he wants champions league football, and they're especially famous for being unable to attain that. What's the point?

{Ed025's Note - the point is that he wants away bloo, he thinks he is bigger than the club and thinks he is good enough for the CL, as you say why spurs?...i am not a vindictive person but would love him to fall flat on his arse mate..

Welcome to the new shambolic world of Everton fc. 'you win some, you lose some, you draw some'.get used to it folks. this is the mediocre tosh we're all going to have to put up with whilst Bobbys in charge!

Zacki

1.) 09 May 2015 16:47:42
Spot on Zacki couldn't agree more shambolic performance yet again & we've had a few of those.
Sunderland to their credit came with game plan Everton played into their hands & it worked a treat without ever having to break sweat to beat a poor poor Everton today.
Don't remember their keeper having 2 make a save that's how bad they were.
Sunderland & hull taken 4 Pts off us with the mighty Stoke taking 6 sez it all.
Heard the boos @ end of the match but don't think kenwright will take any notice will just plod on with the marmite man until he takes were Wigan are now

19 Mar 2015 20:09:55
Well that will be the last time you'll see Everton in Europe for many years to come folks with this clown in charge, I don't blame Alcatrash - he can't help being utter poo, I blame the man who picked him & who yet again got the team selection wrong yet again. our defending has been the reason why we are where we are in the league table & tonight was just unbelievably poor. .I think the final shot from the TV cameras tonight sums up where Everton football club are right now - there were fans crying, looking depressed, P. Reid in the studio was speechless. . it's going to be really hard for the boys to pick themselves up in time for Sunday's game & I'm pretty damn sure we'll get beaten by the worse team in the premier league by which time we will only be 3 points off the relegation zone again. .I just wonder when Bill looked at Bobbys c.v. whether he noticed anything about his defensive record at Wigan & where it ultimately led them too & unless he now pulls the trigger I'm afraid to say the same will happen to Everton fc - if not this season, certainly next! Martinez out!!!

Zacki

1.) 19 Mar 2015 20:29:57
But. but. Brown Shoes first words to Bill were ''I'll get you in the Champions League''

#Wedontwinanything

{Ed025's Note - i wondered when you would make an appearance mike.. :)

09 Mar 2015 12:41:11
.so the 'fraud' has now come out & said his fa cup run with Wigan cost them their league status & has hinted the same could happen to Everton with the Europa run. what a load of crap, it's hardly affected Spurs or any other team still in european football - there teams are still highly placed in the premier league. quite simple to me, this guy is a fraud, he talks the talk but can't walk the walk & has been found out.Bills silence I think does mean something. so hopefully soon there will be a change as we all don't want another season like this one next year!

Zacki

1.) 09 Mar 2015 13:16:26
Zacki:

I too hope BK's silence is indicative of deep concern over RM's lack of any progress in this campaign .

However time is not on our side and survival is rapidly slipping away from us.

When other managers in the drop zone welcome a team like ours joining them, because they deem us soft and lack the grit to fight etc.

Why oh why haven't the alarm bells not bursting BK & Co's eardrums ffs?

This quiet tardy approach to this 'crisis' is bordering on
Insanity .

2.) 09 Mar 2015 14:52:43
Why are you talking like we're 6 points adrift from safety not 6 points above it? Yes I know we're not in a great situation at the minute but your panic is ridiculous.

3.) 09 Mar 2015 15:01:50
Quite simply Bill will do nothing this season he is not used to sacking and will find it difficult to get rid of a 'nice' man, the EL has saved RM because even if we go out in the next two weeks, there is not really enough time or options available to reappoint a replacement, unless he uses one of the coaches as a caretaker.

4.) 09 Mar 2015 15:34:31
'' Why are you talking like we're 6 points adrift from safety not 6 points above it? Yes I know we're not in a great situation at the minute but your panic is ridiculous.''

Roberto, that's you in disguise isn't it ;)

5.) 09 Mar 2015 15:57:03
Of course there is enough time to get a replacement!
and to hell with the EL if it means the drop is the cost of it!

6.) 09 Mar 2015 19:20:23
Mr Martinez admits/announces that he is used to fighting relegation every season as if that is a compliment to his ability as a Premiership Manager. I cannot believe that Mr Kenwright, an experienced entrepreneur allowed himself to be so taken in. But what is far worse and unforgivable is that having hired him Mr Kenwright is not prepared to take responsibility for his employee running this famous and great Club into the ground.

04 Mar 2015 21:45:35
Ed, do you think the clueless 1 will get sacked now after another pathetic performance? Or can he not afford to do it?

Zacki

{Ed025's Note - we cant afford not to zacki..

1.) 04 Mar 2015 22:02:19
surely after tonight he's got to go or else Bill needs to end his silence & explain. we now have our lowest ever points total on record for this stage of a season & more worryingly even less than what Wigan had at the same stage the season they got relegated!! I for 1 am not renewing my season tickets for next season until the Spanish idiot is gone & everyone else should follow suit & hit Bills pockets where it hurts until he does what he needs to do!

27 Feb 2015 12:02:35
.I watched Gibsons performance very closely last night.he was immense.we all forget before his injury problems back in Moyes days he was a mainstay in the team. just needs to stop picking up injuries. as a player he likes to run the show in midfield & push his team forwards & has great technical ability at spraying superb passes all around the field.for me, he has to stay in the team now as he offers us something different going forwards & will be a lot more consistent than Ross is just at the mo.

Zacki

1.) 27 Feb 2015 14:08:42
Totally agree with your comments. He always looks for the forward pass instead of passing it sideways. The team have performed a lot better since he's come back ino the team.Garbutt excellent and deserves a run in the team.

2.) 27 Feb 2015 15:55:23
Gibson is as close to what Tommy Graveson was for us. We've got good combative midfielder's and good attacking central midfielder's but not one that can fit both or that one player in-between that can help the transition quickly from defense to attack.

Besic is a good player but likes the ball too much, not giving it to the forward players fast enough. When he plays the team play a slower pace.

Barry hits one good pass every 20 but breaks up play. It's just no good doing this when you're not leading a match or getting beat.

McCarthy lacks that vision and ability of an attacking midfielder but is getting better all the time. He wouldn't have hit that pass for Mirallas last night.

So, it's usually left up to the wingers to do it.

Naismith and Barkley are far too forward although when Barkley played that deeper role against QPR it was probably his best performance this season (why this has not been done since as a central 2 is beyond me).

So Gibson gives us a PLAN B in the centre of midfield. Something we've all been looking for all season.

3.) 27 Feb 2015 16:18:00
Just realised I forgot Ossie for Degsy! I thought he was class last night as well.

4.) 27 Feb 2015 20:41:39
As we all agree about him Martinez will have him back on the bench on Sunday

{Ed025's Note - very cynical that rick.. :)

He's being lined up for the Newcastle Utd job in the summer apparently.they are certainly no bigger than we are, so why not? He's won the league title for the last 4 years, great with the youth set up & development of players, spends money wisely & tactically & technically 1st glass in his methods.for me it's a no-brainer.get him in Bill & quick the magpies pounce!

Well judging by the fact we havn't won any silverware or achieved nothing in 26 years this would maybe indicate the way we do things as a club isn't the correct way.any other club would of sacked their manager by now as our league position & performances are simply not acceptable for a club of our size. the job is clearly too big for Bobby & he needs to be replaced ASAP!

. ed, when he said that wasn't it before Etoo was leaving, Ossie possibly retiring through injury?!? So surely in that instance with the squad being reduced in size since that statement coupled with our very poor run of late there needs to be an adjustment in his/bills thoughts?!?

Zacki

{Ed025's Note - i would like to think so zacki, but if we do add to the outfield squad i will be surprised mate..

.I've got a real feeling Bobbys days are numbered. something is just not right within the team. & a very silent Kenwrong in the background is yet to come out & back him as he did on numerous occasions with Moyes. this might come as a shock but I reckon if we get trounced by Newcastle tomorrow he could get sacked straight away!!

Zacki

Noo, not at all dentielad. all I did was pass on a rumour from a mate of mine. don't shoot the messanger. McCarthy was definitely our best player last season mate, but so far this season, none of our defensive players have been up to scratch for me apart from Bainsey.

. I think Bobbys a dead man walking Swan.Bill can quite clearly see & hear that the fans have had enough of him & his ways. his latest comments show a complete lack of respect towards all everton fans, the fact that he is out of his depth as a manager in the premier league & that he's incredibly sensationally & amazingly (lol) arrogant & up his own arse.I for 1 will be glad when he's gone.Joel should be no.1 & Besic should be in not geriatric Barry.if we can all see it why can't he?!? Bobby out!

Zacki

. more like he can't afford to sack him as he gave the skinny waiter a whopping new 5 year deal in the summer like all the other flops this season. Can't be any coincidence there.Barkley, Barry & Lukaku come to mind!

. there's an old saying football management - never go back to a club twice!! So in light of this fact I wouldn't have Moyes back, anyone remember Howard Kendalls 2nd & 3rd times in charge?!? As I said before, Bobby will be given until christmas 2015 of next season - if there's still no improvement, he'll be gone. in terms of who next - Frank De Boer all day long - he spends little money, is great at developing the youth & academy at Ajax, can mix it both ways, tactically & defensively astute & has won the Dutch league title for the last 4 seasons on the bounce. Klopp would be great & Bilic would high up the list for me too. over to you Bill, you can do it a lot sooner if you like - there won't be too many Evertonians complaining I'm sure!

.defensively I think we've improved massively on where we were, we just need to tinker a bit with our front 4 & get them gelling together a bit more & playing a lot more quickly & direct into the box & with a lot more penetration & confidence. I say as a realist, let's all get behind the team & try & get them to finish the season as high up in the table as possible - I still think between 7-9th place is possible the way things are going, let's face it, our season was over at christmas. then let's see where the land lies in the summer & maybe Bill will have 1 or 2 important decisions to make, but I think Bobby will be given a little more time yet - probably til about christmas & if no improvement is made by this time I think he'll be gone!
