I disagree strongly on both points. Actually, give him a chance. When our fans hate him after a few games I will be the smuggest man alive.

I ever rated him Dixie very overrated but I would hope the fans will give him a chance I never rated Lennon but he played really well for us he also free so it's prob not a bad buy I do wonder where he will fit in will he take besic place or are we expecting a departure maybe McCarthy I hope not

Has Cleverley slept with your missus or something Swan? Such hatred for a player you've hardly seen! 😂 We have paid fees for much worse players than Cleverley! He did well at Wigan struggled under Moyse at United (who didn't) and did well at Villa? Basically we're getting a player who has played for his country and may well do again for nothing, He deserves a chance and I for one hope he proves everyone wrong for no other reason than it will benefit the club.

No, he's a fraud mate. It's unbelievable he is a professional footballer. Never seen anyone so talentless. I see fat kids in walton hall park that are better than him. He is costing us 15m over 5 years. Who have we had who is worse than him. I've been saying since I was 18, what does tom cleverley actually do. No one has ever answered that question and I ask it a lot. The usual excuses are 'he played for utd so is world class' and all that rubbish. I hate players like wilshere and gerrard more but I just find it incredible that he actually made it professionally.

Not sure how old you are mate, but trust me we have had much worse. going back to the dark days of the 90's with Paul Holmes, Brett Angel and Gareth Farrelly to more recently Per Koldrup and the Straq. That said I'm all for others opinions and I'll be the first on here if he turns out to be as terrible as you say he is to hold my hand up.

i remember Straq. Least he worked hard. He had no ability but worked hard. Anichebe was worse than Straq. Cleverley, like Straq, has no ability but, unlike Straq, he's also very lazy.
