Jeez i'm getting tired of these blues fans. Now wanting Stones to make it clear he wants to stay. Well if u read the Official website on the 17th July u would have read that Stones is keen to stay and play for Everton.

Thats obviously aimed at me and i'm saying it would be beneficial for himself Club and fans to maybe say on T.V or summit not a few words on the website which may I add was probably told to say.

So every time a hack makes up a story about Stones, you're expecting him to respond? He'll be releasing a statement every few days if that's the case. Come on, he said he wants to stay so just leave it at that until he says otherwise

what's the point of coming on tv and saying he is staying you only have to look at that joke of a villa player am staying 5 days later he signs for city the lad wants to stay but it all comes down to money if Chelsea offer 30-40m then he gets sold end of story .

Stones can learn just as much playing with Jags as he can with Terry and Cahill, He'd also have to fight it out with Zouma too. Let's hope he sees sense but then again he is a footballer!!

Sorry did that make it look like I was hating on them as players. Apologies, Cahill is decent I meant and Terry is no doubt one of the best the league has had. I sort of ranted when I said that. But I just do not think Stones going there makes any sense for his career. The role model thing aside, his mates are here (he gets well with Ross, Luke and jags from England and U21), who is there at Chelsea? Willian? Costa? Falcao?. He will not be a regular for 2 seasons, maybe 3. They do not play to his strengths (bringing it out from the back etc), there are other young players around him in the first team here to develop with like Geri, Rom and Momo. At Chelsea he has maybe Zouma, who else? 34 year old Terry? 30 year old Ivanovic? 57 year old Costa?. There would be more eyes on him and more pressure. He would not play under a manager (however silly Martinez is) who let's him play how he wants to. The transfer just would not make sense for us, Stones or Chelsea. But tbf, they could loan him out to Vitesse for 3 years and then sell him for half what they paid (most likely thing to happen imo). Maybe I'm clutching at straws but I'm so desperate for him to stay, best young centre back in the league and maybe Europe.
