Mirallas having a moan in the press, don't blame him either to be honest.

Ed I think I am right in saying that if we never offered him a new contract we would have got nothing for him in the Summer, I know a bit of a conspiracy theory but have we made false promises to get him to sign so that we have him on a 3 year deal, then in Jan we get 8 million, I can't see us making false promises but I can see some truth in this somewhere, maybe we though he would push on and try harder, none of us know what he is like behind closed doors, all we know is that he sometimes looks class, oh well we will find out in 6 weeks.

{Ed025's Note - imo opinion he has not had a fair crack of the whip degs, their have been times when we have been crying out for someone like him to come off the bench and change the game but bobby seems to shun him, i know he can be a big baby at times but i still feel he has something to offer myself mate..

Has something to offer but how many games was he available for? Injured at the start of the season and missed 3 games because of suspension.

Is a good player at times. Can win games on his own with a flash of brilliance. Then other times you would forget he's on the pitch.

Hasn't he been getting a fair bit of game time in the last few games. I thought Martinez was building him up for a start fairly soon. If he had to of kept his mouth shut I thought he'd prob start next game. Been getting more game time as of late rather than earlier in the season.

Patience by the player wouldn't go a miss. It's a team game and there other players who are doing well and deserve their place also.

Seen a lot of evertons 'fans' slate Mirallas across social media. Criticising a player who actually wants to play rather than just accept his pay packet for doing nothing. Ability of the player isn't in question, people
Just can't move on from that isolated penalty incident.

With euro 2016 upcoming, mirallas has been left out of the Belgian squad the last 2 times, before that he was a mainstay since 2007. left out because he doesn't play for his club, he's back into the squad now due to Jordan Lukaku and one other player pulling out. mirallas is now a reserve. He has been unfairly treated by Martinez and it's not wrong for him to ask for more playing time or a new club.

Maybe Martinez will stick to his word which is a rare occasion and actually give him a part to play.

PB you like the rest of us have no idea what happens behind closed doors mate, if everything was ok then surely he would have been played, why leave one of your best players out, injury and ban have not helped his cause but hopefully he will get more time now.

PB7771 good point about him wanting to play. Some players would be happy to just pick up the money every week.

I've totally forgot about that penalty. Not right people giving him abuse. Those people should look within themselves because that's where the problem is, not Mirallas.

I have a gut feeling he'll play a big part this season yet. It'll fall into place eventually. I don't think Martinez would take anything near £8m. Double it and maybe but £8m, no chance.

I agree Ed, shocking how he doesn't play him sometimes, we have all seen it dozens of times where he is on the bench and your thinking "why isn't Mirallas on", must be something happening behind closed doors mate because when he is in the mood he can be quality.

{Ed025's Note - he is surely an option that can be utilized better degs..

Is there ever an International break when Mirallas doesn't moan? . Don't agree with giving him abuse but that is most Evertonian's now. Don't think there's a single Everton player on social media not getting abuse and called all sorts by these keyboard warrior knobheads that associate themselves with the club. Sad thing is it's leaked it's way in to Goodison now. Don't blame any player for wanting to leave now.

I think he is too precious and a bit of a premadonna to be frank. Doesn't do it for me and obviously other teams are not that impressed by him either. Lacks the commitment to get down and work for his place. I was sceptical about Delboy too but he seems to be working hard to turn his fom round, Mirallas could take a leaf out of his book IMO. Not interested in players that don't want to stay sell him 'the grass is never greener' eg Pienaar, Moyes, Fellaini, Rodwell.

There's a lot I agree with there wellzee. Although I'd love to see Del, Barkley and Mirallas playing along side each other in full flow. Could be something special if ever got the chance to get going.
