Ed, very nevative blue boy, if he is COYB.

{Ed025's Note - you could be right there howie..

15 Aug 2016 20:25:20
What would you want, us to donate the stones money to charity, just so you know we are spending our supposed 100 million.

15 Aug 2016 20:25:34
The money is being spent just be patient, I am happy with the business so far. Just need to remember just because we have money we still need to be shrewd and not throw the money away. Also we need to remember that although we have money we are having to sell the idea and dream of where we want to be! Things will change over time but it's not an overnight fix!

Easy to spot them ain't it 😀.

15 Aug 2016 20:32:20
Even if we did have 200million to spend. doesn't mean it has to be spent. let's be honest how much did gueye cost again? And in the little time he's played for us he already looks a beast.
Just because someone costs 30+mil doesn't mean they will be succesful for us.
Just sit back, chill out and enjoy the ride. I 100% trust the club to sign who ever they see fit to improve us. Costs mean nothing to me.

The way I understand it is that we cannot spend 100m of moshiri's money because it would go against fair play rules? So we have to sell before we can buy.

{Ed025's Note - i dont think its as black and white as that pedro..

15 Aug 2016 20:47:12
you can spend what you make. Valencia spent big and didn't make champions leauge and to be in line with fair play they have to let people go.

15 Aug 2016 21:01:25
No, I get that Ed. I just mean that Moshiri can't just chuck 100m quid in to buy players, we can only buy with what profit/ turnover we make?

{Ed025's Note - im no expert on the matter pedro but i think your right on that one mate..

15 Aug 2016 21:02:53
And it has to be sustainable where wages are concerned I would imagine. We can't pay 200m a year in wages if the club only turns over 100m.

15 Aug 2016 22:34:10
I am sure one of the other Eds mentioned that we can make some application for relief against the FFP due to new ownership.

{Ed002's Note - Yes, but it has to be done by Dec 31 and will apply to next season.}

16 Aug 2016 15:23:14
So if we breach FFP this year when does that impact? And how?

Would it be if we qualified for Europe next season?

{Ed002's Note - It depends on the breach - and anything impacting Europe is deferred until the club qualifies but I would not worry about that at all. I am certainly not expecting any breach from Everton.}
