Hi ed, wanted your thought, if we get the bew stadium at the docks, what will the capacity be, because surely if its 60,000 stadium were not going to fill it our we, and if we did surely the season tickets would come down in price, get more people in if it cheaoer. any other thoughts my fellew blues.

{Ed025's Note - it would have to be 55-60,000 dan for it to be used as a venue for other things i suspect mate, west ham have just moved and they are getting 56.000 at games now and that could also be the case for us mate..

How little faith. Dan are you 80 or born in 80. If you know your History and all that! We will fill a 60000, easy enough. Many cannot afford Season tickets but many many more can attend games on an ad hock basis.

Well I have been in Goodison when we had almost 80,000 and that was at a time when people did't have the money they have now. We can fill a 60,000 seat stadium if we play the sort of attractive football that people want to see. Of course the fact that you can watch games on TV is a big problem in filling stadiums these days. The key to me is having exciting games you want to watch, easy access and parking and good beer and pies.

I just wanted people views boys, yes i was born in 1980 but got ny season ticket in 1989. i hope i'm wrong and we do fill it.

I know it's small in the grand scheme of things but I live in Berkshire and myself, the wife (now a converted blue) my 8 year old boy and 6 year old daughter would love us in a bigger stadium to be able to get up and see my beloved Everton play.
Further to that I have about a dozen mates who are blues plus their partners and kids and then my uncles and cousins on top of that!
So there is a load of southern blues who would love us to have a bigger stadium for a chance to get up and see games, my boy is desperate to get to see a game at goodison instead of away games down this way.
So could we fill 60000? I think we could easily fill that and more!

{Ed025's Note - as good as that would be ST you need to try and get them to a night game at goodison before its gone, its amazing and unique experience im sure it is something they would remember forever mate...the old lady under lights can never be beaten..

I went to my first game in 1963, the official attendance was 52000. And that didn't include the ones the guys on the gate didn't put through the books.

Ed I would love to get them up to a home game just a minefield with the calendar the kids seem to have busier social lives than I do! And whenever we have time free there are never tickets available but will keep trying.

{Ed025's Note - you can only try ST its just that you may look back in years to come and say that visiting the old lady with the family was a real highlight, i expect us to move within the next 2 years so the time is ticking mate, it will be seen in the same light as a pilgrimage to lourdes.. :)
