Interesting quote from the BBC Rumours page: Middlesbrough midfielder Marten de Roon says he would like to play for "a club like Everton", but the 25-year-old does not believe he is good enough for "the top five in England". (Voetbal International, via Sun) . Isn't he Dutch? I wonder why he has allegedly said this? Perhaps he is trying to manouvre a move? Any thoughts Ed002?
{Ed002's Note - I know nothing of it, but if it was said to a Dutch media outlet then it would likely be a link to Ronald Koeman - perhaps last year he said Southampton. I would read nothing in to it at all.}

Degsy if he is not good enough in his opinion to play for a top 5 side then he is not good enough to play for us. His negativity would go round faster than the waltzes at Southport fun fair.
