would love Everton football club to come out right now and say unsworth has the job and has full backing to take this club to the top, hate caretakers roles I no it makes sense but just imagine the boost we would have with all the u23s knowing they can play there way into the first team and am telling u know we have the best crop of talented kids playing together since Beckham and the Nevilles came threw at united.

I do like unsworth, people are saying he has no experience? u23s can be harder than the first team sometimes, I would give him till January, if we are happy with him then give him the job, I just don't want the rubbish managers that move from club to club,

I agree with both of you. Despite the takeover we aren't any richer than the teams above us, so the only way for us to keep up is to produce, play and attract quality youngsters. Unsworth is the perfect man to do that.

Everyone is literally above us at the minute.

Some very naïve views in my opinion. The U23's is a very long way from managing premier league first team. You are dealing with high earning international players, often demanding with big ego's. The board are looking to take the club up a level and want a manager that reflects this. Unsworth has done a magnificent job and is undoubtedly a blue through and through as is Dunc, but you will probably find the board will look for more experience.
For comparison look what's just happened to Shakespeare at Leicester?

We will have the fans picking the team next.

So, who do you want then Wakka, just out of interest?

We won't be getting an Ancelotti. Dyche and Howe have as much experience of managing a big club with high expectations as Unsworth has, and none of the others, including Tuchel, appear to be anything to write home about. For every Mourinho there's a Villas Boas, so recruiting someone with no experience of Premier League football is a poor decision in my opinion. People forget, our most successful managers have been former Everton players. Unsworth knows the club and the fans. Knows all of the players and the expectations. Sometimes it's about the right person at the right time, irrespective of pedigree and experience.
