Michael O'Neil to be interviewed in the morning for the Everton Job. David Prentice has just been on North Wedt Tonight news with the claim. Could take over after the Atalanta game.

{Ed025's Note - lets hope not, done well with ireland but a top premier league club is a different ball game mate..

Oh dear from all the razzamatazz and hey ho we are going places with a new stadium, we seem to be looking at the wrong end of the barrel for someone to take us where we want to be. I guess Tony Pulis will be mentioned soon. Please let this nightmare end soon.

Please no. We are becoming embarrassing.
What happened to people applying for the job?

Lets be fair we have sacked our manager at a difficult time in the season, it is a case of availability at this time, end of the season and Silva would be no real problem instead Watford have us over a barrel in the sense of compensation if he is indeed our No1 target.
Other than that it is limited and I don't believe the choice is great.
Personally Dyche would be a good pick in the sense of stabilisation but a similar situation to Silva.

IMO we sacked RK far to early in the season. I am not sure why people are now whinging and panicking about this or that manager. Any decent manager worth his salt would wait to see how their current team progressed till the end of the season. The the highly rated managers that are not currently employed probably look at us and think no thanks. Best leave Unsworth in charge to settle the ship and hopefully we will be in a good enough position to push on after xmas. We are where we are but have enough talented players to still make the top 8. If we can sort our defence out we will start winning games. However, if we are still in trouble at xmas than we will have to bite the bullet and go for a manager that will keep us up and if we have to give a long term contract to get the manager to do that then that's just tough.

Michael O'Neill's mum has just passed away recently, i doubt he will be doing any interviews this week.

At club level he's only ever managed Shamrock Rovers and Brechin City. Together with Northern Ireland, the expectation level at these two clubs is nowhere near what it is at EFC. His appointment would be a disaster for us.

I agree WB It's a farce.
