So since Big Sam has come in, he's signed Walcott and Tosun and Mangala on loan which didn't work. Points wise if the season started when he took over we'd be 6th. I don't want him to stay but when you look at it objectively what as fans our the expectations because, well, his signings have worked and he's taken a relegation threatened side to a top six side in one January transfer window.
I must stress I'm in the out side of the argument but I'm thinking the banners and general viterol is a bit harsh.

Agreed. Let’s enjoy two more games and look FORWARD to next year. If we allow this angst to consume us, we will all be in straight jackets by August

A great philosopher once sang “Don’t worry, be happy. ”

By the way if you’ve never heard Bobby McFerrin’s acapella version of Sunshine of Your Love, then you should have a listen.

Let’s lighten up Blues!

Totally agree Svenny and New Blue in the U.

Look if we had got to this position playing decent football then I don’t think this would even be an issue. The fact is the football is awful, and some of those wins could easily have been losses. We don’t dominate teams we bore them into submission. Now if people are happy to see us play like this all next season, then fine. But I will give it a miss thanks.
All the best.

It's a catch 22 situation isn't it we are getting wins or points but the football being played is beyond awful, we pay our hard earned money to watch us and we should be able to at least get some enjoyment out of it instead of taking a duvet and pillow and falling asleep. We need a manager who will give us attractive football will have a go at the bigger teams and won't go for a draw away from home. Sam has done the job he's supposed to do and for that we should be grateful, but now we should move on and start a fresh next season.

Agree with last two posters. If you're satisfied with points and NO entertainment whatsoever then maybe Allardyce is who you deserve.

He will not be a success if he stays next season and we will find ourselves stagnating for yet another 12 months. I would bet my mortgage that given a full season we would not get top 6, beat the lower sides at home but go and play for a point away, and as for the top 6 teams just hope the negativity frustrates them enough to get a point whether it be home or away. Listen West Brom are after a manager and he suits them to a tee.

So depressed being a blue at the moment. Sam will never win anything in the premiership as long as he has an aperture in his bottom! What makes these times much worse is the s@@@e actually look a good team and I cannot see them losing to a average Madrid team.
On a more positive note at least Steve Gerrard going to Rangers can stop Brendan Rodgers winning a title, he's done it before he can do it again!
